I had to dig this out to watch it tonight for Kelly. She is completely devastated at the suicide of her husband. She can bring beauty back into the world with just her smile! Best dance EVER in the entirety of the show! I stopped watching dancing with the stars after the Sean Spicer debacle and Tom Bergeron leaving. It’s nothing but joke now.

I was blown away the night they danced this live and since then I have watched the video over and over and still enjoy it every time. Some of the moves Kellie makes SHOULD be impossible but somehow she does them. She is awesome, no doubt about it. But some one else who is awesome is Derek. He is one of the country’s greatest choreographers but equally important in a competition like DWTS is that he has the ability to make his partner look great and he knows how to make split second changes to the dance right in the middle of the number if his partner is having difficulty and he does it so seamlessly that no one can even tell that his partner was struggling. I think I remember it being said that he was on the winning team who took home the mirror ball a staggering 6 times! Way to go, Derek.
This to me is one the best Derek Hough freestyles in my opinion. Kellie Pickler nailed that dance and I thought this was better than Bindi's Freestyle in my opinion.
