Do they realize that for green glyphs to spawn, survivors/killers must progress the game AKA get hooks or do generators? So immediately spawning into the game and looking will come up with nothing.

Well you can still happen upon green glyphs as you go through the trial their auras aren't revealed until the gates are powered
they've changed that, the first time we got green glyph challenges, they would just spawn without doing anything else, so a lot of people played killer only to get the glyphs. I guess that's why they changed it.
Imagine complaining about running the killer around for most of the match. That’s like the best case scenario. You end up wasting the killer’s time, and you basically give your teammates a free, easy win.
I think some survivors forget that sometimes it’s good to be the aggro guy for a match and that while it’s frustrating for you as the individual, it’s great for the overall team
I genuinely get excited when the killer is on me - one, it's part of the game and the most intense part.
Two: If i can outskill the killer with looping he's wasting SO much time whilst my team farms the dub.

Seriously, my best loop was 2 gens. Every time I get chased I feel like I get a little bit better

His “looping” was average at best. Didn’t look where the killer was and dropped half the pallets on the map. Probably why his team mates went down so fast 😭lots of people have this fragile god complex in dbd, damned if you do damned if you don’t.

I’ve been seeing a lot more survivors drop pallets every second they can, I’m pretty sure a lot of people are just get dead by daylight for Christmas and don’t really know how it works
Predropping is fine as long as your teammates are doing gens, there's a reason why every comp swf predrops everything
What I'm hearing goes beyond the usual "killers can't tunnel/camp to win, only the survivors' fun matters" to "none of the other survivors can have fun either, the killer should've tunnelled/camped everyone else because only MY fun matters"

For real. Survivors are allowed to try hard and fix gens super fast to win but god forbid a killer try hards to win.

the hardest part of the killer game are the toxic survivors the most tilting match i had was the 4 flashlights who spam stunned me and didnt actually try to end the game just kept me stunned and teabagging. it was after that i started playing killer "toxic" meaning i now camp when needed and slug.

I’m a legion main, playing killer is hard but entertaining if you choose the right killer. Wraith, legion, pyramid head, myers, and ghost face are in my opinion fun to play
I'm survivor main and my husband is killer main, and I've seen how hard his games in his MMR are! It's not easy playing as killer, especially if you try different builds instead of meta builds. And survivors in his matches are so toxic! And when he does everything he can to win, they come to his stream threatening him, his family, his followers etc. I'm so convinced these kind of players are mentally unstable and should just seek help..
The irony gets even better when you realize that you literally can’t even find Green Glyphs before at least 1 gen is done 😂👌
I see TTV in my lobby, I dodge. I do not want to deal with how they could treat me because a bunch of them have treated me poorly. I also do not want to be sent to The Game or RPD everytime I see a TTV.

@@AaronDukeYT I had one and their swf on pride month last year call me a homophobe for killing all 4 and racist for putting them in the basement. They said that I cannot be an ally because I killed them because they had the pride charms on pride month therefore, I should have let them live.
Yup I got a 4 man SWF, one was a TTV and they had head on, flashbang builds. In their stream they said they didn't get why killers played like this (sweaty I guess) to win because I put someone in the basement *shocked gasp*. I didn't realize using the basement was toxic and against the rules. I only got stunned once and 3 died in the basement because they played really dumb but I got called boring and cringe.
Things they did were 1) following me down into the basement to counter the basement by unhooking in my face, which resulting in them just swapping in the basement, 2) going into a locker while sick to try and get a head on save in the basement which resulted in the locker being green when I didn't puke on it, alerting me to the fact that someone was in there and injured, which now gave me 2 people in the basement, 3) again third person coming right to the basement while I was in the middle of hooking people to try and unhook in my face, resulting in everyone dying in the basement.
But I was boring and cringe.....

I had a bully squad with 4 flashlights the other day and I knew I was going to win cause they were using lockers to try and get saves. They used all their flashlights batteries and the game was over for them. I was playing Pinhead and brought his best add on because I knew what was coming. Keep up the good work. See you in the fog.

If you think about it, BHVRs report system is genius! It doesnt actually do anything on its own to ban any players, but it gives players a real sense of accomplishment, like they really DID something to those stinky players xD

..one of my favorite terms heard from someone who was in charge of machinery in an assembly line plant. They prevented managers of individual machines from messing up the line's synchronization by putting knobs on the machine and telling the managers what those knobs should be set to. In reality, none of the wiring behind the knobs did anything, so they could push those knobs up all day long without actually breaking anything.

@@bobukai6641 rofl I doubt you're going to find it out there, it was a personal anecdote told me by the engineer who did it. Even without it, though, the concept is just soooo useful if you do anything in IT.
Something my brother experienced firsthand. He reported someone once for bodyblocking him (and keeping him hostage in a corner) and working with the killer to get him killed. The message he got back? "I'm sorry that you experienced this, but bodyblocking isn't a punishable offense." Which I guess is why it's mentioned by name in the report section in DBD under griefing... Way to go BHVR.
This man camps almost every pallet he came across and has the nerve to say he’s the best looper in the lobby. That Sadako seemed like a lesser experienced killer genuinely, he gets destroyed by the experienced ones.

I’ve looped killers for at least 2 or 3 generators while only throwing 2 or 3 pallets down this guy just camps at pallets, which isn’t smart because if you don’t push the button quick enough the killer could put you in the dying state and have one less pallet to worry about
Bit late on this but survivors do that t-bagging shit so often that I just explore maps when last gen pops and no one is on hooks. I'm done giving them that satisfaction of being rude little goblins. So I just explore, maybe find glyphs or even practice some mind games on certain loops cause if they really want my attention to do their bags they'll stay until just before the collapse 9/10 games. So may as well use the time to learn the battlefield y'know.
I do the same! I normally break down doors or pallets I’ve missed rather than giving them the satisfaction! It’s just annoying 😂

All in all very fun. Couple of minor bugs here and there but it hasn't stopped me from winning some games so no major complaints
I'm new to dbd, been playing 3 month (hard core, addicted 2 game) but I main survivor & t bagged.. until just recently because I had no clue as why everyone did this, or what it meant even. I didn't realize this was the action, of T bagging, that I kept reading about. I felt SO BAD, once I realized "the point", of why every1, did it".

I don’t know why some survivors have such a problem with tunnelling and camping in end game, like what else is the killer supposed to do? 😂
I mean, as a killer main, I do try to spread the love. If I see an unhook happening, I'll typically go for the rescuer rather than the one who was just unhooked. I find a group on a gen, they'll scatter like roaches and yes, I'll go for someone I haven't downed yet.
Sometimes a survivor is just unlucky, though. Had one match where a very unlucky Leon kept running right into me, or he was deliberately trying to get me to chase him, but I mean it was stuff like I'm on my way to check a particular gen, round a corner, and he's right there and I get a hit off pure reflex. I was not actively hunting him in particular. I was actually surprised he didn't accuse me of tunneling.
i mean if im feeling friendly i just let them all out (or be a friendly killer) . That playstyle is more to 'playing fair' rather than spreading the love. In the end you are still gonna kill them lol
This is just a classic entitled survivor. Normally high skilled survivors want to be chased. Never seen one so up themselves that they are above being chased.

@@AaronDukeYT If he played a little more safe and patient they show up during the EGC. I think I got mine in 2 or 3 games. Most totem spawns are near gens or hooks.

People like this amaze me, "play normally" does not mean the killer should play to win they want them to "play fair" to not go for the person unhooked in front of them, to not get kills like they're meant too, leave the person who's on death hook and chase me the full health survivor the other way. The killer isn't there to make the game a fun time for the survivors, its a competitive 4 vs 1 where the objective is to get kills

there's only ranked?? it makes my heart feel warm inside then knowing this one killer saw my friends and I playing for the first time and basically let us win, just minorly spooking us throughout the match. probably thought "aww they're new I should go easy on them, and let them win!"
I was thinking this guy is pretty tame when it comes to players in dbd but the report at the end kinda made me chuckle cause so many new players do this not knowing it does nothing it’s like he never grew out of it.

@@AaronDukeYT honestly reporting that way doesn’t do anything you have to put in a support ticket and actual video evidence of the match. The only thing the devs can see from the match is the end game chat they don’t see any of the game play.
He’s probably still getting chased because HES THE OBSESSION.. and he’s injured. Plus the other survivors are actually avoiding the killer. 3:25

The obsession is the main focus for killers in a match. I think it’s the first one most killers go for.
I played solo survivor for 2 years decided to try killer because playing surv as everyone knows it can get repetitive toxic and just boring,it was like a whole new world I had such empathy for killers and my outlook was different you get so much bulling because your a baby killer and it's not your intention to camp tunnel but you have to do what you need to in obviously good taste this killer did nothing wrong as a survivor can bring all their meta perks but the killer can not? GG on that killer to bad they didn't get him with noed that survivor really needs a different hobby coz he is the epitome of toxicity in DBD.
Yeah I think every survivor main should play killer regularly and vice Versa, it helps to see what it’s like on the other side of the coin 😂

In all honesty he a pretty decent looper but his ego just makes him seem so toxic, also “tunneling” at endgame is honestly so fair in my opinion, like killer just trying at least get one kill so it very understandable

I just love your sarcasms, mind you if the killer as already spotted you just prepare to give it your best run around and your best loops. I had a nemesis match where i was getting chased throughout the match when i was live and everyone done all the gens in the space of 5 mins to 10 mins chase. I was shaking. I loved the thrill of being chased for so long and escaped from it. But now i dont like being chased because of those shakes afterwards, be thrilled if you get chased because no one on this planet is either good nor bad at being chased. Those who are bad they will learn they mistakes and they done really well in the long run! I hope one day I see you live Aaron. I pretty sure I fit well in your community for sure 😁❤️
it really isn't nice with the T bagging. it happens with me every game. Idk why they do it. I imagine if enough people complain about it, the devs will do something about the time wasted when the gate is open. also when bots come out, I imagine people will be in that more then the actual game because of the toxicity. :(

The t-bagging and when they just refuse to leave until you watch them leave. Vaulting things or hopping in and out of lockers to get your attention so you will come to the gate and watch them leave. So annoying, just leave already.

I'm dogshit at the game, but sometimes I have my moments, so I'm always quite happy and satisfied when I get chased a lot and somehow make it out. (It makes me feel like I'm somehow good!) I don't see it as a personal attack. (Besides, how could I be mad at a Trapper, a huntress, or an Oni for chasing me? It's a pleasure to be chased around by those big beefcakes)
If you get so angry over a game, you probably shouldn't play it.

Yeah the only thing I really cant stand is camping bubba. Tunneling can suck sometimes but its the killers right
This makes me so sad. I love horror games, I bought this game and haven't gotten to play because I'm not very good at games even though I enjoy them lots. I wish they had a single mode cause I don't want to ruin the game for someone else because I'm not very good at it. People like this make all gaming spaces toxic and intimidating.

Won't lie the streamer had some valid points on killer's shouldn't spending too much time on a survivor that's hard to down fast. This could be the time you catch others that may be a bit easier and spread pressure and maybe camp to draw others to your hook and down them fast. That can be the difference between having 1k or a 3-4 k. However the survivor wastes too many pallets when he could learn to mind game but in time he'll learn. I played both sides but mostly a survivor main. Killer is definitely not easy. Great video and love your growth and congratulations on RUclips partner I'll be there one day:)

I will put out that tunneling at 5 gens is really frustrating. As someone who plays in SWFs a lot, getting tunneled out at 5 gens can really ruin someone's night, and in turn, the rest of our group's night.
It's one thing at 2 gens, but another thing when it's at the start.
Will also point out I am a Killer main, spending a lot of time on killer, for these reasons. Also to make sure I don't do this to others, but that's beside the point. It's just my points and my reasoning behind it.

@@AaronDukeYT You asked for my opinion on tunneling though lol. And it doesn't necessarily apply here, but in regards to the one vid about a streamer who got mad at your blight game, my comment can make a bit more sense.
I don't think you are really a problem in regards to the tunneling, or being toxic overall. In the Blight game though, you did take her out right off hook, and moried right there. There was no additional context, such as how her previous games or streams went, no other interactions with other killers, ect. Did she seem entitled? Sure, could have been normal behavior, or could have been an off day.
I do know that I sometimes have little patience for survivor games, and thus play more killer as a result, but when I do, it's not uncommon for a string of killers who do tunnel/camp at 5 gens. It can really bring down the mood of the group I often play with, and leaves a sour taste in my mouth, as the best options are usually to pop gens and leave.
Overall, as stated previously, tunneling/camping at 5 gens isn't fun. I understand and defend killers once things reach that 2-3 gen stage. I believe at that point, people have both gotten a chance for points and the game is usually progressed far enough that they aren't usually waiting 15+ mins for the next queue.

I think the great part is that he complains about being tunneled while running two anti tunnel perks (ds+bt). Tunnelling isn't a problem in dbd because of all the anti tunnel perks/second chance perks

I don’t play but my friends play and tunneling is what everyone hates. When you get tunneled it means your getting targeted and some people don’t like being targeted. There is an honor code in dbd so camping and tunneling are things people don’t like. It’s like throwing sand in someone’s face. I heard this a million times in movies and tv shows but a victory without honor is no victory at all. Although some people that have a hard time winning will probably do anything to win and don’t care how they win. Honestly tho some people like this guy are the kids at the play ground that won’t play unless they win or don’t get beat in the beginning. That’s something everyone dislikes and I think it’s a little silly.
I would disagree that there is an honour code in the game tbf, I don’t think that was ever really laid out and, in the end, it is just a game with nothing riding on it, so why is honour necessary. In tournaments for example, people get tunnelled a lot and it’s just the way it is, even though they can have money on the line. I think people just take these things too personally sometimes
But I agree with what you said about people like this guy, the idea that you HAVE to win otherwise you’re unhappy and will behave in a vile way is something that needs to go 😂

i think i might have faced this guy, at least i faced someone with the same mentality, he legit cried that i chased him too much (even though i got a 4k) and when i asked him about it he backtracked so goddamn hard i thought dude was about to make his whole chair do a backflip
I once was against a bully squad which all had flash lights with the most over powered addon and said I was using over powered perks when all I had was light born and mad grit while these 4 people had a whole group that were always together to make a killer feel horrible, toxic survivors can’t think

Dude I wish I was popular enough to get aggro from a killer, every game I play I either never run into the killer or I die in like 5 seconds. I never get to do chases :( sadge moment.
I'm a survivor main getting into playing killer more😂 definitely get the teabagging at the end. I feel so bad for the killer when my teammates do that. I stay at the exit gate to get one last chase escape for free points.
I only tbag when the killer was facecamping at 5 gens or hitting on hook 😂 also its good sometimes to go after a good looper so u can get better in the game
I tend to define true tunneling and camping as unprovoked instances of toxicity. Doing something for a reason outside of the game itself is toxic. Under the in game lens it cannot be toxic as it’s a part of the game. For example, “oh look streamer they are now being tunneled” is just toxic. But “oh 3 gens down I need someone dead” isn’t. I couldn’ve commented this on any video really I just happen to be binging while at work good job on the vids keep it up!
Oh man there was one game where I just stood on the middle of the map cause I knew I’d get tea bagged at the end so I was like screw it whatever and then they started being dicks in the end game chat because I never went to the door. They waited until the very last second to run out.
If I'm being honest, this guy was a bit cocky, and maybe a little entitled, but his salt was mostly justified other than the report. He was chased for three gens in a row without a break and looped pretty well.

Sometimes when I play, Survivor and the killer gets no kills, I usually sacrifice myself for them so they at least get one kill
5:24 -> another reason killer probably made that decision is meg has a tape and if onryo leaves her for a bit, she'll either get condemned or spend time putting tape in instead of doing gens so leaving meg is a good option.
honestly this guy has one of those voices that fills me with rage, you know he is the type at a pub when his mate goes for a piss to down his pint or tell everyone they should leave "cause of the bants" get in the bin
No idead how I've found your video-series, but I absolutely enjoy it! I do have a question though (which you might've answered, idk): Could you explain to me how tunneling or facecamping isn't absolutely unfair? I had evenings on which I made 70k bloodpoints max, because I was the poor survivor that got the tunnel/camp treatment. And maybe you do agree with me, I just don't know xD Would be nice to know. I won't say most, but a LOT of survivors are like that, whining doods who makes rules so the game can be more fun for themselves. Btw, even Zubat, a somewhat famous streamer of this game, is kinda like that, cause he mainly plays survivor.
I think sometimes survivor mains can forget that there’s someone on the other side playing as killer and just expect what they want to happen over anything else :(
I don't killer main bit the times I do I her tired of the exit gate team tea bag. Like, the tea bag itself doesn't bother me but when you're in the exit gate just go. If I'm far away from it I don't want to have to come all the way over there just to chase you out and make the game end

I feel like you can drop some bags if you give them a final down at the end. Not a ton, but some bags are droppable.
Why do people play this game if they can’t handle being chased by killers/tunnelled/camped 🥴 they need to play some Sims or something and chill tf out.

so if a killer commits to a long chase with me (by long i mean at least 2 gens pop) and they don't leave me to apply pressure that in my opinion is a type of tunnel vision. the killer wants the down so badly they can't see whats going on around them and that in a nutshell is what tunneling is. now if i get downed and put on hook regardless if the killer camps me or not, and then i get unhooked and the killer come right back to me that is also a tunnel, as they shifted their focus from the chase they were in right back onto me. and thats not a bad thing if the killer knows how to quickly end a chase its rather smart to tunnel a person off hook but the key is you have to be able to end the chase quickly otherwise you are throwing the match. in my mind atleast more hooks means more than securing a 1k. but tatics and strategy aside i think its completely normal to find tunneling, slugging, camping to be annoying and i dont think anyone should have to censor their frustrations with that on their own stream. we all have bad days some worse than others and being able to vent within your own space should be a given. the only exception is if you take it to a personal level and attack the person because you found the way they played a game boring or whatever definitely isnt acceptable.
I agree that venting on stream is perfectly acceptable, but I do also think there’s a line that shouldn’t be crossed. In this instance, the line was crossed when it was brought out of the game when the killer game into the chat. Like yeah, it’s frustrating and if I get tunnelled I’m sometimes a bit “eurgh” about it but I’ll always say gg and leave it there. Also, the survivors who take it as a personal affront or believe for some reason that THEY shouldn’t be tunnelled is also a different story
Uhhh... I think I am the biggest "not normally playing" player then.
As a baby-killer, in my last round I found 1 person and lost it immediately. The survivors sought me out to get some kind of chase.
I was frustrated but oh well.. happened.
When I sit at the gate, it's me trying to give the killer the item I found. Most the time it's a flashlight I'll never use- might as well give it to someone else.
Though me giving gifts has two options the killer must choose: hook me or give me a nod of approval.

I'm just laughing that he was searching for green glyphs at 5 gens when you have to finish a gen for each green glyph to spawn. For someone who thinks he is the best at the game he doesn't know much.

Survivors are fine with t-bagging but the moment the killer nods after downing them or hits them on hook *then* it's suddenly toxic to rub it in someone's face when you've won.
Bro, if I'm able to loop the killer for 3 gens, end up getting NOED and my team leaves, I consider my work there done even if I die
when i play as survivers i always get downed first and usualy die first but i still play till the end because its a game.... and i have no hard feeling if they tunnel me because its a strategy if to many gens are done and everyone is still withouth any hooks allso there somethink called DS only think i hate is when they face camp me .
The whole point of being “the best” looper is to actually want the killer to focus you. I can understand it bein frustrating sometimes when you don’t intend to constantly do chases and want a casual game but it’s not our decision how long a killer gets to chase us that’s their decision to make.
Stupid reports like those left by this guy are likely why BHVR can take a while doing anything about genuine reports of cheaters, griefers/gameplay abusers etc,. as they're bogged down having to go through countless pointless reports which serve only to waste their time. I can only imagine the eye rolls from the devs every time they have to read a report of tunnelling / camping.

I met this streamer once while playing oni and he wasn’t entitled or rude or anything but he destroyed me and afterwards we said gg wp and I went to see if he was streaming and he was, so he sees me in chat, he recognized my username and played oni to try and help me learn some more tricks and I did learn it was really nice of the guy
I believe T-bagging a killer who is tunneling right from the get go through the ENTIRE match is fair game if you can secure that win. However this guy was very entitled in thinking he was "The best". Reporting people for tunneling is hilarious, by this logic, he should be reported for T-bagging at the exit gate. I really just wish people could get along and say "GG next" at the end of every match. 🤣
I mainly play survivor but I feel bad for that Onryo. What was the point of t bagging when you did your purpose? Just leave. You’re supposed to get chased for a long time that’s being a productive teammate lol. He should be happy about it yet he’s still upset and t bagging after winning. Immature
Very true! Sometimes your role as survivor is to take aggro and while that may not be fun sometimes, someone has to be chased!
In the beginning he did an excellent job of making chase so that gens are done efficiently, if I were him, I would have felt accomplished

I was lectured by a member of my community once by calmly stating that I was being tunneled. They told me being tunneled meant you were getting chased by the killer immediately after you were unhooked, but I hadn't been hooked yet. I was just being chased. I stopped streaming dbd as often as I used to because I just got so paranoid that somebody would think I was being toxic.

100% agree. I'm a killer main and I hate when they stop to do the teabag. I once just walked around the corner and because they couldn't stand being robbed of the teabag, so they came around the corner (injured mind you) and I downed and hooked them. It felt great.
Especially since that entire match was a show down with a toxic swf. It got scummy. Like at one point I noticed they had 2 gens left but instead of going for the gens they were focused on making sure I couldn't hook any of them even once by swarming me when one of them got downed. So I downed one, sat over them, slugged one other and just made sure the couldn't leave without one of them being down. Eventually one DCed right when they were about to bleed out. This was when one of them finally realizes they could just leave if they could take care of the 2 gens. They get them they escape and fast forward to the last survivor getting hooked thanks to the need to teabag.
camping and tunneling doesnt make someone an asshole. its a playstyle, usually an effective one at that. alot of people just find it unfun so theyve made some imaginery rule that its greifing. if you do camp and tunnel, just own up to it and say "yes i tunneled because thats how i wanted to play" and dont complain when someone does it to you. thats it really, its not worth a report and bitch about it
I can see what he means in the Onryo match where he said "its not my fault i ran you the whole match". I do agree that the killer shouldve probably left chase after about a minute of the chase and saw 2 - 3 gens were done. If she wouldve put some pressure on the gens she could've definitely put more gen pressure on and possible downed someone else as well. However, this dude absolutely worded it wrong and had no business trying to berate the killer, especially because the killer didnt play in a rude way and was just trying to get an edge. When I play against good killers i'm proud if i can run them for 30 seconds 😅
Tbh some times it’s better to get the good ones out of the way hook them and then go for the ones who are worse at looping
The logic some people try to use is baffling. That being said, I love this game and thank goodness I haven’t run into too many salty players like this.
As a killer. I try REALLY hard NOT to tunnel or camp. I do feel like it takes some of the fun out for the survivor, or if they're a good runner it works to my detriment. Now... if they bring a flashlight it feels like they're challenging me and I must accept.

Exactly! A lot of times, that tends to be the case, and I get love for it in the post-game. On the other hand, sometimes they just want to bully, and it's satisfying to not let that happen.
Last night, I had a duo bring flashlights to try and bully me while I was trying to adept Plague. They stayed on me the first half of the game and were dead before 2 gens were done. The rest of the game, I farmed with the other 2 (they were really nice) 2-hooked each of them and let them out.
I have never played this game before, I wonder how many players you get like that guy.

I love it when you can tell the killer doesn't want to tunnel and they kind of look at the healthy one that's hard to catch then the injured one that just got off the hook until they panic decide which to chase like ''I don't want to do this.'' 😂

So as a Killer main, tunneling is an extremely viable strategy if done right and efficiently to secure a kill to flip it to a 1v3
But I'm not gonna lie. If I'm on surv, and you decide to hard focus me all match and still can't get me out. You are in fact catching at least a few bags on the way out lol
The most painful part is no glyphs will spawn unless generators are done as survivor or you get hooks as killer

Tunneling is the only reason I quit this game completely for good.
