HAN-AH-BEE-AY are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Reiwa Matching Generation also has clean vocalist (and guitarist) Matsuri rapping - and she’s very good at it. Hanabie really do have something extra special. Their music isn’t overly complex, and they aren’t Saki level virtuosos (yet) but my god do they have talent and innovation by the bucket load. Hanabie - the return of the winter chill in spring. They're close friends with Nemophila and gig a lot together (Tamu who drums for Nemophila has drummed for them a few times live as well when they've been short a drummer for various reasons). Gacharic Spin are very much their own thing so if you try them out don't go into it expecting them to be "like" anything else, their whole thing is mixing up lots of influences and ideas...their latest MV for their track "I Wish I" is a real musical journey and the MV they released before that one for their track "MindSet" is super funky and fun.

They actually started in high school, playing MTH covers. Clearly one of THE new metal bands to watch. Most of their songs are quite pointed, concerning social issues like dating app abuse, drugs, prostitution, cheating etc. “We Love Sweets” is about having an unhealthy relationship to sugar.
