Does It get slower, how about the software updates or the battery health or features which you cannot use on a 3 year old iPad, I will cover all of that in this video. Taking about long term reviews on RUclips, this is as long as it can get especially when it comes to gadgets and iPad really are the kings of longevity. So let’s cover how my iPad Pro 2020 version is performing today.

    Great video watching on A12Z and typing on the folio right now! Wanted to see what other users thought and this was the only quality and thorough video. I thought they updated the black bars on external displays! :( …but didn’t know they added stage manager. I’ll have to try that out. I hope they keep supporting this model to keep it out of the dumpster, I don’t think I’ll need anything more than this.

      Thanks a lot for your comment, I’m really glad you liked my video!
      And yes, think the software support for this iPad should at least be a few more years. You will not get some of the pro APPs support which the iPads with M series chips get .. but for everything else, this iPad should be good for few more years to come 😊

      @@brucelin5842 Oh!! FaceID broken .. see if Apple can fix it as that might be cheaper than getting a new iPad .. also, at this point maybe wait for holiday deals or announcement of new iPads .. not 100% sure of Apple is done with their events for this year .. let’s wait and see if anything happens this November!

    I had this iPad since release, here’s my review. So I noticed that after 2 years or so there was a display problem like there is a big broken part on my ipad display that idk what it’s called I can still see stuff clearly but when my iPad is closed and I hold a flashlight over it, I can see some strange grey stuff and the touchscreen would not work on that part. The top part of my ipad also stopped functioning so I couldn’t go to control centers easily sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn’t. The broken part of the touchscreen would also randomly click on stuff so when I’m watching RUclips sometimes the video would just move up and down without me touching. It’s really strange and I KNOW it was because of me because I did some roughy stuff with this but overall it’s worth it. Really good display, everyday tasks works perfect, heavy gaming is perfect and overall just good, just take care of it well.

    My Face ID no longer works. RUclips app video quality moves me down to Lowest P. The new update makes everything lag. Goodnotes crashes!! I can’t afford a crash as a grad student. Not to mention 2020 12.9 version can’t get Final Cut Pro but the 2020 11 inch can, Weird if you ask me. Thank goodness I bought a new MacBook.

      Think it comes down to what size you prefer. I made videos comparing both the small and big sized iPad Pros on my channel, please do check and see if it helps.
      Also, the 2020 iPad will not get full screen external monitor support along with no support for apps like Final Cut Pro. You also get only 6GB RAM instead of 8 on the new one with a far superior M1 processor .. so you need to considers these as well before you buy .. hope this helps 😊

      I have it right now. Battery loss is quite negligible. Still runs pretty smooth. A slight noticeable lag when working on a large file on my art illustrations, but not really that a bother. Expect 2 to 3 more years of good use.

    hello i was watching your video regarding the ipad pro 2020 i am suppose to buy a 1tb model ipad pro 11” 2020 model today for 560.00? do you think i should buy it or save for the newer ipad pro models ?

    • @RaavMedia
      @RaavMedia  Год назад +1

      The 2020 iPad Pro already looses features like full screen external monitor support and some pro app support like Final Cut Pro! So, if it were me, I would buy newer model and make do with external storage .. but if you feel you don’t need or use those features, then yes, you could consider the 2020 pro. However, just another small thought .. after 2020.. apple added their excellent M1 chips to iPads and increased RAM to MacBook-levels (8GB) .. so, I’d take that into consideration as well before spending nearly 600£

    • @RaavMedia
      @RaavMedia  6 месяцев назад +1

      Personally I don’t prefer used iPads .. they will be of good condition .. but I’d rather get a new one for that same money! Now, the iPad Pro 2020 is good but it already misses on full screen external monitor support and support to apps like Final Cut Pro! So if you can make do with 64GB storage by using external drives and cloud storage .. go for a brand new iPad Air instead of a second hand Pro
