Otsisossi I think it's up for debate what Avenged Sevenfold sounds like. Metalcore, Heavy Metal/Rock, they've got very many different sounds/influences in their music.
Dakoda Gabriel yeah i know i personally like their sound from waking the fallen to nightmare but sounding the seventh trumpet is kinda meh and hail to the kingis very lame imo. My comment might not make sense if you think it like that and I didn't really mean anything with it. It was just a joke but later i realized that i could have meant it like that they sound more like the album avenged sevenfold than the band avenged sevenfold sounds now, so if you think it like that it makes sense
Otsisossi Yeah I get what you mean, I just took your comment at face value. The whole reason I clicked on this video was because I could see in the thumbnail "Avenged Sevenfold" so I was curious to see what style of the band they took inspiration from to cover this song.
MetalUpYourAss I'm pretty sure he was talking about the voice, not just the rest of the instruments. Iron Maiden's riffs where also their song's but the voice wasn't so perfect.
Would love to hear a full cover of Happy in the Avenged Sevenfold style, it sounds awesome. Also would be kinda cool if you did a collab with Anthony Vincent from Ten Second Songs
Gatchi Tater Tots They're not THAT long, their songs :P What's their longest continuous song? A change of seasons? Or maybe some of the metropolis 2 stuff, if you count the passages as one song.
RaketenKuhGewehr Haha, I know, I'm joking. Just some hyperbole, lmao. Although, their longest song i Six Degrees of Inner Turbulance.. it's 42 minutes and 2 seconds, and takes up the entire disc 2 of the album :P The more you know..
Grarf Yeah, I noticed that, but it cost me a lot, because after that they play Happy with the rhythm of Azche zu Azche and the vocalist uses the video technic that uses Till in Ich tu dir weh, and the Semi Transparents words that says RAMMSTEIN and... oh... ( Eyaculation )
TheCryptCrusader Just playing a riff from a Metallica song over another song does not mean you played that song in the "style of Metallica". It's lazy, stupid and not clever.
That was AWWESOME! You understand the musical styles of the other bands perfectly, and ending it with your style was genius! I hope this goes viral guys ^-^
i watch this video now for the 10.000th time since you uploaded it. And i really need to say that you absolutely nailed it! Especially A7X ist so fucking amazing!
+Ábel Simonfi - the Dream Theater section knocked my ass DOWN. Ridiculously tight, with fantastic playing from everyone. The drummer's ride cymbal technique @ 3:04 is awesome.
LOL... that was awesome, guys. Great players, great recording... Man that was tight as F**k!...and I'm not even really a huge metal fan, either - but I DO know seriously bad-ass musicians when I hear them.Well done, indeed.
i prefered the avenged sevenfold part 1 because they are my all time favoutrite band sand 2 everything was spot on! like at first i didnt fully read the title so i didnt know u were doing it in different styles but then i heard the classic lead style and the crazy vocals and i saw avenged sevenfold written in the backround! damn it was AWESOME!!!!!!!! u guys should do more stuff like this!!!!!! :D awesome job!
I wouldn't call Linkin Park metal but I guess if you're limiting yourself to famous bands I can't blame you. All jokes aside, this was fucking great. You're all really talented and I enjoyed the hell out of this.
For me, favourite parts were Avenged Sevenfold and your own because they most respected the original work. But I really loved each one because you managed to deliver the feeling of the bands. And that's amazing ! Great job !
Vous faites des concerts ? C'est putain d'incroyable ! heureusement que la France possède encore des groupes comme le vôtre ! Surtout à l'heure où la musique commerciale sans intérêt domine....
i downloaded this on highschool days 2017, now 2022 i came back to this unopened folder in my laptop and found this gem ❤️ bring back a lots of memories
Hello RUclipsr! I see you are scrolling through the comment section, possibly about to post a comment on this video - possibly one pointing out that one of the bands in this video isn't a "real" or "true" metal band. Before you do, here is a quick reminder on what metal is: Bon Jovi and Europe were once considered metal. For those of you who refuse to recognize any band without blast beats or growls, those are the guys who wrote Livin' On a Prayer and Final Countdown, respectively. The reason we have SO many subgenres of metal is because of how large of a genre it is. "Metal" is the second largest umbrella-term in music that I can think of, and the only other word I can think of that has an even broader definition in music is "music" itself. So yes, all the bands in this video are metal. They are different KINDS of metal and different people with different ways to gauge the merit of a composition will inevitably find some of the bands imitated to be better/worse than others, but even that is subjective.
Damn, all that talent, and you do this with it..... ....and I couldn't thank you enough! Great work, amazingly executed, and just an awesome choice of medley! Aaaand off to your originals, I go!
+Hombre De Bano Well I mean genre wise they are - or atleast were - nu-metal. So as much as I can see where you are coming from... they probably can be haha.
+Hombre De Bano Bon Jovi and Europe were considered metal at one point too, don't worry yourself too much about it. Metal is a REALLY generic term and a lot of different things fit its definition, which is why we have so many subgenres of it.
Nate Hagerman I think everything but the singing sounded like slipknot, but you cant blame him for not being able to sing like corey taylor haha. he still sounds good
6The6Devil6 that's weird because Linkin park was once Nu-METAL, and BMTH is METALcore. hmmmm.... not metal, sure. btw, I like modern metalcore, but BMTH is a shit band.
6The6Devil6 actually your wrong. You're probably not going to believe me but Metallic Hardcore is Metal influenced Hardcore. Metalcore is Hardcore influenced Metal. Both can sound very similar, but are not the same. It sounds silly, but that's honestly the only way I can describe the difference. One is just more punk than the other. And Metalcore takes a lot of cues from Melodic Death Metal. Some Metalcore borders on Thrash Metal as well, because Thrash is just NWBHM and Hardcore Punk combined. Have you ever listened to Killswitch Engage? They sound like a fresher melodic thrash/death and with a little hardcore(breakdowns). By anyways, Most modern metalcore is more METAL than hardcore. Your not going to consider my opinion anyways because your an elitist. Guess what??? Whatever the kids/teens are listening to is the future of music. Not too long ago there were kids listening to Thrash and Death metal and I bet there was a bunch of old metalhead who disapproved. Also, yes your cat named "dog" is a dog now.
You guys are great, very talented, excited to see your next videos, I personally liked all of your parts, and that changing voice ..keep on the good work!
I love how the vocalist casually puts his shades on during the A7X part because Matt almost always wears shades during the band's concerts. Also, the a7x was accurate af!
+Miguel De Freitas SOAD sings more in tune with each other and makes excellent harmonies. It's probably very difficult to mimic them but yes I agree, didn't really sound like SOAD.
+Ethridge You're not an expert on musical genres, you say it without solid reasons. So... for the most of professional music scene (that they have respetables criteria), they are a metal band.
"Yeah"
-James Hetfield
this has made my day mkay XD
James Hetfield NICE XD
XL3gion uuuuh!
XL3gion Dime... Is... That... You!? did you change your name
+XL3gion "Im the table"*
I'm ready to buy a full version of Happy played by A7X
+Heavy Gauge i really liked it too, would listen the full version.
+Heavy Gauge It will be on the next album . I confrim it .
it was bang on that's for sure
+Heavy Gauge Hell yes, that note at 0:58 sounds JUST like Shadows
Yes
You sounded more like avenged sevenfold than avenged sevenfold does
Logical?
Corn Meister well it could be logical depending on how you think about it
Otsisossi I think it's up for debate what Avenged Sevenfold sounds like. Metalcore, Heavy Metal/Rock, they've got very many different sounds/influences in their music.
Dakoda Gabriel yeah i know i personally like their sound from waking the fallen to nightmare but sounding the seventh trumpet is kinda meh and hail to the kingis very lame imo. yeah!
Metallica, A7X and Linkin Park were so spot on.
bqk178 yeah, because they just played their songs with different lyrics
MetalUpYourAss Isn't that all they did?
i said that it is
MetalUpYourAss I'm pretty sure he was talking about the voice, not just the rest of the instruments. Iron Maiden's riffs where also their song's but the voice wasn't so perfect.
bqk178 slipknot was on spot too lol
The Avenged was hilariously perfect
Itsalexmello ahah thank you
Cheers to all those who liked our part! Thank you guys!
seriously, the second you guys announce a show in Montreal, i'll be the first to buy a ticket! :3
Is it possible for you to put this on iTunes too?
FiveHeadz Gaming you can download it for free, read the description :)
Oh yeah lol missed that hehe, you should do even more stuff like this (alternative genre versions of songs)
I agree with FiveHeadz, I would watch/listen the shit out of that! :3
A7X was on point! Lmao at the Slipknot part!
My favorite part of the video was the Avenged Sevenfold section because it sounds just like they're playing it
YES❤️
Would love to hear a full cover of Happy in the Avenged Sevenfold style, it sounds awesome. Also would be kinda cool if you did a collab with Anthony Vincent from Ten Second Songs
Alex W would be nice, don't hesitate to leave him a message about this ;)
Xplore Yesterday I would like to hear that too !! >BO It rocks 110%
Yes. I was just about to say this!
Alex W Im all in :D lets get this post to top comment.
All of these groups should do their versions of happy!
Avenged Sevenfold one was really awesome!!
Eric Wilhelm Whats the original song?
Maybe nightmare
Please do a full version of the Avenged Sevenfold one! That was amazing! I would buy it! Anyone else?
he straight up nailed Shadows vocals
Michael Solis Yeah just my opinion! Awesome Cover of the ihrer Bands, too.But the A7X part killed it imo...more of this stuff!
Michael Solis 100%

Michael Solis I need thay
You fucking nailed M Shadows voice
It was pretty good but needed just a bit more "nasaliness" to it lol
+Clovis senpai Everyone Has difference Voice
But He just play in A7X Style Not only M Shadow Voice
I love them so fucking much!! I LOVE how they do Avenged Sevenfold so much and how they love them too!!💗💗💗
The avenged sevenfold version was spot on
Dream Theater should have been played in 19/32.
And he should have switched drummers mid performance that is a kit that has every drum known to man on it.
Matthew Prince It also was a few minutes too short.
RaketenKuhGewehr you mean a few hours
Gatchi Tater Tots
They're not THAT long, their songs :P
What's their longest continuous song? A change of seasons? Or maybe some of the metropolis 2 stuff, if you count the passages as one song.
RaketenKuhGewehr Haha, I know, I'm joking. Just some hyperbole, lmao. Although, their longest song i Six Degrees of Inner Turbulance.. it's 42 minutes and 2 seconds, and takes up the entire disc 2 of the album :P The more you know..
damn, your M. Shadows is spot on.
2:27, that drum stck though!
you nailed avenged sevenfold holy shit i want 7x to make a song like that
I would pay for a full A7X version of this.
A7x was my favorite, probably because they're my favorite band out of the list :P
omgg, so speechless. very fucking amaze me.
i want full version of avenged sevenfold!
Muhammad Afiq Me too! Full version of avenged sevenfold
Muhammad Afiq I'm with you on this one. A7X full version is a must have!
Muhammad Afiq i got the chills when i heard a7x part we need a longer version
We just extended our name "XY" to "Xplore Yesterday". So you guys know now :)
lol the duality breakdown was fantastic
I was thinking the same thing
yeah! haha
The avenged sevenfold part was scary accurate.
I noticed @ 2:26 when the drummer loses his stick and the guitarist drops him one, nice touch guys.
Tomahawks360 Azche? defuq, man? It's "ASCHE"!
Felix Arndt True. My fault XD
Tomahawks360 np :D german isn't easy.
Felix Arndt Yeah
Check out our latest music video and tell us what you think! :)

Avenged 7fold part was awesome
+Xplore Yesterday you guys are awesome!
+Cláudia Costa (đęąțhbăť) Yeah. Slipknot doesn't seem that happy :D
I think the Avenged Sevenfold version was more spot on than the Xplore Yesterday version.
TVChaseH ahah amazing
Yeah, every time Metallica tries to play anything they just play Enter Sandman
Did you not hear the For Whom the bell tolls riffs and the seek and destroy riffs?
+TheCryptCrusader I heard for whom the bell tolls, Enter Sandman and Seek and Destroy.
TheCryptCrusader Just playing a riff from a Metallica song over another song does not mean you played that song in the "style of Metallica". It's lazy, stupid and not clever.
+UsernameUser Oh fuck off. You make your own video of what a metallica style is then.
TheCryptCrusader I'm not getting paid to do one, unlike these guys with their ad revenue.
You nailed BMTH screams, impressive
Ikr
his screams there sounded more like periphery
loved the a7x imitation guys
amazingly accurate sound imitation of each of these bands...
nice vid
A7X was so...so spot on. Loved it
That was AWWESOME! You understand the musical styles of the other bands perfectly, and ending it with your style was genius! I hope this goes viral guys ^-^
i watch this video now for the 10.000th time since you uploaded it. And i really need to say that you absolutely nailed it! Especially A7X ist so fucking amazing!
Dream Theater and Dagoba is my favourite part! :D
+Ábel Simonfi what Dagoba song did they use? the drumming is so insane!
+ChotBenjermin mostly "I Reptile"
Xplore Yesterday
alright! thanks sir.. you guys did a great cover
+Ábel Simonfi - the Dream Theater section knocked my ass DOWN. Ridiculously tight, with fantastic playing from everyone. The drummer's ride cymbal technique @ 3:04 is awesome.
+MrDonnyAir you mean 3:40 ? ;)
LOL... that was awesome, guys. Great players, great recording... Man that was tight as F**k!...and I'm not even really a huge metal fan, either - but I DO know seriously bad-ass musicians when I hear them.Well done, indeed.
+MrDonnyAir thank you! Don't forget to check out our originals ;)
i prefered the avenged sevenfold part 1 because they are my all time favoutrite band sand 2 everything was spot on! like at first i didnt fully read the title so i didnt know u were doing it in different styles but then i heard the classic lead style and the crazy vocals and i saw avenged sevenfold written in the backround! damn it was AWESOME!!!!!!!! u guys should do more stuff like this!!!!!! :D awesome job!
Kyle H classic lead style of synyster gates*
the singing on the A7X-part was fucking flawless.
awesome work :D
well my fav was a7x, but rammstein and metallica were awesome too. one question : did you released an Album yet? i would buy it immediatly!!!
I wouldn't call Linkin Park metal but I guess if you're limiting yourself to famous bands I can't blame you.
All jokes aside, this was fucking great. You're all really talented and I enjoyed the hell out of this.
They were Nu Metal before tho.
Jan Michael Portugaleza Nu metal isn't metal.
It is.. You just won't admit it cause you don't like it.
NinjaSpaceMonkey
.
Nor is Metalcore, Deathcore, and all the things you don't like.
Jan Michael Portugaleza It's a joke, I don't mind nu metal.
could you do the whole thing like A7X?
Dagoba is a famous metal band? Never heard of them until now.
Rawk4Life not as much as the other bands but we like them (they're from France like us)
Rawk4Life a metal band from Marseille (France), known in Europe
Rawk4Life I think hate breed mentioned them recently right?
For me, favourite parts were Avenged Sevenfold and your own because they most respected the original work. But I really loved each one because you managed to deliver the feeling of the bands. And that's amazing ! Great job !
Totally nailed A7X. Respect!
loved the metallica, a7x, linkin park and the system of a down part.. very well done guys.. sharing and liking it ! 👌👍
That drumstick throwed in min 2:30 is just so epic trick

NEW LIVE VIDEO OF HAPPY BY THESE 10 BANDS: ruclips.net/video/kT-99cxHNSU/видео.html
+Colin Smith I second this, it was probably my favorite piece of the video.
you must have had a shit-ton of fun making this :)
Best ones: Metallica, System of a down, Rammstein, A7X, Slipknot
Worst: BMTH.
Dream Theatre part is musically amazing, and you also imitate A7X perfectly. I'm musician and I can listen how good you are, guys. Good job!
A7X is da best
Avenged Sevenfold and Metallica's version sounded fantastic! Those are my two favorite bands. 👍🏽
Rule #666 - Metal makes everything better.
avenged sevenfold and slipknot where awsome!!🤘
the guitar lead at the end of the A7X part sounds like an actual song but i cant place it. Anyone know it?
This video is misleading as fuck. It's not in the style of an artist. It's in the style of a song made by the artists.
which do you think the best?
DemonWind Shuriken totally agree
SHELL STARS what are u asking?
You used Metallica's name in your video, mate. Lawsuit incoming.
Number 2 . Just Same Like M Shadow . LOL xD
i downloaded this on highschool days 2017, now 2022 i came back to this unopened folder in my laptop and found this gem ❤️ bring back a lots of memories
Oh no. They uploaded 8 years ago? Is growing up this fast😢

I'll buy the A7X, S.O.A.D., Dream Theater versions no doubt.
what song was used for the a7x part? and you guys should of used bfmv too
Same question
Didnt really sound like any a7x song i know i think they were kind of just going with it but it still sounded awesome
they said the solo from gunslinger. I guess it fits
I thought it sounded like nightmare but I'm not sure?
league plays i think that it's like nightmare mixed to their song "deathbat"
This was so well done. Good job guys
Damn, all that talent, and you do this with it.....
....and I couldn't thank you enough! Great work, amazingly executed, and just an awesome choice of medley! Aaaand off to your originals, I go!
Great but Iron Maiden sounded nothing like Iron Maiden.
A7x the best.
Stephen Potter whats the original song?
doesn't the main singer look like Ian from smosh...
Nope, not even a fraction.
I can see the resemblance. it's just hard to really tell cause the major difference in their hairstyles lol but I can see the resemblance in his face
llamabacon935 yep
You nailed M. Shadows' singing
The cover is wow !
i loved dagoba! it was so damn heavy. All of it was great and the ability you guys have to really match the styles of all the bands is amazing.
best part XY
This was posted when MCR broke up.... Nice
+Lisa Yeung Yas! I seen it and I loved it! It was amazing!
+Lisa Yeung thank you c:
*cries in idea*
Brina Urisk *cries in idea as well*
people thinks im gerard way outdoors... only a couple of inches taller
Linkin Park is considered metal?
+Hombre De Bano Well I mean genre wise they are - or atleast were - nu-metal. So as much as I can see where you are coming from... they probably can be haha.

+Hombre De Bano Avenged Sevenfags is considered metal?
+11DNA11 No
I need the A7X version.
Avenged Sevenfold n' Iron Maiden were fuckin awesome, gj .
lml
epic stick drop 02:30
not hating but that didnt sound anything like slipknot.
Nate Hagerman I think everything but the singing sounded like slipknot, but you cant blame him for not being able to sing like corey taylor haha. he still sounds good
01110011011001010111 right corey has a very unique scream and voice in general!
CazMatazz i mean the vocals
01110011011001010111 They didn't quite nail the vocals, but the rest is basically a cover of Duality (if i'm not mistaken)
Lol...i dont know if its your ego saying that, but they did sound like slipknot..maybe you are becoming deaf by listening to music too loud
lol i'm surprised there's no "linkin park isn't metal"
6The6Devil6 that's weird because Linkin park was once Nu-METAL, and BMTH is METALcore. hmmmm.... not metal, sure. btw, I like modern metalcore, but BMTH is a shit band.

6The6Devil6 As soon as you said 'metallic hardcore' your argument was going the wrong way.
MetalDavidRulez lol, I take it you didn't get to the part where I said you weren't going to consider my opinion.
6The6Devil6 Nah man. Listen to Ken Mode, or even Coliseum. That's metallic hardcore. Big difference from "metal core."
Fuck...that made me automatically subscribe. Holy shit, that was amazing. Great job guys! Really, fantastic work! Loved it, and love you guys now!
Linkin park, Avenged, and XY
nice job guys
Dagoba doesn't have nearly the same status of popularity in comparison to the other Bands, great Version though :D
This song makes me 10 kinds of happy
lol I only just noticed what happend 2:28
You guys are great, very talented, excited to see your next videos, I personally liked all of your parts, and that changing voice ..keep on the good work!
I love how the vocalist casually puts his shades on during the A7X part because Matt almost always wears shades during the band's concerts. Also, the a7x was accurate af!
Linkin Park is not a metal band
+Whitefright good joke m79
+Whitefright at most they used to be rock.
+Breachi Chan nu metal is fucking metal, its the same
Hehe look up hit the floor by linkin park. Then tell me they're not metal.
Neither is Bring Me The Horizon.
the singer looks like ian from smosh lol
zawette haha my thought exactly!
They just played a half assed version of duality for most of slipknot's version wtf...
Jaclyn Overgaauw at metallica's part they just took enter sandman and sung happy over it..
Bruce ripmeester wasnt that seek and destroy?
Tobi Kenobix was both
slipknot part ruined everything, but i really enjoying with a7x part, can u gave a version full?
crazy!
it boosted my energy to see how much you guys had fun.
It's like more "Happy singed in bands backing tracks"
You messed up system of a down you could've improved it
+Miguel De Freitas SOAD sings more in tune with each other and makes excellent harmonies. It's probably very difficult to mimic them but yes I agree, didn't really sound like SOAD.
Linkin Park? a metal band? your joking right.
They're nuMetal
lol, nuMetal? theyre about as metal as one direction.
I'm not saying I like them, just stating what I've read
+Ethridge You're not an expert on musical genres, you say it without solid reasons. So... for the most of professional music scene (that they have respetables criteria), they are a metal band.
I'd say theyre alternative rock.
the only thing that would've made this better would be if you did the Rammstein verse in German.
So that's how Dream Theater sounds in 4/4. Strange.
