In short no, you probably do not need to pay a dealer to install a plow for you. In fact, it may be much cheaper to order one online and have it shipped directly to your house, versus having to pay for the plow plus the dealer price bump so they get a little money. This is one of those items that you do not need a lot of mechanical background to do it yourself. Additionally, in the case of the Denali plow installed in this video, the step by step instructions are pretty clear. Making it even easier for those that have never done this type of plow install in the past.
In the video, I break it down into three easy phases. By focusing on only one phase at a time, it will help you in not being overwhelmed by the number of parts that come in these three large boxes.
Phase 1 - Consists primarily of the mounting plate that attaches your machine to the plow. This is the one piece that will vary by what ATV/UTV you have. Again, the instructions are very helpful (yes they even include pictures!) and should aid you in installing the plow bracket without too much struggle.
Phase 2 - Is mostly all about putting the pushtube together. This phase seems like a ton of work, but it really isn't. Once you lay out the parts, and review the instructions you probably won't have many questions. The items go together pretty clear, and you will probably be surprised at how fast you complete this phase.
Phase 3 - This is the most exciting phase as you are adding a few easy items to the plow and attaching it to the pushtube. It's exciting because everything is coming together and it is starting to look like a plow. For this phase, grab a friend if you can. Trying to hold the plow upright while lining up the pushtube can be a little complicated (but doable on your own).
After you get the plow blade attached tot he pushtube, its time to attach it to your machine! If you are doing this alone, it may be easier to put the plow on cardboard, that way you can just pull it all over to the side by side you are attaching it too. Then it is as easy as lining it up, lifting the pushtube up and sliding the pins through the pushtube and mounting plate. Then simply attach your winch! At this point, you can check / modify the angle of your plow as necessary and make sure it is set up right for what you want. It is also recommended to check everything after your first plow to ensure all the bolts are tight and everything seems properly secured.
Good luck, and please leave any comments below with your input and experience!

Also when you plowing start in the middle and plow with the plow angled towards the edge of the driveway so there is and equal amount of snow on each sid of the driveway

I’ve got the same plow, best and most overbuilt plow assembly I’ve ever had, I’d mount it on a Jeep and not think twice.

What size blade should you have to plow? I bought a 60" for my gator 590e but was thinking I should of gotten a 66" or 72". The width from outside wheel to outside wheel is about 55"

Do you think a windshield is necessary for plowing snow?

Is this easy to remove? It looks like you would have to remove the two bolts/pins from underneath...doesn't seem to be a quick release like the Polaris or Can Am models...

It's pretty easy, yes. Not as easy as some of the super quick release ones out now, but it is a pretty east two pin removal process to drop the plow.

Thanks brother! Same principle applies with other side by sides. Only thing that will really change is the mounting plate, and that should still come with an easy step by step for installing it to your machine.
