A moth that has leaves as it’s wings.
It mixes the 2 main things you always love to paint!💕🎨
Just an idea. I don’t know if you have already done this or not, but if not I thought it would be a cool idea😁
The way you put the plastic tube back on the brush is you slide it up from the opposite end of the brush
It doesn’t work for all brushes, but it works for some
My heart sunk a little when you said people put those plastic things back on. All I can hear is my teachers lectures on how that will ruin your brush

I don’t think the fluid acrylics are for pouring. I use them as regular acrylic paint, they are just more fluid than the soft-bodied and hard-bodied paints.
The Abstract art doesn't look abstract... it looks more like perfect...

Hey Mira! Two things! 1: I started a bullet journal monday and im really excited! I can wait bc sadly amzon delivers it won wed ;-;. But I first saw bullet journaling from you! Ive also been trying to be more productive! 2: Lately, I havent been as motivated to do art and what I've been making lately (barley any at all) , I havent been likeing. Do you have any tips for being more motivated to do art, and how to like what your making more? Have an amazingly fantastic day! :D Note: I typed this out on friday, on a sticky note XD
Great question! Something that motivates me is finding the source of my inspiration. Usually being outside and looking at plants, the sky, and water makes me want to create. Music also makes me feel like making art. So I tend to put those together and make something with plants/nature involved while listening to some fun playlists. I'm not sure if you've tried that or not, but I hope it helps you! Also another tip is just to be kind to yourself and tell yourself things you like about your artwork during the process. Half the journey is definitely a mental battle, but it's worth it! Sending you all the positivity! Have an amazing day too. 💜

Use a hair dryer for the alcohol inks to blend and blow them around :)

Miranda, you are always a joy to watch I’m sorry you had an allergic reaction to the alcohol ink, if you do decide to try it again I think you should use it to make butterfly or moth wings in a controlled situation(use a brush) it really is an amazing medium. Without all of the splatter I mean! A COS player actually used some to make some fairy wings and they looked amazing! Keep going you’re doing amazing work be safe and take care.
It's like christmas in May! I liked both the paintings! The moth was cool and the abstract one was so interesting!

using the mario badescu bottle! genius! i have that rose spray, will deffo be keeping it for art/ spray purposes haha. great video mira! i'm hoping to get my hands on some paletteful packs!!!

I love this moth! I'm always so impressed that you just jump in without sketching. I'm felt the same way about the ink...very strong scent and I had a skin reaction too.
Alcohol inks can be really cool! In one project I did, we made like marbled watercolor-y effects on glass by burning off the alcohol in the inks. I mean... not super safe to do indoors really but it was fun! I really loved your abstract ink ark anyway (: The oil painting was wonderful!! I just picked up a mothy pin to join the other two I have in my collection of yours! Thanks for sharing!

I put that thing back over my paintbrushes. It helps keeping them in shape. ❤
You might already know this by now since it looks like you did use them. Golden Fluid Acrylic paints are not for acrylic pours (although they’d prob be fine) they are similar pigmentation to Golden’s heavy body paints just the viscosity of heavy cream. You can use them as you normally would. ❤️

I save the plastic covers but I also use a brush roll and I sometimes don't treat it very well. I absolutely keep my detail brush ones as I've messed up so many tips of those.

Loved this! Perfect for living vicariously on a day when I won't get to paint. The ink looks so fun, I don't think I could use it either though -- super sensitive, eczema prone skin. And it would be tough for me to let go of control enough to use it regularly lol. You've got to try that quinacridone magenta acrylic though. It's one of my very favorite colors! Actually, anything Quinacridone -- rose, orange, etc -- they're all amazing. 💕
I save the little plastic caps! I like to use them for my imitation squirrel brushes because they keep the tips in shape, but I try to make sure they're pretty dry first by squeezing them in a paper towel or tissue. I also keep them because I can't afford to replace my brushes, so if I put the brush in a place where the tip can get ruined, the plastic protects it. And I love your enamel pins. They're so cute. 😭

I only save the plastic tube when I’m transporting a really fine brush so it doesn’t get bent.
Omg i do the same thing with "rewarding myself" with doing art projects. I tell myself I can play with my art stuff when I get the home projects finished. So I havent done art in a while lol. I also totally have the same Mario badescu spray and never thought to reuse the bottle. Great sustainable idea 😊

I may ruin my luck since it's all I can use, but alcohol free hand sanitizer exists. It seemed to be immune to the hoarding craze, so you might be able to find some of that. Bleach on a paper towel or cloth works to wipe off hands too. We take that to like the gas station to wipe off the handles and such since you know they don't get cleaned. I can't use or consume any form of alcohol so I have a lot of work arounds.

M Graham watercolours are really beautiful too. I have other brands that I like using to mess around with, but when I sit down to work on proper art, I reach for my M Grahams every time.
Why do the intro be like some reality tv show where they edit the ‘coming up’ part to be super dramatic 😂 love it!!

The walnut oil is paint thinner. You use it for oil paintings.

For acrylic pouring, you’d still need a medium, even with fluid acrylic paint.

If the brush is small enough than you can put it on the bottom and push it onto the brush part
I like that you give safety notices because I don’t like smelly / dangerous art supplies do don’t use oil paint or alcohol inks. But I like your artwork 😊

Ughhh I wanna try oils so bad! I bought a few colours on clearance one, but haven't used them because I don't have the proper ventilation or space to put a drying piece.
i save the plastic things on my brushes some get lost but i do try to save as many as i can. m graham watercolors are really good too

You should write a quote on the ink project with the goldest paint then sell it for a lot of money or use it for decoration 😅

I'm not sure!! To be honest I haven't explored many art boxes. I tend to stick with Art Snacks and Paletteful Packs. I've always wanted to try Scrawlrbox though. Maybe someone else can answer this question and help someone the art family out? 💜 😊
Yes scrawlr box is amazing and theres an option where you can purchase it as a gift each month so you're not tied to a monthly subscription. That's how I purchase it, it costs me £15 here in the uk, outside the uk I think its £15 plus £5 shipping. I really recommend scrawlr box like I said I do the gift option every month, however I might aswel just subscribe because this months box will be my 10th or 11th box lol that how much I enjoy it. I also get upcrate, it's based in germany I am subscribed to that one, its also amazing, it costs me €22 including shipping and you get so many supplies each month, it's always full! Im sure they do an option where you can just purchase a previous box. Its definitely worth the €22!! I would recommend both these boxes for beginners and professional artists, they are both great boxes. Hope that helps 🙂🖌🎨
