I had heard his songs, when I was a child and still remember "wonderful life". A few months ago I have wondered about him and his song, searched in google. And today I have learned, he died because of a car accident. So sad.Again listening his song and will continue to listen... Rest in peace, my childhood singer.

I remember when i 1st heard this song on tv when i was a kid back early 80s in a Cadbury's tv ad of a man eating bag of strollers at a train station. All other travellers had to rush up the bridge to get on the other platform to catch the train while the the man was eating the strollers slowly and calmly took a shortcut through one of the trains by entering and exiting it the other side obviously he was the 1st to get on the train.
I told myself that's a good idea i'm going to do that one day but i never did.

Awful news coming out of Cork tonight. Black, aka, Colin Vearncombe, best known for his song Wonderful Life, has passed away at Cork University Hospital. He had been in an induced coma since a car crash earlier this month, when the 57-year-old was travelling from his home in Schull to Cork Airport. RIP. #ripblack #wonderfullife
