Definitely a unique and gorgeous city. Fantastic view from the lookout - truely beautiful. I bet you were really tired after that tramp around. Good job Finn 👏 👍
Outstanding. I was watching some of your videos in the background and I was like, "Wow, that looks so familiar!" and then I realized I had actually been here a few years ago. I got some nice gifts from this place, and some of those heavy duty colorful shopping bags they have for sale with imagery on the side (skeletons, Blessed Virgin Mary, Pancho Villa, etc.) Thanks for your high quality videos - they are gold. I am blown away there aren't more viewers - but I am sure in time your channel will explode. I also enjoy the fact that you are silent during this video, so we can really experience the environment for what it is, sans commentary. Thanks my friend
Hey Raymond!! Excuse the delayed response, I’ve just gotten back from a week in Guatemala! Sadly I couldn’t film a walking only clip there as the homelessness situation was out of control and I felt unsafe & at risk of being mugged! Seriously your comment made my day, THANKS so much!! I am currently in southern Mexico on the Pacific Coast so keep an eye out for videos from here 😀!! Thanks again, Finn
I grew up in Zacatecas, and we have callejones there; but Guanajuato is like 10 levels up lol. Very nice! I like the video and the sound, it's like being there without doing all the walk. You were out of breath at times haha
Hey Josè! Zacatecas is another spectacular place I can’t wait to go back to - what a cool place to grow up in! Those stairs to the lookout were difficult to scale while trying my best to keep breathing noise down 😅. Thanks for watching amigo!
Me encanto esta caminata por Guanajuato Finncito! Faltaba la comida ; ) pero la arquitectura y los colores me traen muchas memorias de esa ciudad tan hermosa.
Gracias Mary-Beth! So many memories from the trip we did back in 2006!! Remember going here, the kissing ally, Teatro Juarez and the mummies? Si falta la comida porque era caminando, no “vlog”. I will do food in the next one from Puerto Escondido 😁!! Thanks for watching😀
21:39 Beautiful! There is video of Queen Elizabeth II standing in a car parading through this very spot in the 1960’s or 70’s. Through my ancestors in Zacatecas, I am very far cousins with her, that would’ve been fun to see. Thanks for the excellent video and relaxing walk!! Nice work
Finnster muchas gracias por este walking tour of Guanajuato. I´m heading that way in a month´s time as you already know from our in person meeting in Mexico City two weeks ago. I´m definitely looking forward to exploring that lovely city and am REVVED UP🏍🏎 or FIRED UP🚀🔥 about experiencing Dia De Los Muertos there on November 1st and 2nd. This walking video tour you made is AWESOME😎🍀🙏🏻🕉 Finn!
Gracias Eddie!!! You are going to love it in Guanajuato, don’t get lost underground in the tunnel network😜. Day of the dead at the cemetery (Panteon?) in Guanajuato would be surreal, I wonder if they let people in on those days? It’s up by the mummy museum if you decide to go and we’ll worth it.
Finn, what a great job of filming Mexico! Kudos! Noticed you haven't posted recently, can you give us an update? Have you been traveling? God's best to you and yours! Greetings from Louisiana, USA! BTW, I was in Zacatecas just recently (June 2024) and your video brought many nice memories to mind, thanks for your work!
I just discovered your channel thanks to my English teacher who showed me the video you made about torreón since it is my city and now I am in love with your content I love it
Hey Jocelyn! Glad you like the videos! 😃 Torreón is one of my favourite cities in all of Mexico! I love the architecture there and the people are super friendly. Mucho gusto!
Hola Finn! Hey great to see the old streets of Guanajuato again - loved this city the most from the small amount of places I've been to so far in the good old states of Mexico and so nice to see it has bounced back, from the seems of things, since your earlier walking tour a year or so back. Really enjoyed the tour of the Mercado Hidalgo (spelling?) and I remember fondly in your last clip the young fellah walking through to the Butchers shop with half a beast on his shoulder, a couple of dogs sniffing around in hopeful curiosity, haha! Looking forward to your next installment, adios!
Hey thanks for the comment, glad you liked it. Much more lively this year compared to last, also a noticeable number of tourists who have returned (last year I didn’t spot a single gringo in the 10 weeks I was there).
Just got back from Texas... this video has me wanting to get back on the plane and go south! :) LOVE this Walking type video, you do an incredible job! THANKS SO MUCH!!!
@@FinnDelMundoTravel I flew into Dallas/Ft. Worth There are NO mountains!! mostly flat, but outside the city beautiful rolling hills. My favorite place this trip was a tiny little town called Dublin with historical buildings and cool people! :) Btw are you still in Mexico? I am trying to get stuff ready to head to Puebla maybe in a month or so.... My host family called and asked me to come back :) Good stuff!
Hey Di! Yeah, there are a mix of paved in the central city area and in the smaller alleyways are mostly cobbled. All of it has a medieval feel to it! 😍
I always go for Airbnb - the map function usually gives a rough indication of where the apartment will be but isn’t always exact. Staying right in the centro zone is the best bet, some accomodations are far from the city and in my opinion lack the charm. Being amongst the organised chaos is what it’s all about 😃!!
Colombia is probably next stop for me (well I’ll have to do Guatemala in a month also because my Mexican visa is close to expiry). Brazil is also a country I’d love to see!!!!! So many places in the world to see and not enough money in my bank account to get around them all😅😜. My dream is to visit Ushuaia at the bottom of South America!

Really like the way you walking and recording at the same time...very unique...seriously I really like that.😌
Those backstreets and tunnels are a maze.
Definitely a unique and gorgeous city. Fantastic view from the lookout - truely beautiful. I bet you were really tired after that tramp around. Good job Finn 👏 👍
Hey Chris!! I was wiped out after climbing those steps but not too bad once I finished filming. 😁👌
Thanks for watching ;)

Zacatecas is also very beautiful, but they they should ban cars from more streets like Guanajuato did to be more walkable.
Sorry, I’m from Zacatecas and Guanajuato does not compare to Zacatecas, ni de chiste!

Enjoyed experiencing the sights and sounds of Guanajuato with you! Nicely done! 😊
