OMG this made me laugh so hard...a welcome break from studying! I agree with other comments, you should make more videos or songs like this, I would totally buy an album of your songs!
ha, where are the 804 unavailable exceptions? and what about privileges and multiple hearsay under 805? you need to make a few more of these. too bad i took my evidence final on tuesday. make one for me for corporations before next tuesday.

@dp77777 clearly you aren't studying law, or criminal justice. This video is not only accurate, it is a helpful way to remember the 803 hearsay objection. Please know what you are talking about before you try to discredit someone.
To go with seeingblueband... Res Gestae: Latin, literally "things done." The events, circumstances, remarks, etc., that relate to a particular case, esp. as constituting admissible evidence in a court of law. Great video!
lol this is pretty funny, but pretty inaccurate, i wouldnt exactly rely on this for anything other than a song to sing over and over when dying of boredom in the library
When you're seeking to enter a statement that one made outside of court into evidence and the declarant of the statement will not be testifying and, thus, not cross-examined.
Love the "Schoolhouse Rock" parody! (Specifically, of the classic "Interjection" episode. Yup, that's right ....I'm a child of the 1970s.) Darn! That's the end!
This is awesome, I'm a German law student with American law as an additional subject. It may be inaccurate but we aren't covering everything in detail as you do. It certainly helped me remember the 803 exceptions for my exam tomorrow. And it proves that law doesn't have to be dull and boring :-) Great job! (Can't stop singing now thanks to you!)
One of the best RUclips videos ever created!

Quimbee better step it up lol
I just want to say that when the guy says, "Whoa, that guy's out of control!" it might run into lay opinion problems.
This is awesome, it really helped me understand hearsay exceptions

The audio is not working exactly...I can hear the background instrumental and background vocals, but not the melody...?
Possibly, but that would be similar to a lay witness expressing the opinion that someone was drunk.
Pretty sure I love you, but I'll let you know tomorrow after my evidence exam tomorrow.
And to Tom Mack. Dave Clarke's best evidence (pun intended) professor!
god i hate barbri dvd's so much, ive been youtubing all morning

So what exactly would a hearsay objection be?
My names is FSUGeoff, and I support this video.

This is a good video.
You were BORING, or just bored?
When you're seeking to enter a statement that one made outside of court into evidence and the declarant of the statement will not be testifying and, thus, not cross-examined.
