What kind of oil do you use before molding?
Rem oil if anything.

What are you using for your flashlight channel widgets? Round Nylon bars? If so what size?
Round flashlight widgets. They are made from HDPE and seem to have been discontinued cause they can't be found anywhere

Get the material. Get an oven you won't use for food anymore. And some sort of press and try it!

How do you determine when to use a full retention plate versus the small retention piece?
Taco style uses full. Pancake style uses partial. But that also depends on you. I know people who use a partial for iwb taco styles. It's however you want to make them. This is how i do it

How can I add more slide length in case of a firearm with compensator? With that FN for example???
Cut a block of wood to fit. Or cut a bad mold and use the muzzle
