I beat Bloodbath about 10 months ago and this tier list pretty much sums up my experience with it. Only part that is F for me is Michigun. I died over 100 times at the UFO alone. It was a gut wrenching part to get past because I never wanted to do it again. I fortunately fluked the level from 79% so I didn’t have to die at the end. Anyways, great video How-D
I beat it about a month ago it toook 58000 or so attempts it sucked i didnt suffer much to michi i'd put it in C tier but for me the crack was the main choking point i died there 50-70 times and i was stuck there for about 3 weeks and gg on bloodbath :)

@@MatMart Pretty solid list. It seems like everyone who has beaten Bloodbath puts Michi near F. And everyone who hasn't beaten it thinks it should go in S. I'm sort of in the middle. It's easily the least creative gameplay in the whole level imo which makes it very hard to place higher than B for me.
My opinion on this list: I agree with your S tier but not michi being in A tier, i think it should be c because it’s annoying and where most of my deaths are. I also think etzer is a D tier as it’s too far to be that annoying havok is fine. I think it’s C tier as there’s nothing wrong with it.
As a person who died pass 90 4 or 5 times on bb, I can agree that this level is scary, especially if ur jumping from an insane demon like I did. So howd, if u ever want to go for this, make sure ur talking to friends every time ur playing this, but do whatever u wanna do.

currently working on bloodbath (jump from acu), here's my rankings and not so brief explanations of why: S: *Evasium* super fun to play and feels balanced; deco is also great > *Giron* difficult (but fun) gameplay that gets consistent with practice; i particularly like the deco, not sure why > *Ggb0y* the slow gameplay fits the vibe of the ending of the level, and is pretty fun, although i don't love the going through the blocks part (although i'm consistent at it now); deco is pretty good A: *Crack* i love ship and it feels well balanced (my only extreme is acu which has almost no ship, so it's a nice change of pace); deco fits the energy of the music, and it's a nice adjustment from the previous slow parts with their dark theme > *WeoWeoTeo* super iconic start to a super iconic level, pretty fun but i hate the ball, it just feels like spam but not quite to where it isn't consistent; deco is good > *Vermillion* love the ship and ball, they both feel skill based. ball syncs very well and is fun to play because of that; deco is good as well B: *Etzer* generally fun and gets pretty consistent, but the yellow orb into the straight fly at the end is so horrendously inconsistent that i can't put it any higher than this; deco is okay, not the best but not bad > *Riot* the triple at the end feels like a final trial, going back to the basics of your playthrough after everything that has happened. also he got 2% of the level what can he do; deco feels empty, which fits pretty well since it's the end of the level C: *ASonicMen* not super fun gameplay but it gets kinda consistent, dying on the transition is definitely not fun; don't love the deco either > *Havok* generally unfun gameplay, most forgettable part of the level for sure; deco is nothing crazy either D: *Michigun* the ufo can go to hell (rest is kind of fine but generally not very fun); deco is okay but i don't love it F: nothing :D overall enjoyment rating: 7.5/10
My hardest is nine circles, once I decided to beat bloodbath, and like first 35k attempts I died everywhere, but now on about 40k attempts I have 44 from zero, 24-74 and 53-100, I think I can do it
Dual is evasium I think? Btw the weo to vermillion transition depends heavily on how you exit the ball, so its only as consistent as your weo ending is lol For a timing/wave player, michi ufo ain't too bad Also about the layering, yea that wasn't really a thing in 1.9 iirc Also fun fact about gboy's part, you can die to the 95% straightfly after turning into ball! (Ball hitbox is square so it can reach to the spike if you're low enough)
I have managed to beat Bloodbath in 2.4k attempts. In my opinion, Michigun and Etzer is where the true difficulty starts. Overall great video and im happy you didn't mostly judge by how difficult they are.

Im jumping to this from windy landscape and i SOMEHOW still haven’t died to the michigun ufo from 0 all 4 times i passed the ufo (the whole of michigun is really satisfying imo)
1:36 youre coming into that transition from a fixed point. if you play the level normally youll find that depending on how fast/slow you do the ball, youll go through the transition much higher or lower. sometimes you have to adjust on the fly. it can be fun in its own way but not exactly consistent
11:14 literally same, idk who tf thought this would look good (well, etzer obviously), and i know it was 1.9 and all but there is a way to add glow to slopes like this without it looking like dogwater…he couldve done the circle glow object (4 corner glows rotated to make a circle) with an extremely dark color with blending, and just spam it randomly for a really cool looking glow effect, at least for the time, it wouldnt be consistent or symmetrical but id say that would be a good thing, just randomly place those objects for a kinda foggy look…and its not like this was an unknown technique in 1.9 either, ive seen it done in 1.9 levels, just a shame it wasnt done here, it couldve been like 3x better of a part
As a bloodbath victor myself, I must personally say crack was my favorite part. Once you get it down its just super satisfying and fun to do. I do get that someone who doesn't sweat the game/have at least 144hz will struggle the most with this part, but honestly it was a really good introduction to 240hz ship (since I played bloodbath just after switching from 60hz)
Imo, I love Evasium and Crack’s part. Song is peak here and I love the slow parts and the fast mini ship segment. It’s just difficult enough to be a challenge but not be really annoying. Bloodbath is definitely an extreme I wanna beat some day
Evasium, Crack, and Etzer are probably my 3 favorite BB parts. My MOST favorite would probably be Cra- Etzer, its pretty fun and really consistent. The ufo at the start is a bit hard imo. Sonics ball part is also fun lol btw, Giron’s part is the Wave - The dual cube before Gboy
personal ranking bc ig everyone else is doing it and i beat bb like a week ago S - crack (for me it got super consistent and it was fun for me knowing that if i got past it there was gonna be a real attempt) A - evasium (really easy, great deco not much to say honestly) giron (i really love the gp and it would be s but i died to the dumbass dual once so 😐) B - gboy (the deco and gp are nice, i just had a terrible experience dying to the first blue orb timing twice) vermillion (the ship is very fun and the ball timings are pretty easy, just nice overall) C - etzer (kind boring and the transition from the slow cube into the first ufo click is a little awkward) havok (ive had a lot of dumb deaths at the ball and i died to the inconsistent ufo bc i suck) riot (its literally one click and i didnt die here so idk where to put it) D - weoweoteo (doing this part over and over again was just annoying and super repetitive) asonic (filler filler filler filler) F - michigun (full respect to michi but this part is just way too hard compared to the rest of the level, and it never really got consistent for me)

I died there over 300 times from 0 what do you mean consistent?? istg if that ship portal were rotated 90 degrees (if you fell directly into the portal instead of hitting the side of it, making your momentum going into the ship consistent) that transition would be perfectly fine. great video though, thank you for seeing the bigger picture and not just ranking the parts by how much you struggle with them
You know I had a big dilema when choosing weather to watch this video or to watch Mr. Beast getting exposed, I said "frick it, How-D only uploads once every year so why not."
Personally I've beaten Bloodbath on 144Hz, and I cannot even tell you how many deaths I had at Michigun/Crack's part. Michigun's part is by far the most awkward part, however I'd say Crack is just as bad. Etzer's part on the other hand actually gets surprisingly consistent, but I still did die there a lot since the gameplay is almost as awkward as Michi's. Honestly it's just a matter of passing the first half of the level, then the rest is basically free. I did it as a jump from a low-end insane demon so I had a pretty awful experience with it, but if you've beaten something like Catacylsm it's definitely worth your time!
I don’t think theres a huge difference between the gap from easy insane to bloodbath to easy extreme to bloodbath. It’s probably almost as hard as beating Cataclysm twice in a row.
I love the part for design buf worst is Michigun for gameplay by far. Only part that's hard but only bc it's inconsistent (ufo clciks are so awful) honestly the rest is fine in that part
I beat this a few months ago. Here’s my rankings. S - Crack A - Evasium, Gboy B - Weoweoteo, Vermillion, Etzer, Riot C - Asonic, Havok, Giron D - Michigun F -
This is a level where your opinion will drastically change about parts from when you start it to when you beat it. For example, at first when I was going for this as a new hardest, I, like you, thought that Michigun’s part was pretty good as it was fun to do in runs. But by the time I beat it, I can tell you it is unoqueviqally the worst part in Bloodbath. It is way harder than everything else and is a large reason why lots of people quit the level. It is agonizingly annoying getting to that part and dying to that UFO over and over. It is easily the part that gets the least consistent when going for Bloodbath as a new hardest. Etzer also grows on you a lot, or at least it did for me. After enough practice it was really consistent and got my blood pumping like no other part from 0. Transitioning from that auto right into Etzer is still one of my favorite feelings a level has given me. Also, Asonic gave me cancer. I died there so many times in runs due to the buggy auto, but thankfully never died there from 0. If you ever do beat this, you should consider redoing this video to see if your opinions changed at all, I think that would be pretty interesting!
I'm pretty sure the dual cube is Evasium, specially when considering it has litterally the same deco style as all of Evasium's part, which is weird since Evasium basically stole a bit of Michigan's segment.
Evasium would be an S because his part has good song rep by being very slow and having a grey background when the piano foundation had a bit of trap and bass added.
Cracks part is an easy S tier like what it’s literally like the best playing, looking, and famous part. People use it in thumbnails and embodies bloodbath perfectly. And it’s right on the drop. Easy S
A part being famous being used in thumbnails is not at all a good argument for the part itself being good. And I definitely don't find it to be the best looking, but that's subjective. Crack is easily one of the most controversial parts in Bloodbath, which is not a subjective statement whatsoever. So I feel like B is warranted.
Evasiums part is one of the coolest and most fun parts in Bloodbath when you are not playing from 0. Getting past Michigun and dying to something stupid in Evasium is hell.
as someone that is currently beating bb, my rankings are: 1 evasuim . 2. gboy 3. vermillion 4. havok 5. Crack 6. Etzer 7. Michigun 8. weo 9. Asonic 10. Giron. Ps: Riots part is just a jump so its not really a part,
HowD the reason why some of the layering is messed up is bc customizable layering didn't exist b4 2.0 so if you were to have 2 objects on the same layer they would kind of just fight for viewability so its not really the creators fault that it happens like that

As a bloodbath victor my favorite parts are crack and giron. They're so satisfying to pull off and they look great.Gboy was my least favorite part by far, and asonic and vermillion are both brought down by their shitty ball parts.

S - crack (for me it got super consistent and it was fun for me knowing that if i got past it there was gonna be a real attempt)
A - evasium (really easy, great deco not much to say honestly) giron (i really love the gp and it would be s but i died to the dumbass dual once so 😐)
B - gboy (the deco and gp are nice, i just had a terrible experience dying to the first blue orb timing twice) vermillion (the ship is very fun and the ball timings are pretty easy, just nice overall)
C - etzer (kind boring and the transition from the slow cube into the first ufo click is a little awkward) havok (ive had a lot of dumb deaths at the ball and i died to the inconsistent ufo bc i suck) riot (its literally one click and i didnt die here so idk where to put it)
D - weoweoteo (doing this part over and over again was just annoying and super repetitive) asonic (filler filler filler filler)
F - michigun (full respect to michi but this part is just way too hard compared to the rest of the level, and it never really got consistent for me)

1:36 you have no idea how much it hurts to hear that 😭how high i was as the ship completely depended on how I hit the yellow pad... I died there over 300 times from 0 what do you mean consistent?? istg if that ship portal were rotated 90 degrees (if you fell directly into the portal instead of hitting the side of it, making your momentum going into the ship consistent) that transition would be perfectly fine.

You know I had a big dilema when choosing weather to watch this video or to watch Mr. Beast getting exposed, I said "frick it, How-D only uploads once every year so why not."
Personally I've beaten Bloodbath on 144Hz, and I cannot even tell you how many deaths I had at Michigun/Crack's part. Michigun's part is by far the most awkward part, however I'd say Crack is just as bad. Etzer's part on the other hand actually gets surprisingly consistent, but I still did die there a lot since the gameplay is almost as awkward as Michi's. Honestly it's just a matter of passing the first half of the level, then the rest is basically free.
I did it as a jump from a low-end insane demon so I had a pretty awful experience with it, but if you've beaten something like Catacylsm it's definitely worth your time!
I don’t think theres a huge difference between the gap from easy insane to bloodbath to easy extreme to bloodbath. It’s probably almost as hard as beating Cataclysm twice in a row.
I love the part for design buf worst is Michigun for gameplay by far. Only part that's hard but only bc it's inconsistent (ufo clciks are so awful) honestly the rest is fine in that part

Btw if you’re wondering why the layering is sometimes odd in this level that is because the option to choose layers did not exist in 1.9
This is a level where your opinion will drastically change about parts from when you start it to when you beat it.
For example, at first when I was going for this as a new hardest, I, like you, thought that Michigun’s part was pretty good as it was fun to do in runs. But by the time I beat it, I can tell you it is unoqueviqally the worst part in Bloodbath. It is way harder than everything else and is a large reason why lots of people quit the level. It is agonizingly annoying getting to that part and dying to that UFO over and over. It is easily the part that gets the least consistent when going for Bloodbath as a new hardest.
Etzer also grows on you a lot, or at least it did for me. After enough practice it was really consistent and got my blood pumping like no other part from 0. Transitioning from that auto right into Etzer is still one of my favorite feelings a level has given me.
Also, Asonic gave me cancer. I died there so many times in runs due to the buggy auto, but thankfully never died there from 0.
If you ever do beat this, you should consider redoing this video to see if your opinions changed at all, I think that would be pretty interesting!

I'm pretty sure the dual cube is Evasium, specially when considering it has litterally the same deco style as all of Evasium's part, which is weird since Evasium basically stole a bit of Michigan's segment.

Evasium would be an S because his part has good song rep by being very slow and having a grey background when the piano foundation had a bit of trap and bass added.

Cracks part is an easy S tier like what it’s literally like the best playing, looking, and famous part. People use it in thumbnails and embodies bloodbath perfectly. And it’s right on the drop. Easy S
A part being famous being used in thumbnails is not at all a good argument for the part itself being good. And I definitely don't find it to be the best looking, but that's subjective. Crack is easily one of the most controversial parts in Bloodbath, which is not a subjective statement whatsoever. So I feel like B is warranted.

Evasiums part is one of the coolest and most fun parts in Bloodbath when you are not playing from 0. Getting past Michigun and dying to something stupid in Evasium is hell.
Lol yeah that's fair. I was trying to rank each part individually without factoring in where it is in Bloodbath. But dying there has gotta hurt.

HowD the reason why some of the layering is messed up is bc customizable layering didn't exist b4 2.0 so if you were to have 2 objects on the same layer they would kind of just fight for viewability so its not really the creators fault that it happens like that
