Hello from the UK! I think this came up for me because I've watched some dive talk episodes. These cookies look like the sort of thing you could make with a 3d printer - maybe that might give you some more customisation options? Making useful things with one is how I justified mine to the wife anyway! I find cave diving videos really interesting to watch so I'll have a look through your other videos. It's great you've got an activity to do with your son, mine son is five and just getting old enough for us to start doing things together. All the best and good luck with the channel, David
Thank you so much David! Sharing your time with us means the world. I think there is definitely some potential for 3D printing something like these. That might even afford an opportunity to install stainless steel springs. The possibilities are endless. It really is a blessing to get to share these experiences with my son. It’s such a wonderful bonding experience. I don’t know if anything could have matched cave diving together. It has truly changed our family in all the best ways.
I just finished intro. I’ve got my cookies and arrows on a bungee over my primary. I tried the cookie holder initially, but personally like one less thing hanging off the d-ring. Installation speed of the bag clips is pretty neat. How are the springs holding up over time?
The ones we have have been great. Gus and Woody from Dive Talk also use them. The brand may vary but they are basically all from Amazon and are among the most affordable options.

One more point…. As an Intro diver, we are not supposed to be using navigation, however, having these with you is a must for unforeseen circumstances.
@@FoundInTheRiverAndCaves we used cookies and arrows in my course to mark primary primary reel and lost line/buddy drills.
@@Chogogo717 same here and I always carry mine for those reasons. Just avoid jumps for now. 😁
@@FoundInTheRiverAndCaves definitely.
Very informative Mark!! I coulda easily cleared and ducked under the line 😆😆
Yes! Yes you could! And then unload a clip into a cave monster.
