- A demo of some great voices of Roland XP50 Factory Bank C - Cinematic, Dark, Obscure and Special Effects.
There is hardly a keyboard today with this depth of sound.
I own this keyboard since 1995 and I always took great care of him.
Love my XP50, never get rid of it. All 4 expansion slots full. I brought this in 1995, apart from a new battery. Still going strong 🎹😎🐾
I loved mine... The only synth or synth workstation I ever purchased brand new... That was in 1995 when it came out... Unfortunately, I had to sell it 7 years later... I miss it... Possibly in the future, I'll find another in decent condition...
Was my first workstation.❤. 1995.
XP 50 fantastic workstation ;)
Hola !
Saludos ! 🙋♂️
About Roland synthesisers around this time, kind of pads, it sounds Were all very interesting, but lacked the definition which the LA synthesis of the D50 used to provide. the XP series sounds were acoustically realistic in terms of rendering, but the quality of output was always muddy and grainy
@@hermeslord - What got me to purchase one in 1995 was my experiences with the JV-1080 "Super JV Module" that came out the year before... After working with one in a studio, and then finding out that the yet-to-be-released XP-50 Music Workstation was essentialy a JV-1080 with keys and a built-in Super MRC Sequencer, I HAD to have one! I never regretted it!
Hello ! Very good! I have a very important question for me, how does XP50 work with Logic ProX, that is, I have some tracs with midi in my DAW, I want to send them by midi to XP50, which plays it through its sound and through the audio output, send it to the interface and record it. in my DAW. Is it possible with this model?
Greetings ! 🙋♂️
Hello, thank you! Yes, I think it is possible, you will have to use a USB MIDI to MIDI DIN 5-pin interface. Remember that the XP50 does not have USB MIDI or an audio interface.
@ -Thank you for your answer. Are you sure or do you hope so, I need to be sure.
hello, please help me, in my church we have that same piano, I have it connected L/m for now. But I have problems with the gain of the piano , it is very weak and I do not know if it is something directly from the piano or that it is defective .
Hello, thanks for the comments. First I would do a test, connect another keyboard to this mono cable to see if the volume remains low, if yes the problem could be in the cable, the cable connector or the mixer/amplifier. If everything is ok, the problem really is in the XP50, due to the age of the keyboard the electrolytic capacitors on the electronic board deteriorate and lose capacity, in this case you will have to send the keyboard to an electronics technician to replace all the electrolytic capacitors on the motherboard. This happened to my XP and I replaced the capacitors and it worked great. There are some videos on RUclips showing how to do it. Good luck.
@musichobby2198 ok thank you. I am connecting directly to the mixer and it does not enter strongly. so it means that it is mandatory to use an amp to be able to use it?
