    I don't believe the plates should be at different heights in the front and back. Front plate should ride just about even with the back plate top to top. You want to stop front or rear penetration of vitals. Looks pretty nice compared to the K19 which was pretty good, but pretty bulky. Nice work on the video!

      I personally think it’s more comfortable, and the K-Zero was designed that way, you should try it if you ever get the chance

      Plates need to be offset to protect vitals. Your opinion doesn’t matter.

      It is designed to ride at different heights.

      @@danielmachado45 ordering my k0 and pouches soon actually, then the plates later ( cuz I’m broke and I already have steels ) good to know they mate up well. You would be suprised of the lack of info on that pouch. Just stumbled across this vid

    What brand side plate pouch are you running? Can’t seem to find the proper 6x8 plate bags.

      Standard army issue, try looking up gen 4 iotv. They sell them at the army surplus store next to my base. If you can’t find them hit me up and I can mail you a set

    Have you looked at the micro map? And would you consider the micro map?

    How does the carrier and cummerbund fit with layered clothing? I would need a medium but I thought about if I wore a soft shell or something similar. I would also be wearing side plates occasionally. Thanks.

    • @danielmachado45
      @danielmachado45  5 месяцев назад +1

      Definitely get the large cummerbund, it’s a tight fit with side plates on medium and I wasn’t really layered up using it in the field

      Multicam pattern is the official Multicam so it doesn’t reflect but here’s a video from combat arms showing it in action.

    What is you job? What is your use of all this? A standalone backpack is way more useful than a "fixed" back plate pack ,in any conditions

      He’s a company RTO

    • @danielmachado45
      @danielmachado45  5 месяцев назад +1

      I’m 11B (infantry) company level rto, I got the bag to use in 12-24 hour mission where I don’t need anything but my radios, as always its mission dependent. Something that most people don’t understand is how heavy a backpack with radio equipment can be, and that having something that can attach directly to your plate carrier to take the weight off your arms and shoulders from backpack straps is amazing. If you like your arms losing circulation even with constant adjustment of your straps (which takes your focus off the mission at hand) then by all means keep thinking a standalone backpack is the most useful in any situation. Clearly you haven’t experienced the things myself and the people who designed this bag have but hopefully my answer will shed some light and let you realize there’s much more that goes into this than you thought, in every condition.
