This is the first time I've seen Mahira like this. It was like she was ready, ready to share her story. She shared so openly. So raw, unfiltered and beautiful. We love you Mahira!
Love u Mahira! Sending prayers and so positive energy ur way. Dealt with the worst type of depression for years and hv been on pills for more then 10 years. But I can’t find a single Phychologist or psychiatrist that would get me off or give me the kind of sessions I think a pro should! Please tell me who to go to in Lahore? Hugsss
She’s really good at speaking. Her storytelling is amazing. Calling her mother gorgeous, a dreamer, romantic, nice, looking at life with rose tinted glasses… ahhhh, love how she describes things. ♥️
@@Salmanaseh I run out of words too, quite a lot actually. I have so much brain fog, so I guess anyone better than me at speaking will be noticeable to me 😂
On the off chance that you’re reading this Mahira, I can’t thank you enough for opening up on your journey with mental health. Depression is a beast, and it helps to know there’s no shame in being vulnerable. Thank you for being a glimmer of hope for so many ❤
She is not being vulnerable, she has hid a lot and does not show the full picture. Always a victim card with people like this. There is very much so a lot of alcohol and drugs involved in her lifestyle including abuse in partnerships. Her child goes to school with mine and we see it all unfolding. I only wish our celebrities especially the ones who are our representation would be honest to their fan base.
@@SameeraJunaidI have always felt that she lies a lot in interviews. Hopefully, her son is being raised in a good environment. From what I can gauge from this interview, her child has seen everything since he was 2 years old, which is quite young.
@@SameeraJunaidI agree with you and your analysis is spot on but this abuse in relationship and drugs doesn’t sit with me. She smokes but not drugs and she has a partner for a long time along with an amazing support system which is very helpful. So the point is there is no abuse in her relationships.
@@nabiharaissince her child goes to the same school as Mahira’s son, maybe she knows something that we don’t. Honestly, it’s not uncommon to take drugs in the entertainment industry.
@@SameeraJunaidyou sound like the typical school gossiping mum! maybe your life is so lacklustre that you get high on slagging others! Whether she takes drugs, alcohol or not is not your business, you are not paying for her, and nor her sons upkeep! No wonder independent women in your country have such a difficult time surviving with little petty women like you waiting to cut them down!
What a pure soul mannn...the way she still discusses her ex husband and ex inlaws with sooo much love and respect is something sooo rare to see nowadays....tells what a women she is🥺🥹
Honestly this is one of the best podcasts ever. Fariha did exceptionally well. She listened, didn't interrupt, didn't cut her guest off and look how she made her guest so comfortable that she shared her soul's pain with us. Thank you mahira for your excellent sharing

This was such a delight! Been wanting to hear MK on a podcast forever! Thank you, Mahira, for sharing your life story and struggle with depression. It was inspiring and fun to hear about your teenage journey and how that honed your work ethics. We know that you usually don't open up on personal struggles, therefore, we understand how hard it is to be vulnerable in front of the world, yet you did it with purity and earnestly. You offered hope and faith to those who are going through depression and may find it hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Anti-depressants can have terrible withdrawal symptoms; I wish we could have alternative options to manage our symptoms. As a MK fan and well wisher, it wasn't easy to hear you talk about these things; our heart goes out to you for all those times when you were in pain but put up a brave front in public. You don't stop being kind despite everything you went through and the scrutiny, even when it gets exhausting. And, that's what sets you apart from everyone else, and that's why God has blessed you with so much success because you always wish well and do not hurt others. You are a rare human being! We love you and always pray for you! May Allah SWT make things easy for you, and may you continue entertaining us for years, IA. On a side note, you are a very good storyteller who always looks ethereal and stunning! mA. ☺🌻☺

I usually never take out the time to write a comment but Mahira khan is the only woman i could listen to for 2 uninterrupted hours straight. This made me feel inspired. It made me cry and inevitably just give her a hug and have a good conversation with her. That's the dream.
I’ve heard Many celebrities talk about mental illnesses & their mental health.. they talk about the dark place , the therapy, which is sort of an umbrella term and when they say it, the word sounds glamorous & elite & that’s it. I get part of why they don’t want to get into the details, maybe it’s triggering to them or maybe they’re afraid of being labelled as unstable. But Mahira has got to be the only celebrity who in my opinion has touched base on how messy & ugly depression is, or how daunting it is to find the right therapist for you and more importantly how the anti depressants affect your mood, and you develop a love-hate relationship with the treatment. She literally named her diagnosis as given to her by her therapist, which I think is super brave. Many people won’t talk about it. This will give strength to those suffering in silence to go out and get help. That it is okay to talk about it with your people. Panic attack/disorder, anxiety, depression are all treatable symptoms and one should never hesitate to take help. I’ve been there and I could relate to everything she experienced.
A honest and brave podcast… one could see Mahira hesitate before sharing her mental health struggle…. Wow thanks Mahira for bringing this up! Mental health is a real illness that needs to be treated just like physical illness! Such a refreshing podcast . The podcaster is connecting at a familiar & more importantly at such a human level . Mahira is such a beautiful soul . A strong woman who depends on no one but herself but who’s so self aware . Much love from 🇮🇳
I am so proud of you Mahira for talking about mental health. I am a psychiatrist in US and there were 2 murder suicides with in a week in our city. One of them was a Muslim family. I see so much stigma around seeking help for mental health issues. You are the ray of hope for killing the stigma and to bring courage for people who are struggling with depression and anxiety. I thank you as a professional. Recently Ivanka Trump talked about postpartum depression and Michelle Obama talked about her depression. You have taken a big step 👏🏼❤️💕
Thank you Mahira for being so real. U don’t even realize how much ur helping women who also faced anxiety living normal lives. If a star like u can have it and face it with so much grace, so can we 👍 u have done so much nayki by being honest to us, thank you may Allah be with u always ❤
Sometimes its like the interviewer is not connecting with what the other person is talking about but i just loved the way Feeha hasn’t just connected with MK but also consoled her, shows her the true light where she felt low, all the praises and alot more. Feeha 🫶 Mahira❤️
This is the first interview of Mahira's that I've enjoyed watching. She has been open and genuine and she has said it all. That has humanized her for everyone. Thank you for sharing everything sooo much from your heart.
Most amazing beautiful interview ever. Mahira is so down to earth and grounded. Talking about mental health, ups and downs in courageous in spite of knowing that audience will criticise and troll her.
Even if she had said something negative about him Its not your place to talk about or give opinion on it You know nothing about what she went through in that marriage
Its so magical listening to her and she knows how to gather attention when she's talking. Really like how she keeps herself around people (which says a lot about her personality throughout as well) what a genuine human being 🙌
1:07:00 omg I love that. I am a british pakistani care assistant and I have thought I wonder how people cope in Pakistan. It is not easy to look after an old person and work and look after your kids. So many old people aren't treated well by their own families so I wonder how people cope when it isn't as common in Pakistan. Some people face abuse at the hands of their own children and family. Great initiative on recognising this issue on Mahira Khans part ❤
Mahira and i are the same age and as an indian..we always knew living in Europe Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan are famous household names of Pakista. Loved her story and her honesty...She is a living legend and i enjoy her work till date! Love and blessings for her and her family! Keep going Mahira! You are goood the way you are
Mahira I love you so much. Thank you for revealing your struggle with depression. It makes me feel less alone. You are a gem, I have always loved you and always will. You are a light, pure pure light.
She's just a authentic & admirable & it's like a therapy to listen to her. The more Iisten to her & see her the more I admire & respect her. An ideal person such an inspiration. She's truly the biggest superstar of this generation ❤
Yes we all love Mahira khan ❤ but i have to stop the interview mid way to praise Frieha how she is holding conversation with empathy and kindness. No cutting conversation of guest, No stupid questions, not getting personal or any of sort. Love it ❤ Thankyou
Fell in love with every single element of this podcast - from the host's deep understanding to the guest's eloquent and heartfelt sharing of their amazing journey.
I've watched a full podcast... You're such a strong & never giving up,kind & humble woman...What a great storyteller...I can understand every word you said...Lots of prayers for uh...Stay just the way you are...Allah is always with you ❤ P.S: I started liking you since bol & humsafar & than i've watched all ur dramas...& my friends used to tell me you look a bit like mahira khan so it was a compliment for me❤️
It takes a lot of courage to open up about your struggles and being her fan for the last 12 years this is the first time I’m seeing her so unfiltered. It shows somewhere she is healing and I love that she has her people who support and love her unconditionally 💗 Mahira you are and you will always be asmaan ka sab se roshan aur chamakta sitara
I remember meeting you in mumbai at zara and for the 19 year old me that was my dream come true ! You were and still are my fav Pakistani actress and you will be ❤ only love and light to you ❤
I've learned so many things from this podcast. Mahira has taught me to dream big and to believe in myself. Her story is so inspiring how she started working in a young age and all the hardship and accomplishments she had are incredible. I tried at the end of it when she spoke about her nanis story. May Allah grant her Jannah. Mahira is a strong woman may Allah bless her.
You both did very well in that show, which was amazing to listen to. Both of you were so mature, sensible, and well-mannered. Mahira deserves all the best things in her life; she's the most down-to-earth person I've ever seen. Everything she does always seems so classic, and that show was literally worth watching. ❤❤❤
I love her so much; I can listen to her talk for as long as possible. I cried, smiled, and was in awe at how can someone be so beautiful yet attractive and just adorable! A true superstar. Thank you, Feeha, for doing this interview 💓
I love Mahira, she has a very strong Aura but Fareeha has amazed me. After watching this podcast, I can say Fareeha has done an excellent job. The way you conducted the podcast is superb…you rock
Great interview and it’s good that figure like Mahira is talking about mental health. It’s really time that people should realize that depression is just like any other illness and there is no harm in getting it treated
A very engaging and eloquent guest on this podcast I have always been a fan and think Mahira is a wonderful actress and loved all her work but today my respect for her has increased manyfold by such a brutally honest account of life’s ups and downs . I feel she has touched on such an important topic of mental illness which is such a taboo in our culture so talking about it and admitting her struggle with it must have been a relief for so many woman and such a great help in encouraging women to get help and support. What an amazing and kind woman you are Mahira Khan whilst all the time as vulnerable as any woman . I look forward to your involvement in the causes that you mentioned that are dear to your heart You will surely make a difference .
Her childhood story of big loving family n dad n mum relationship and her wanting to work so hard but not wanting to go back to that lovely cocoon she had come from Doesn't add up at all. Seems that she had created in her mind a picture of a perfect family, which is so sad because no one needs to judge her
Absolutely captivating and lovely interview with the beautiful soul inside out! Just ❤️ Mahira for being so transparent and humble! Much love n prayers for her wellbeing.
Good show.. 👏👏 just a piece of advice to the editors that please make chapters so it’s easy to locate the topic what Fariha talking to the guests .. thanks so much 🙏
Two powerful women, looking absolutely stunning. Mahira is such a nice person. She us beautiful inside and out. She may have been lucky with her looks and personality to achieve what she has but she should be proud of it that Allah has blessed her with these. She has had her own shared of struggles through life which i can relate with having moved abroad at a young age ( older than her). Life is daunting when you suddenly move out of a protective environment. She is such a role model for young and older girls. More power to you Mahira. ♥️

She is so old school🫶🏽
I love it 💌
This is the first interview of Mahira's that I've enjoyed watching.
I dont know why I cried watching this - thanks for putting this up. Mahira is so pure and honest.
I love how she's being respectful towards her ex and not presenting him as a villian.
Even if she had said something negative about him Its not your place to talk about or give opinion on it You know nothing about what she went through in that marriage
Mahira is pure love❤.she is unadulterated.great human being.
Wonderful interview! So honest and heartfelt. Great to see her break the stigma and speak about her mental health struggles. Kudos!
She is really so good in speaking and so down to earth and well mannered don’t know why people talk negative about her All the best for future
She’s such a good human. May god bless her with the best of everything in her life
Yes we all love Mahira khan ❤ but i have to stop the interview mid way to praise Frieha how she is holding conversation with empathy and kindness. No cutting conversation of guest, No stupid questions, not getting personal or any of sort. Love it ❤ Thankyou
Fell in love with every single element of this podcast - from the host's deep understanding to the guest's eloquent and heartfelt sharing of their amazing journey.
Thank you for voicing your most vulnerable side. It takes alot for a person at your position to do that. I feel seen and validated.
This was so heart touching and I feel so normal now after hearing her story unfiltered Thankyou Mahira for opening up it means the world
I've watched a full podcast... You're such a strong & never giving up,kind & humble woman...What a great storyteller...I can understand every word you said...Lots of prayers for uh...Stay just the way you are...Allah is always with you ❤

I can listen to her all day. Such a graceful, poised and a dignified woman! More power to you Mahira!!!❤️
What a woman she is❤
A reason we love her ❤
It takes a lot of courage to open up about your struggles and being her fan for the last 12 years this is the first time I’m seeing her so unfiltered.

She is so so pretty! 😍🥹
Why would allah bless her with haram success??? Please leave islam out of this. She does haram and promotes haram
Uff mahira, no actress in the world can even touch ur grace, Intellect and mostly ur kind heart and mind ❤

"Jo mera he woh mera hi rahega" was one of the best dialogue ever played by any female actress in Asia. Love Mahira
One of the best interviews. I guess the only one where she's so open about herself and her life! ❤❤❤
She's so similar to me. So so relatable. The thing she mentioned about comfort and her people. It hit me so much
It takes a lot of courage to talk about all that you did knowing the next day headlines will be about this... I wish you strength love and light in your life.. take care!!!

She is thorough gentle lady...n she is icon of Pakistan's Drama n film industry
It was a really good podcast! For the first time I feel Mahira was her truest self. She’s always herself but this was real.
Mahira is pure love and her story telling is amazing. I wish to be her friend and listen to her all day long. Thank god she would go back to where Frieha would cut her off and rush her but she has that thairav…❤❤
Such a strong beautiful humble personality. When our celebrities show their struggles with the wins they give all of their audience so much hope 💕
