Great reaction. You're not alone, they have enchanted all of us in exactly the same way. 'The One' is their love letter to the fans (who they also named 'The One').❤ This was the original half Japanese/English version. As they toured the world they were touched by how the fans had been learning the Japanese lyrics to their songs so they could sing along - they wanted to show their appreciation and to reciprocate, so they challenged themselves to learn a song completely in English. The full English version of 'The One' was on the international release of the album.
Even if this song is surely not my favorite, the message always gets me emotiona. "Whenever we are on your side. Remember, always on your side, forever"
Welcome to "THE ONE". Now there´s no way back to your former self🤣 Just kidding, a little bit. I don´t know if they will change your life, but it could happen! They were compared to the sirens of Greek mythology quite a few times 😄 But there´s a difference: these "sirens" LOVE the people they draw into their mesmerizing performances 😉 Ok, you could say: well, that´s all just for the show. A mask. I say, that, if you´re not a "neurotypical" human of superhuman mental strength, you can´t do that for 14 (!) years without changing anything to the worse, unnoticed by yourself, or without accidentally dropping your "mask" on occasion. They do this for 14 years, and counting. And obviously they still LOVE their crowds with the same intensity. These ladies (girls back then) are one of a kind. Never heard of anything like them, and never witnessed such a thing until I learned about them. And don´t forget this AMAZING show they put on at Yokohama Arena in 2015 (I f*ng LOVE that concert!!! Not just for the HUGE nod to Iron Maiden! 😄). They went out, right into and above the crowd, standing in a hovering tetraeder, which is running on a track system bolted to the roof, singing a kind of love letter to ALL of their fans in this arena and all over the world. If that´s not true, platonic love (in BOTH ways!), I don´t know what else could be.
