I keep calling her Warbirb. Also on one memorable occasion Darrel Canvers. Patrick is clearly a man of impeccable taste and judgement, I'm extremely excited for this figure too. Mine should be shipping later this week hopefully. "Imagine being so passionate about a woman" I loled. Great review!
Hello .. Enemy here ;) This character is Ms. Marvel, full stop. That’s who she was when I was reading comics & name change was dumb. This figure was difficult to pre order & now difficult to find in store. I refuse to jump through hoops to get any figures that should readily available to collectors willing to buy. I’m fine with not getting her if I can’t find her at regular cost online somewhere because she’s flawed. Carol Danvers in Marvel Comics is basically 6 foot, one of the taller gals. Taller than Widow, Wasp, Wanda, etc. This sculpt has her SMALL. … S-M-ALL … not accurate. I’m complaining a bit because Hasbro can’t be consistent. Well they are consistently problematic. Rant over. Oof!
You're absolutely right about Hasbro not being consistent. So obvious when you compare different figures - I was just looking at the Black Series Droideka and it also is so small?! I didn't know Carol was supposed to be six feet, this figure for sure should be taller.
@@weekly_allowance Yep, it’s a real problem if they don’t scale their figures correct. It’s agitating to add stuff to collection that’s wrong & knowing you likely won’t get another version for a long time if ever again.
As a professional illustrator and designer myself I TOTALLY share your pet peeve about that generic “powers” hand. It’s soooo played out. Like it was tired and should’ve been REtired by 1992! I don’t liked it as the go to for power hands and it’s boring as any hand-toward-the-viewer gesture… When people learn to draw comics it’s like that’s all they want to draw. Ugh… you superheroes with all your powers except the power to bend your dang fingers!
She's a real woman TO ME
You have to live your truth!

I like to get my digs in where I can 😂
Great review, so many lols especially the target guy 😂 And I can totally see Leliana from Dragon Age, hmm..
He was just excited! 😄 And yeah! That head would be great for a Leliana. I wonder if anyone will ever make Dragon Age figures
Love that figure I got her thankfully
Glad you were able to snag her!
It’s well designed rendition I think.
Agree!
i finally found an action figure female reviewer so happy 😢
That's me!
The articulation is good. I am not a comic reader but this is cool.
Me neither, but I like the design!
Hello 💐🤓 Ms. Marvel rules(War Bird sucked as a name I thought back then. This was my Girl! Ms. Marvel! Powerful and beautiful hero & Avenger✨✨✨🙌🏾
Warbird is kind of hard to say, you have to make too many weird mouth shapes to pronounce it right!

Sad they made a 5'11 character 5'6 tall. I hope Mafex make one.

Thank you! Someone else who shares my peeve. There are dozens of us!
