    The two songs in this video are masterpieces. Also the motorway in its kind of road construction. When I drive on motorways here in Germany listen to the two songs too.

    This Spanish motorway is very well built indeed... perfect... I've been watching this video loads of time since its upload... and songs chosen are stunning! I can see myself travelling across this road and having these songs as soundtrack.

      As an active trucker I can tell you there are a lot of European countries, where cars need not paying tool, and the motorways still have guards. Trucks are paying toll in the most European countries for a couple of years. But the guards were standard years before trucks had to pay toll. These guards have nothing to do with road toll. They are SAFETY standard all over Europe

    I love the fact that the majority of drivers in Europe remain almost always to the right lane when they are not passing, in the US most drivers are idiots who like to hog the left lane when they are not passing and enjoy blocking traffic.

    Spanish Highways are perhaps the best in Europe, this is what explain the financial crisis in this country. It is so brand new that you can eat on it ! the fact is that they have A7 (free) where people can drive just near the AP 7 wich is not free (AP means "Autopista de Peaje") So, saying that we can understand why most of spanish don't take the AP

    • @EuropeanRoads
      @EuropeanRoads  9 лет назад +16

      ***** It is a toll road, paid for by motorists. It is built for summer traffic, which is very heavy. This was filmed on a Sunday. Normally there are much more trucks.

    • @MTobias

      European Roads I get that, but those 8 lane sections still do seem a bit overkill to me

    • @EuropeanRoads
      @EuropeanRoads  9 лет назад +8

      ***** Eight lanes is indeed a bit overkill. On the other hand, the tolls are very high (higher than in France, € 14.35 from La Jonquera to Granollers), so you can expect some investment in return :) I found AP-7 north of Barcelona to be in better condition than south of Barcelona to Valencia. Not that it's bad, but north of Barcelona is just excellent.

    • @lebigbgdu6933

    • @HopoBcn
      @HopoBcn 8 лет назад +9

      It might seem overkill to you but since AP-7 it's the only feasible route from Barcelona to France it holds a lot of traffic. Plus it serves Industrial zones that produce a lot of traffic in terms of trucks.
