Y'all are shipping Dororo and Hyakkimaru but like you don't consider that... Dororo is Trans... And you all should respect that, is not only the age gap but he was raised as a boy and he believes he is.
You can make a case for Dororo being trans in the original manga, especially since that Dororo rejects being a female altogether (although sequels and spin-offs typically depict her as feminine), but not so much with the 2019 one. Outside of headcanons, there's not nearly enough to say that 2019 Dororo presents herself as a boy to most people for anything more than safety reasons. She never said she believes she's a boy.
