  • At the request of the user ‪@Jahang89‬, here's a guide to making a Shortcut that will (almost) automatically move ZIP files and extract the contents for you.

Well first of all welcome to the Apple world, happy to help! I honestly would need to make a guide specifically for iPad, it works a little differently than on Mac OS. But with a little time I could see what I can do.

Do you know any in-depth tutorials for the Shortcuts app? While there are many resources online explaining the basics like what it is, how to download or share one, and the necessity of installing shortcuts, I'm looking for a more advanced guide. Specifically, I'd like some insights into the inputs and outputs of actions, beyond just dealing with simple text. For instance, my camera captures both high-res RAW and low-res JPG images in two separate folders. I want to streamline my workflow by reviewing and deleting unnecessary JPGs (as they load faster) on iPhone/iPad and then running a shortcut to swiftly remove RAW files without corresponding JPGs (e.g., abcd.jpg -> abcd.raw) to free up space. Do you think this is achievable?

I believe it should be possible, though it would probably take me a little longer than others to figure out. It also might be more flexible on the Mac than on iOS, but I think it might still be possible.
As far as guides, Matthew Cassinelli. He's not as active as he used to be, but he's been one of the main faces of Shortcuts and getting the most out of the app:
      YT Channel - www.youtube.com/@MatthewCassinelli/featured
      Shortcuts Catalog - matthewcassinelli.com/
MacStories made a catalog with Federico Viticci - www.macstories.net/shortcuts/
Lastly the Shortcuts subreddit is actually a very good and helpful resource. I've used them before - www.reddit.com/r/shortcuts/
These might not always get your the super-technical specifications, save for perhaps the subreddit, but these could give you a good jumping off point. Are you using a SD Card/Camera adapter into your iDevice to see the 2 folders and the photos or a different method?

What happens when you search for "Repeat for Each" in the actions menu on the right?
