Anyone who hasnt tried or dislikes kombucha, the first time I drank it, it tasted like rotten tea mixed with vinegar. I hated it. But I kept drinking it. Particularly GT's, which does tend to be rather strong (but is the closest thing to home brew you can buy) . About a week later I was watching a movie and realized I was suddenly craving kombucha. I got some, and it was still a bit harsh but it was almost as if my body was begging for it. Kombucha has really helped me.
I’ve been struggling with chronic intestinal problems that cause me to vomit 5-8x per day whether I eat or not. I stumbled upon kombucha at a state fair and felt a little weird after hearing what it was but nevertheless I had already finished half the drink and wasn’t going to stop there. Needless to say, after finishing the beverage I was able to make it that entire day (and the following day) without any vomiting and now I absolutely swear by it. If you have ANY gastrointestinal issues at all please give kombucha a shot (no matter how weird it sounds.)
Obviously it’s been a few months now and I drink kombucha religiously and all of my vomiting problems have completed subsided. No medications helped in any way shape or form and I’m finally back to being healthy. The 180° it helped me achieve on my health has put a lot of people I know onto it as well and they love it

I love ginger because of its benefits for me and I love Kirklands ginger lemonade kombucha. Doesn’t taste the sweetest but the effects were the strongest I’ve had from any brand: no cramps from period, cleared glowing skin, more energy no need for caffeine. And idk if those are from ginger juice or kombucha but it’s powerful
I know this is only anectotal, but I don't have as many allergic breakouts when drinking kombucha regularly. I think it strengthens my gut health and that in turn controls candida overgrowth. I have been doing different probiotics since January . I started it as a way to secure food for my family because of covids affects on distribution and supply lines. It also was a way to save money at the store. As of about 3 months ago I found out about komboocha and it's range of probiotics and how easy it is to make. About 6 months ago I found out that probiotics might be the only effective treatment option for a autoimmune disease I was diagnosed with about 4 years ago. Looking back, I've showed signs as early as 6 yrs old (I'm 35 now). The symptoms had completely debilitated me. I was suffering. The disease causes my immune system to launch a targeted attack on thyriod cells in my body. The disease if not properly treated can become lethal. The thyroid is as much a major control center of the body as tge petuetary gland. If either are not working right, it causes a domino effect that often becomes lethal. Aundre tge giant died from complications from a messed up petuetary gland. The standard treatment available for my condition is to treat the thyriod to attempt to slow down the deterioration, not treat the over active immune response. Studies show that tge standard treatment doesn't work. It certainly wasn't helping me. I had to try something. I'm a disabled single mom. I've got a child who depends on me. I can't care for him if I can't function or I'm dead. So I did my research and found a alternative. It was slowly improving my health, but it was working. It really went into overdrive when I added komboocha to the mix. I'm not cured, nor am I in remission ( though remission is a future possibility according to my research). I am doing loads better. My symptoms are mostly managed which is a vast improvement. I do other probiotics as well, like fermented veggies, yogurt, sour cream, vinigars, gingerbug based sodas, and switchel is the newest addition. I also make home made cultured butter and buttermilk. I'm working on cheese making, but haven't gotten it right yet. I also make yeast bread and sourdough including making the yeast. I've made muffins and English muffins with this knowledge. I haven't figured out how to make bagles or cakes yet, but pankcakes and flatbreads that rise like naan are easy enough. The breads loose the probiotics in the cooking process, but the nutrients are more easily absorbed because of the process. I also use whole grain or sprouted whole grain flour. I won't say komboocha or other probiotics will be as good for others as it was for me. But I'm not gonna hide that it can be a lifesaver for some people like it was for me. I have a appt with my Dr in a couple of days, and I included needing blood tests run and why. I want evidence of improvement, as well as to know what else I might need to do to continue to improve my health. Blood tests will give more comprehensive results, and provide more answers.

This is like earth beer. Very good to drink 20 oz every sunday night once you adjust to it. Some flavors are amazing. Most dont taste that good. But it will make you feel amazing! After 30 day intensive, all you need is a little once a week.
Isn't the most important thing to check if it is pasteurized? A lot of the ready to drink ones are, which means the good bacteria is destroyed during this heat-process. That's why I make my own kombucha with bacteria that are still alive.
Matthias that’s literally what people call a guy’s asshole, so be careful the way you say it lmao, if you say “I need to go get some booch” to a group of teens they’re gonna think you’re talking about boy Coochie boochi booch bussy
Kombucha isn't typically 1-3% alcohol. Anything above 0.5% alcohol would be age restricted in the US. I've heard the alcohol levels are usually on a par with fruit juice (i.e. negligible), though it will depend on the brewing process.
“(Health-ade) in the flavor pink lady apple” is far my favorite so far! Tastes kinda similar to a sprite like taste, but also with a little apple cider vinegar taste. Definitely the one to try if you’re not sure what to get at first
Kombucha is the healthiest beverage option aside from water and green tea. Of course. It has sugar and the recommendation of 12 oz/day is a very good ballpark for a male of average weight and height. In spite of the sugar (which is a toxin equivalent to ethanol) the relatively low content as well as the presence of probiotics and particularly the organic acids, offsets the deleterious effects of the moderate sugar content at rhe recommended consumption. Btw, the more sour the kombucha the more sugar has been converted to ethanol and the more of that ethanol has been subsequently converted to organic acids. This means that, as a rule of thumb, the more sour the more positive the health benefits (when consumed in moderation of course)
I am completely addicted to this stuff. I buy 4 bottles of it at a time, 2 Ginger and 2 golden pineapple. I get the synergy brand. it has replaced soda for me.
Skip the unending, useless jokes and get the summary: As of the recording of this video, there have been no clinical studies on humans consuming kombucha, only animals, and it appears to improve animal health. More research needs to be done before we can definitely claim that kombucha is either good or bad for humans.
YET, at the same time, quantum physics has proven we are holograms, so our imagery of what we THINK it does for us is the most important. Thoughts ARE images, SO this is why placebos work. AND she is very cute and funny you grouch ! AND big pharma is constantly testing animals/rats to see the effects on US. NOT even mentioning all those testing centers where people get paid to take those awful drugs, etc. which they believe may harm them, so the tests are f****d up anyway. Belief is the deciding factor always, but big pharma doesn't want ANYONE to know that.
@@hummingbirdbumblebee4618 You know, I used to think the same thing. But to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's views or by trying to make it objectified and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say?
I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I bought it when I took my first sip I was grossed out then I thought about it did my research and I'm almost finished my first bottle
What about Kombucha tea bags? I saw those in the store and wanted to try them since I am not really big on buying pre-bottled things, mostly because of how much plastic they use.
My local shaws has a komboucha tap, they offer glass bottles next to it and then you can take it back and refill it next time! I haven't heard of the tea bags, if you try it let us know how you liked it!
I was actually super shocked to still be very much in ketosis after drinking at least 16oz of kombucha a day for a week straight. Mind you, this was my own home brew that I had brewed for around 9 days straight so it was very tangy and a lot of the sugar had been used up. But I’ve still been losing weight, I feel way less bloated, and both my home tests and doctor confirm I’m still very much in ketosis. Which still did shock me quite a bit due to carb count. I’d expect this to be different with store bought kombucha, however.
2 things inaccurate I noticed. Actually there are a lot of beers that go as low as 3% not 4% in the US. Also most Kombucha sold in the market today is no more than 0.5% abv as manufacturers test for alcohol content to keep it out of the liquor laws. Of course, homemade or unregulated Kombucha is another story.
You’ve got great energy with tons of helpful information. I can’t thank you enough for sharing all of this. I look forward to seeing your other videos.
just heard about kombucha, put on video "oh she's pleasant" something something "ooh! she's upbeat" something something ooh, its fermented tea and sugar so uuugh a sugar wash? something something review what I just saw in my mind uugh is she drunk!??!?! uugh is she the best thing thats happened in muh life? lol j/k excellent video. fun fact, I was young (16) enough to be automatically pardoned before you read this but in costa rica in xmas apples are bought in large quantities. so quite a few were left so I juiced them without washing them. but since later I would become a assured success of this project minded civil engineer I uuugh ...washed my feet with some of it and bottled it covered under my desk for 2 weeks... let me tell you that was some hooutch!! but seriously, keep this upbeat personality and foster it we all need it in these times! kudos
While it is true about acidified foods having the ability to leach chemicals from metals and plastics, it is not true that kombucha must be consumed from a bottle. That is the way we thought about kombucha 10-15 years ago but the category has evolved. Can suppliers thoroughly test any products with the can liners before they will sell to a company, and any canned kombucha company also thoroughly tests their products against liners to ensure there is zero leaching. Many soft drinks have higher total acidity than kombucha and cans also hold Apple Cider Vinegar beverages as well, such as Poppi. Bottles use cap closures which are often not routinely tested for corrosion against kombucha as they are often manufactured for beer. Cans are not only better for the environment, they also greatly help with preserving kombucha. Please choose a brand that scientifically controls the ethanol in their products as no one should be drinking kombucha higher than 0.5% ABV which is the legal limit and alcohol is detrimental to health. Finally, you mention a short ingredient stack and while I normally would agree here, Rowdy Mermaid has several flavors filled with fermented botanicals, herbs, and roots. Thanks for the informative (and funny) video.
"...only been tested on animals" well, people are animals. As for the 1-3% alcohol, any tips for making it more on the 3% range? So far I usually prefer fermented grapes, grains and corn, but I'm willing to expand.
If you want higher alcohol percentage, try hard kombucha. They sell it at health stores like jimbos or Whole Foods. Or you could even find it at vons in the alcohol section. Still has low alcohol content though, usually around 5-10%
It makes me have so much gas it usually kicks in around 10 to 12 hours after drinking it so if I drink at like 10 AM in the morning about 10 PM at a time it’ll start happening was just goes to show you that that’s all in your body and needs to get out
I'd probably advise to stay away from Kombucha if you suffer from GERD, being a carbonated drink all it did was made my GERD worse... where as yogurt with probiotics makes it better for me.
is it bad if i drank 3 bottles today, i mean people say it makes you have to go to the washroom but does not affect me, i just drink it for the taste and the fact that its good for you

Definitely the one to try if you’re not sure what to get at first
Same....
Yes I get the healthade it's so good
drinking this right now as I read this haha!!
If you don’t like taste of it , ginger and lemon is a great mask
That’s my favorite one.
I've started drinking SYNERGY and at first i did't like it, then i fell in love.
I’m drinking that right now! GINGERBERRY flavor
I get the synergy brand. it has replaced soda for me.
try pink lady apple
@@rinihaque2946 I’m not the biggest fan of that one.

I have some kind of virus... Flu or covid... And after drinking half a cup of kombucha, i felt much better. Im still sick but its helping me out..
Came for the kombucha, stayed for the puns 😆
Skip the unending, useless jokes and get the summary: As of the recording of this video, there have been no clinical studies on humans consuming kombucha, only animals, and it appears to improve animal health. More research needs to be done before we can definitely claim that kombucha is either good or bad for humans.
Thanks. I'll give this to my dog!
I'm with you on the useless jokes. Not funny enough to sit through.

0:29 cocaine... one hell of a drug...u trying to hard miss well good
I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I bought it when I took my first sip I was grossed out then I thought about it did my research and I'm almost finished my first bottle
Same here 😅🤣😂
To me it taste like healthy alcohol
What about Kombucha tea bags? I saw those in the store and wanted to try them since I am not really big on buying pre-bottled things, mostly because of how much plastic they use.
My local shaws has a komboucha tap, they offer glass bottles next to it and then you can take it back and refill it next time! I haven't heard of the tea bags, if you try it let us know how you liked it!
@@Basttett what town do you live in?
i only saw kombucha in glass bottles. i get mine from the local market or aldi. walmart started carrying them too.
there is a pilot study in how it improves de glucose levels on diabetic adults (dibetis melitus type 2)
May I ask you for your kombucha recipe? I'd like to start my own brew but I'm scared of putting too much sugar
@@VyNguyen-mw3bf look up ProHome Cooks video he makes it so easy you can't mess it up
2 things inaccurate I noticed. Actually there are a lot of beers that go as low as 3% not 4% in the US. Also most Kombucha sold in the market today is no more than 0.5% abv as manufacturers test for alcohol content to keep it out of the liquor laws. Of course, homemade or unregulated Kombucha is another story.
Her personality is FIRE 🔥
You’ve got great energy with tons of helpful information. I can’t thank you enough for sharing all of this. I look forward to seeing your other videos.
We're so glad you enjoyed this video!
Thank you for making a video about a boring topic entertaining!! Very witty!
GT's Kombucha is life! I drink 4oz every night and go #2 real nice in the morning.
I noticed something similar too.
I like raspberry lemon flavor. Tastes a little like vinegar but good when you get used to it.
I really like kombucha. It’s delicious. I get ones that are organic and low calories.
"I know its tasty, but dont make it rain kombucha in the club".... I had to subscribe!! 🤣.. Great Job!!!
Hello.... Now I have a question? Is it OK to drink kombucha if you have neuropathy pain.
She is very funny. I don’t know how on earth I got here but I am drinking kombucha right now 😂
Most of the kombucha is sold in a clear glass bottle not a dark colored glass bottle. Does this mean the drinks sold in stores can be less effective ?
Kombucha has naturally occuring B12. It's good stuff.
Just found this YT site...
Girl, you are adorable as well as informative, thanks!!
Hi Tracy I was just wondering when should I book the venue for our wedding???
Lively, lovely, alive, great vid, thank you
just heard about kombucha, put on video "oh she's pleasant" something something "ooh! she's upbeat" something something ooh, its fermented tea and sugar so uuugh a sugar wash? something something review what I just saw in my mind uugh is she drunk!??!?! uugh is she the best thing thats happened in muh life? lol j/k excellent video. fun fact, I was young (16) enough to be automatically pardoned before you read this but in costa rica in xmas apples are bought in large quantities. so quite a few were left so I juiced them without washing them. but since later I would become a assured success of this project minded civil engineer I uuugh ...washed my feet with some of it and bottled it covered under my desk for 2 weeks... let me tell you that was some hooutch!! but seriously, keep this upbeat personality and foster it we all need it in these times! kudos
I home brew, and in my opinion it is much better than store bought
Love her. Great delivery and very informative.
Here in NZ kombucha comes in aluminium cans...better than plastic or glass
This host has so much energy & is so adorable. I love it
While it is true about acidified foods having the ability to leach chemicals from metals and plastics, it is not true that kombucha must be consumed from a bottle.
I subscribed solely due to the puns. I love you now lol
Stephaun Lovelace me tooooo 😂😂😂😍
The Puns are Strong in This 1.
lol mee too
Bro 2 seconds in and I’m already cracking up! I love how funny she is 🤣🤣🤣🤣
She is so professional.
"...only been tested on animals" well, people are animals. As for the 1-3% alcohol, any tips for making it more on the 3% range? So far I usually prefer fermented grapes, grains and corn, but I'm willing to expand.
I’m pretty sure what she meant is that it has only been tested on animals, NOT humans. Animal testing results does not always correlate to humans.
If you want higher alcohol percentage, try hard kombucha.
They sell it at health stores like jimbos or Whole Foods. Or you could even find it at vons in the alcohol section.
Still has low alcohol content though, usually around 5-10%

You had me at the first pun😂 I guess you can say it was love at first pun
It makes me have so much gas it usually kicks in around 10 to 12 hours after drinking it so if I drink at like 10 AM in the morning about 10 PM at a time it’ll start happening was just goes to show you that that’s all in your body and needs to get out
i love the spunk. haters gonna hate. she seems like she'd be a fun friend.
Soooo many salty ass people
And I'm officially calling people who say cringe, cringey af
I thought she was great.
I'd probably advise to stay away from Kombucha if you suffer from GERD, being a carbonated drink all it did was made my GERD worse... where as yogurt with probiotics makes it better for me.
is it bad if i drank 3 bottles today, i mean people say it makes you have to go to the washroom but does not affect me, i just drink it for the taste and the fact that its good for you
She so funny - loves the pun for sure and yet very informative
