I’m gonna try and word this question as coherently as possible: is there a way to make a continuously zooming tunnel that eventually goes into a scene reveal? I’m working on a project with an unfolding cube and I have it set up where the bottom face on the inside of the cube is going to be a tunnel. I basically need there to be some kind of continuous zoom in the tunnel until I can have it reveal the next scene for timing purposes. Hopefully that makes sense, lol
Awesome tutorial, loving it so far. Although I need some help because I'm using AE 2020 and I can't seem to make the inner rectangle layer transparent. There's no even track matte pick whip (Which is not a problem though, the only problem is the transparency)

My only comment is that I feel like the explanation goes a bit fast, so unless you are an expert in After Effects, you might find this a bit rushed (I am a motion designer, and I still had to pause the video a couple of times). I'm glad! I have 2 styling tips for you. 1. find styles you like and try to copy them/use them for inspiration (this will help you eventually come up with your own). 2. start learning about how to use layer style in AE...quite a gamechanger that not enough people use/talk about.

@MotionXP When you make your project files, can you please make some previous versions of after effects options available as well. We all cant afford PC's that can run the most recent Adobe suite software. I couldn't follow the later part of this video because i use a backdated AE version. Thanks

Hi, I have a problem at 4:36 . I do no see the gradient fill. When I click on it, I have the option to choose the colors and everything but they don't appear, I do not see any gradient or color appearing.

I believe the expression syntax was updated with newer versions so that is probably the culprit... I can't really help for specifics though. what specifically is not working?

Thanks for the question Faizan! I wish I could answer this for you but the best way to make that decision is to choose based on which one excites you more. There is money and a career for both options so rather pick what you think will bring you the most joy and allow you to create the work you want to create!

Hello brother, but I tried the track mat thing you had done so my black square did not become transparent so please reply my comment.
Try making sure you are pickwhipping from the outer/larger matte to the smaller square and make sure you click the invert checkbox! Let me know if you are still having a problem!

@@Crazy_Graphix Are you sure it's not transparent? Try putting an object behind it...If your AE comp settings have black as the bg colour...you wont see the transparency grid. Also, you can toggle the transparency grid on or off and yours might be off.
