Great video and music as usual...Ahhh those were the days, so many memories, spent a week at the Canmore Nordic centre when I was in the British military getting my ass handed to me up and down those hills cross country skiing. Man it was hard. Also I remember stupidly volunteering to do some Ice climbing near the Three sisters, cant recall exactly were it was but seeing your video and those three peaks brought it all back to me..LOL the most petrifying thing I've ever did. I also spent some quality time with my family at the Kananaskis Inn (Think it was a Best Western) not far from where your video ended. It was a family room with mini Kitchenette availble year round just for Military personell based at CFB Suffield. Great times...Thank you!
+Mountain West Highways yeah the whole Calgary to the BC border is my favourite highway in the country. I could just drive it back and forth all day long :-D
Trans Canada Phil Was out there last summer twice doing the same route, Edmonton, Jasper, Banff and Calgary. Taking my daughter out May long weekend driving same route. Daddy daughter holiday. :-)
Yes there is one in Canmore (the town we pass in this video). Tesla map of supercharger locations: www.teslamotors.com/en_CA/findus#/bounds/70,-50,42,-142,d?search=supercharger&name=Canada&place=canmoreabsupercharger According to that map you should be able to drive between Vancouver BC to Edmonton Alberta and find chargers along the way. You'd have a difficult time going east to Winnipeg though :-) There are also chargers in Southern Ontario.
Very nice! I have to admit I have always wanted to see this part of Canada after I saw a vid going from Canmore to Calgary and I always wanted to stop off at Calaway Park as I love small amusement parks! Great ride! Had to rewrite this when I got the direction wrong- dang brainfarts Great ride! Cannot wait to see more of Canada!
+cjs121675 yes I recall you commenting about that on my original Banff video from 2 years back. I really do want to redo that video because i think my filming techniques have improved a lot since then. This year the big goal for a road I want to get is a good multi-part journey down the Coquihalla Highway in BC.
Very nice! I shall look forward to your future road trips! And yes you have gotten a lot better- I enjoy seeing Canada's highways- as they have a unique charm wherein some highways do not- very nice ride! Cannot wait to see the future and more of Canada!
Your videos are lovely, if you would stop and let us see the views. I have been to Canada 6 times and we never travelled on the main highway , far too busy.
Thanks for the comment. In a few of my newer videos such as the ones in Kootenay National Park I show a bit more roadside views. You’re right, it’s something I want to do more in upcoming videos. I just bought a new car today so I can’t wait to record new ones! 😀
Excellent video as usual. I was there the same day you were; it's a gorgeous place, and I will be back. A bit of a typo at the beginning though. It's "Sulphur Mountain" not "Sulpher Mountain".
Are you the Scott brown the happy hardcore DJ? I'm actually in the middle of working on a road video from Calgary and one of the songs I'm using is Scott Brown - Pilgrim 2000. one of my all time favs.
It's hard to drive long distance in canada because of the high cost of gas and lodging when compared to what americans have to pay. Our high ways don't really cater to long drives as well, scarce for gas stations, motels etc. When i drive from calgary to winnipeg so much time is wasted going through small towns with reduced speed lanes and on the long stretches it doesnt help that you have to contend with speed traps every 30 kms even though you may be the only driver on the road, all adding to additional costs. Might as well just fly.
No I'm from Winnipeg but I drive to Calgary often (I'll be there next month for the Calgary Expo). I just like to drive all around Western Canada often.
I’ve become obsessed with these videos. I really love that you add facts in so you’re not just watching someone drive.
Kyra Hostyn Thanks. I'm heading back on the road next week with plans to record even more. ✌️
I love love loved the landscape
This is my favourite place to drive in the country; near Banff
Amazing video as usual. My dream is to drive on these roads one day :)

Trans Canada Phil I did not :( I was looking forward to it, but unfortunately work changed plans.
Aaahh! Found the video used in your current intro. ;-)
Darth Zombie yup this is the one.
This is somewhat an unrelated question. Have you seen any Tesla superchargers along Trans Canada Highway?

You from Calgary? Gotta love all the good trance and dashcams :)

what is the song called at the end of the video?
Fight The Sunrise - Gareth Emery
The music used is always listed in the end credits of the video.
Wow it is like if it is in New Zealand except the driving is on the right.
Like this
