I can't believe some of the rude comments. Do you realize she has taken her personal time to teach you something? You can't learn something useful in no time at all. Also, look at her, she is doing this with no mirror...of course it won't look perfect, she has no mirror so YOU can see what she is doing. Smh. Thank you for making his video, I learned from it and I appreciate the time and kind heart behind teaching me this.
Agree, ppl can be so evil nasty even with the kindness of ppl. God help us all. What is Jesus thinking of us when we behave worse than an awful predator animal ready to strike at anything that has life. Sad and sick. She precious and beautiful. ❤️
I recently cut my below-the-butt hair to just below my shoulders. I couldn’t stand it anymore. Too much work to wash and rinse and condition and de-tangle. When I got it caught in the dishwasher that was the final straw! I used to wear it in a braid or piled on top of my head. I’m not really sure what to do with it at this length. I think I’ll try these styles. Can you recommend a good hairbrush? I cannot find one. I ordered an expensive boar bristle brush online and it wouldn’t even go through my hair. It was like a baby brush.
Finally! Someone who has FINE hair, rather than THIN hair. Every time I search for "fine hair" tutorials, I get thin hair tutorials. You can have a large mane of hair, and your hair can still be fine. I can see that your hair is fine, so THANK YOU so much for the video!
I know, right? I had the same problem when I first started braiding. And most videos are done on wigs, with super thick hair. It's one of the things that inspired me to make a video in the first place. I hope it helps you!
FINALLY, someone I can totally relate to! My hair is just like yours and you did an AMAZING job, all without a mirror to boot! I have hope! I love the way your hair turned out and you are so pretty!
Love this tutorial and your energy. Both styles looks so feminine and beautiful. I can't believe you did it all with no mirrors till the end. You are a pro! Its very helpful and makes these styles feel accessible and beginner friendly. Thank you!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this video! It's incredibly difficult to find hair tutorials that cater to hair like mine (long, thin, and with a mind of its own). I almost cried happy tears when I saw your hair. It looks so similar to mine, and I'm so, so excited to try these updos!! Also, thank you for making this a long video. The pace is perfect for someone like me who doesn't know what they're doing and needs to take their time.
What makes your videos more helpful than other hair tutorials is that you are doing it to your own hair (which is what we would be doing as well). So thank you!
Thank you, that is exactly the reason I made this video! In my experience of you try something on your own hair that you see done on a wig it will never turn out the way you want.
@@hairyintent6990 exactly!! Because the wigs “ hair” is always long, thick and blonde. The most perfect hair so the style will turn out and look nice. On me? Not so much !

Fine hair with a similar length, i’m always looking for a way to add interest and volume. I use the twist turns on the side for various styles, for the look, and because they tuck in the short bits. I only use spray if i am leaving the house, or staying with friends or family, so i won’t need to fiddle with it. I have not tried the pony tail poofs, or pooffing side turns, but i will. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this!! Can I ask once you wash hair, do you put volumizing spray on it while wet and let it stay up for 3 days? Sorry I’m new at this and don’t ever blow dry my hair.
You're very welcome! I put volumizing mousse on my hair after washing and a detangling spray. I can't usually leave it up for more than a day because my hair frizzes too much for that (and sleeping is not fun on top of a bun), so I can only leave it the same overnight if I had it in tight braids.
That looks beautiful. Anyway, you are a beautiful lady. And I’m like you I have more hair left side than the right side & big right hand it too. I have been wanting your videos multiple times.
In this video I was using Puff.Me by Design.Me.Hair. But I have to admit that since then, I've bought much cheaper volume powder and cannabalised the Puff.Me pump for it and that works just fine. It's mainly the pump that makes it so handy. Most volume powders you just pour on your head and hope it's not too much...
Thanks for the feedback! Personally I like my updos a bit messy and obviously without straightening irons or just using fake hair, you're just not going to get the plastic perfect look you might be looking for. Maybe try one of the tutorials by the more famous RUclipsrs if that's what you wanted to find?
I prefer my hair a little messy because it gives the illusion of more hair, anything super neat makes me look bald and exaggerates thinner areas. I also appreciate that she didn't use any back combing because that breaks off more hair.
Thank you so much for this!! Can I ask once you wash hair, do you put volumizing spray on it while wet and let it stay up for 3 days? Sorry I’m new at this and don’t ever blow dry my hair.
I didn't blow dry either when I had long hair, for fear of damaging it (now I have short hair I don't care). I used to put detangling serum and volume mousse in when wet and let it air dry, either loose or in an updo or braid, depending on whether I wanted straight hair to work with or something with more waves. Unless the braids are really tight, my hair can't stay in an updo or braid overnight, it gets too frizzy.
