I bought the 2nd-gen iPad Pro 13" with the 1st gen apple pencil. The user experience feels flawed. I see a similar situation with the Airpod Max. It just feels that there are a few lacking design features that this product falls short: 1. Left/ right auto-detect 2. USB-C/Mag-safe and no lightning, even portless would be great 3. Touch control 4. Replaceable head mesh 5. Get rid of the case
I’ve liked the style of reviews on this channel and even this was a visually pleasing video consistent with your past quality. But I have to say not every channel needs to review a product if it is not their expertise. I could tell that from the sound quality segment of this review. Not trying to throw shade or hate but it felt you just regurgitated what you’ve heard from others and compressed your thoughts in less than 20 seconds. like “sound that just doesn’t blast in my ears but envelops me” or “ there’s enough bass but higher notes are also crystal clear” .. Is that all you have to say in a 16 minute long video? I understand your channel might be trying to reach out to the wider “general”consumer base and not just nerds on RUclips but still, this kind of dumbing down would even put off the average consumer who doesn’t understand much about sonic signatures and technical elements. A little more in-depth analysis of the sound signature encompassing more elements wouldn’t have hurt. There was no original opinion or insight. Honestly, I clicked on this video half expecting that. Was not disappointed.

While the AirPods Max are gorgeous, I still absolutely love how the Sony and Bose 700 headphones look. Haven’t tried the Sony’s, but looks like the plastic is going to feel good - not going to complain about plastic in the build! Got the black Bose QC 35 IIs and in that colour those look great too! Again, really don’t hate the plastic and metal combo either. Super comfy, looks and feels freaking solid, and they sound amazing.
WHAT IS THE MIC QUALITY LIKE WITH ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION OFF? Nobody tested this. Or was it off or on? NC obviously in what it does to cancel BG noise it’s going to shave frequencies off your voice. So. You’d think with apples mic quality it would sound amazing.

Another quality review...love the little attention to detail like colour coordination of your outfit, mask, books in the background etc. Was able to try these out at my local Apple store yesterday...very impressed. Smaller & heavier than I thought but pure quality. I shall be getting them early next year. P.s. I think you need a new friend...I would never drop your tech Michael 😊
I love the sound and feel - they are quite an exceptional product.. an audio cable should have been included but lightning is not an issue at all...as we all carry the cable around (and often included in battery packs) it’s a no-brainer... usb-c is not there yet... The comfort is better than my other headphones but not optimal yet (perhaps I have very large ears, lol)

If it has the same capabilities as the airpods pro... you can also use them to compensate for hearing loss using your audiogram for compensation. Since one out of every three people have some hearing loss, this is a really big deal.

Tempting to match the sky blue Maxes with my iPad Pro 2020 and magic keyboard case with the Sopiguard metallic blue skin...but I’ve spent too much already. Still have my old sony XM3s and air pods pros and the Parrot Zik 3. And you need to put a “bra” on to switch it off!
You are one of the very best tech reviewers and I generally love your verbal presentation, but "How do they sound like" is not proper English. Also, "gyroscope" has a soft "g" (like "j").
The case gets to me. The headphones would get scuffed and possibly even dented inside my bag with all the other things inside. They are not travel friendly, but hey, that’s not an issue now is it? Lol.
Whether you like it or not, apple products have become a status symbol. If you want to complain about apple's prices, you need to go to some Asian countries such as India & Indonesia. They are way more expensive than in the US 😀. You know what? Sometimes they are sold out. You can't get it even though you are willing to pay for it 😀
If you use these here in the philippines ehile on public transportation, they'd be gone after 2 minutes. Somebody would have already swiped them off your head. So while they may be ideal for people there, it is highly impractical here

You can get some truly great, or at least nearly great, headphones at that price or even a lot less. Seriously let me recommend the MPow H17 HEADPHONES for $65 not $1000 In the real world, if you had the airpod max and mpow.. I guarantee you would err toward the reliability and lightweight feel of the H17. WASTE YOUR MONEY if you want ....you won't be disappointed by the MPOW H17
This "Smart Case" needs a hardshell case 😂😂. The way we have cases on our AirPods cases, people will need & buy hardshell cases from Amazon for the AirPods Max 😂

Bose mic sounds awesome. Airpods max is a little distorted for me. Mx4 is in between the two.
