    That's my favorite attachment. The circle 7 button on the Trinity I wish they kept making it on the newer mice. Instead of that awkward 6 button one.

      Having a place for the thumb to rest in the middle of all 7 buttons also helped to move the mouse with the extra grip. It was a natural resting position for the thumb. And you could feel the adjacent buttons very easily with the slightest thumb placement, which made executing the button clicks you needed also very easy. This is important when playing an FPS like fortnite. I use the buttons to switch weapons because it is much faster than the default scroll wheel or the numbers at the top of the keyboard.

    I'm glad you did address the button mismatch.
    I do love the nagas. I started from the 2014, chroma, and the trinity which i fell in love with. I have the pro now, and I love it.
    I also tied putting the trinity plates on the pro and found the button issues. I think there were also some mismatches on the 12 button plate.
    I do want to ask you, though. If I remember correctly, while the plate fits, I found that it doesn't fit quite well. It is not so noticeable, but it was annoying to me. So I would like to know if you came across it. I personally wanted to file down some plastic to make it sit well, but I decided to just adapt to the pro plates.
    Also, I stocked on a lot of trinities from eBay because I found them easy to repair. Plus, I love the optical encoder on the trinity compared to the analog from previous gens like naga chroma, and I believe the pro went back to it. It was usually a huge issue after a while with the chroma and its scrollwheel. So, the Trinity's optical encoder made me happy and never faced a scrollwheel issue. To be fair, the pro hasn't given me an issue either.

    I've used the naga series ever since the first one. The number pad takes a while to get used to, granted... but once you get used to it it's an amazing asset. I don't use any of the other side panels, just the number pad. and I'm on the v2 pro now.

      Ergonomics make it faster for the thumb to interact with the circular button configuration, with the thumb naturally resting in the center of the circle, equidistant to each side-button.

    Do all buttons get recognized by the software or does it work with the 6 number profile? Can you please explain? I got the pro and I’m thinking about buying the side plate from trinity

    • @piddli
      @piddli  2 месяца назад

      All of the side buttons are recognized except the 7th button in the circular button sideplate from the Naga Trinity. That's because Naga Pro was programmed for a 6 button sideplate. The 7th key in the circle defaults to left mouse click. I just leave that one for the back of the circle where my thumb cannot reach easily.
      The other sideplates like the 16 button one work exactly the same without any difference at all.

      Hey, welcome, fellow MMORPG gamer. I used to play WOW a lot, and EverQuest too. I will have to log in sometime soon. Lately, I have been playing Elder Scrolls Online. That's my fav MMORPG of late. To answer your question, the scroll wheel on both the pro and pro v2 are infinite scrolling. As I understand the term, infinite scrolling means the wheel scrolls continuously without impedement.

    • @piddli
      @piddli  6 месяцев назад

      No. The 7th button is defaulted to the left mouse click. There is no way to change this since the mouse itself is only set up to read 6 input keys from the side, not 7.

      I will admit, I had connectivity issues with wireless myself. Some tutorials I read suggest using the dongle in a usb 2.1 or 2.0 port instead of usb 3.0 or 3.1 and move all usb 3.0 cables even close to the wire for the mouse. because the signal leaks from the wire itself on 3.0 it interferes with the wireless signal from the dongle. Look this up, don't quote me directly, please. DYOR

    This video is so specific to me it's crazy, I'm in the exact same boat! So my trinity died cause the mechanical mouse switch lasts 2 years (has happened twice now on the right click, i get double clicking, clicks not registering etc). So I only want the optical switches, which the Naga V2 Pro has and just the regular Pro also has. I'm so glad the 7 Button plate fits, I can't believe they replaced it with that 6 button trash. My question is this: How long has your 7 button plate lasted? Mine is showing wear and tear on the buttons but they work perfectly. And can you get them somewhere else separately? What a legend. I also want to reiterate who the fuck thought it was ok to replace the 7 button god tier circle plate with that 6 button mess wtf lol.

      6 BUTTON one was og logitech design back in 2010-2015 i think the G602/G604 seria and it works perfect in mmo's in fact better to remember and harder to misclick because of its bigger size than the 12 buttons, ofc in order to make more of the sidekeys u have to keybind ctrl and shift with same 6 buttons
      i climb arean ranking in wow with it which veryi ntense gameplay and not forgiven gameplay
      i used to love that logitech one, but never had or tested razer b4.

    My NAGA PRO Wireless middle mouse failed after 6 months as a single middle click randomly actuates as x2 or x3 times - so when opening a new link on chrome- it opens it twice.
    I went through two copies and same thing happened again after 6 months, so I was wondering if the V2 has a more sustainable middle click. Is the build quality of the V2 better than the V1?

    • @NoClipMode
      @NoClipMode Год назад +1

      I've got the exact same thing with my V1. Randomly double clicks and opens two tabs roughly 25% of the time, and it also started after 6-ish months. It should be fixable with AutoHotkey if you add a de-bounce delay to the click but i haven't tried it yet. As for the V2, i'm not interested because it's just too heavy. The V1 is already quite heavy at 117g but the V2 is 134g.

    • @eladbari
      @eladbari Год назад

      @@NoClipMode Thanks so much for your refreshing tip! I thought the only solution could be a hardware fix (meaning, opening, cleaning, maybe even replacing a switch and soldering- which I have no clue so I'd never do that) - yet, you offer a software solution, which is interesting. Never heard about this "AutoHotkey". A few things:
      1. I'm quite surprised there's not a lot of info / complaints online about it. Means that maybe not everyone experiences this problem (though it's hard to realize I got the same problem with 2 different mice 6 months apart..meaning, not the same batch).
      2. I wonder what if my middle click is also the Hypershift key. How will AutoHotkey react if I press & hold the middle click. Will it let me combine it with other mouse buttons on the NAGA, when that de-bounce delay feature is switched on.
      3. I seriously considered switching to another 12 side button mouse, but I can't find one which has a Hypershift button + Wireless + auto-switches it's macro buttons that I pre-assigned to a certain software (I think some mice do that manually, meaning you have to switch to that app setup yourself without the software knowing where your mouse operates). Scimitar and Aerox 9 are the only alternatives and I don't believe they have those features.

      Here is a tip, I been using PCs since about 1996, the middle mouse click always fails, I had it fail on MS laser mice [thats was the best back then], then Logitech and then i learned.
      Now the first thing i do when i get a new mice, i remap the mid click to the side button, now its natural and i never use the mid click anymore ever.
      You can say but then the side button can die, well the chance is much lower since its standard button and mid click is a mechanism of the wheel, in worse case i can remap to the second side button or back to mid click.
      But the mid click, always dies and honestly i had so many mouse buttons die like good logitech mice, i replaced the copper metal thingy to fix it, then mechanical keyboards doing the same, over time some buttons double click so I learned again: go Optical, Optical buttons for mice, for keyboard or keyboard with removable buttons

      I always used them in a wired configuration, even though they are wireless. I noticed that sometimes that when connected wirelessly, the signal was weak or something, and inputs from the mouse were not registered. In-game, that is a liability, so I always keep mine wired.
      I think the main reason I liked the mouse is the 6 button side plate (no longer used on the V2 pro), the comfort of the palm rest and finger rests, the relatively heavy weight of the mouse, and the Razer lighting configration.
      I now use the EVGA X15 Wired gaming mouse. It has an 8k Hz polling rate, which is 8x that of the 1000 Hz polling rate of either the Razer V2 or V2 Pro

      yep because the old sideplates from the naga pro dont fit any more since they changed the shape very slightly. Now they don't make the circular 7 button sideplate for the new mouse. It's not even an option with the naga v2 pro.

    I was looking for v2 pro but couldn't find it anywhere in Poland... Couldn't find it also on the razer site. The only one v2 i could grab was 1200pln (Which translates to nearly 1000 or so usd... yea imports with the weaker currencies are expensive since it's basically x4.2 the price) from amazon i suspect 5 day delivery which was the final reason why i choose naga pro instead since i wanted it as fast as it gets. The mouse isn't as big as they claim but fits well enough, the specs are so good that really no one needs a focus pro 30k dpi and 750ips, it's just much more than you will ever be able to accelerate.
