@@ivanbluecool The way Gilgamesh got taken out though, ahhh. It was fun to see him use GoB in a more unique way though, chaining weapons together and pulling out all sorts of defensive NPs.

SF meanwhile it takes so much plot to get a hit on him with ishtar somehow finding the key and the Hydra poison on top of numbaba and so on so even that good story knows gilgamesh can't be taken out so easily. That's honestly why hf annoys me as he could have done more as an ally than just a Mana battery same as extella. But yeah his fights are amazing in SF I could watch them for hours.

It's never been stated as far as I know that saber is required, He does need saber to ACTIVATE Avalon, but he could still project a useless Avalon that doesn't do anything without saber
