I did cut my hair short first and then I cut it completely later- thank you for the tip🙏. The hair has started growing back now, it feels very nice. My questions now are, when the hair grows back with a lot of grey hair will it stay like that or it can change to its usual color? What can one do?
So happy it was helpful to have an intermediate cut. It's hard to know at this point about the color. Some people keep that initial gray, but it's probably too early to say.

My mother is in chemo for breast cancer, herceptin 100mg every week for 12 weeks,then 4 cycles of 21 days,4 weeks are completed,now hair fall started,is she will loss her all hairs.is this much chemo will be enough for her for her 2 postive treatment
Without knowing the exact diagnosis and being involved in your mother's care, it is difficult for us to comment on the treatment plan. This is a great question for her to ask her doctor. Your mother is fortunate to have you.
Hair loss during radiation treatment is seen when radiation therapy is given to the head. It may be helpful to know that in a normal adult, on average, 50 to 100 hairs a day are lost. It is common during breast cancer and its treatment to notice every single one of those hairs. Hair loss can increase in people under stress, immediately after a stressful period (such as surgery), and as a result of other medical conditions. If it is related to the stress of surgery, hair loss generally begins about 2 to 4 months after the surgery. Your medical team may be helpful in directing you through a standard evaluation if you continue to notice excessive (more than 150 hairs/day) hair loss.
A bit of been there done that. Go figure not in one place are you told just how painful that hair loss is. Its as if the hair was pulled out by the roots. Your scalp can remain sensitive for up to a year post chemo. On wearing wigs. Get yourself wig glue. Wigs weren't meant to stay put on a slilpery bald head. I was constantly tugging and adjusting mine. To the point I gave up and stuck with stocking caps. A lot of money totally wasted. & Yes ladies your scalp is going to hurt. Be prepared.

Hair loss is a really hard side effect that isn't often discussed in terms of the pain it can cause. Your advice on dealing with wigs and opting for stocking caps can be very helpful to others going through similar challenges.
Maam are there any long term side effects like damaging brain using scalp cooling during EC and Taxol chemo...does Scalp cooling machine helps in EC and Taxol regime
Scalp cooling can help to varying extent based on the chemotherapy. Fortunately, there is no evidence of damage to the central nervous system, including the brain.

I’m in Canada and I was able to choose a free loaner wig in similar colours and styles to my own hair through the Cancer Society B.C. .

I’m not worried about losing my hair. I have had chemotherapy before this is my second time of cancer but a different kind.

Tamoxifen indeed causes hair loss, please inform the public correctly. I have personal experience in this regard and it is more common than reported!
