Basically nobody whos in this movie is fuckin alive anymore.

I really love her tactical knowledge and all the firepower she had, but one look from jake disarmed her can't get any better than this, timeless classics never die out.

Such clever comedy. The way they weaved her character in and out, sorta indicating she's a major part of the plot, but all it turns out to be is an ex-girlfriend he screwed over and is out for revenge. 😂😂

Here's an explanation of how Belushi's character is actually a narcisstic abuser. Recognize this and you will be better off in life.
"They"? Dan Akroyd wrote the script alone.
mojoblues66 and John Landis, who made it workable. Basically anytime Aykroyd turned in a script that was used, it was heavily edited to the point that it was almost unrecognizable. Same thing happened with Ghostbusters. Landis edited that one as well.
Forty-one years later, and I am still helplessly, hopelessly in love with this woman...sigh. ❤️😔

These were the funniest scenes in the movie to me when I first saw it.
The way she would attack them and then they would just clime out of the rubble and go about their business as if nothing had happened had me rolling.
The scene where he begs for his life and then drops her in the mud just killed.

Carrie is so beautiful in the tunnel when Jake told her it was not his fault he was late from the wedding, the doubt in her face and when Jake took off his sunglasses and Carrie melts to his eyes...

The Stormtroopers have better aim. They managed to take on the Tantive IV, and stun her.
It wasn't her fault. She couldn't hit them because they were on a mission from God. The funny thing is that Princess Leia actually has the best accuracy with a blaster out of any character in the original trilogy.
You do realize that this character has no reason to be competent with any of those weapons.

Her appearances in this movie were so great I couldn't stop laughing for a minute or two, that is why I had to come back to the theatre and watch it 3 or 4 times
I really love this movie. One thing (apart from the music) is that Jake and Elwood are keeping it cool no matter what happens to them.

This movie was so old that Carrie's M-16 doesn't even have a forward assist button behind the ejection port! I remember bawling with laughter when their phone booth was torched and it took off like a rocket. RIP Carrie and John, you were hilarious and left me with many great memories.

Had no idea both Carrie Fisher and Dan Ackroyd were dating in real-life at this period. 1980 certainly was a good year for Fisher having both 'The Blue Brothers' and 'The Empire Strikes Back' taking both 1st and 2nd positions at the American box-office!

At 1:20 and 1:34 where she's sitting in the red Pontiac Grand Prix (epic auto in its own right) Carrie Fisher looks completely adorable. Maybe it's because I'm not used to seeing her when she was younger with her hair down.

Did you know that once their mission from God was completed, the Blues Brothers got handcuffed and nearly all the authorities held them at gunpoint? That scene is one of the best - it's like God telling Jake and Elwood "You're done fulfilling My mission. Now get arrested and do your hard time."
