Your Pomegranate Jelly looks nice. The clarity and color is beautiful. Now this one I may get after soon and make a few jars for the year! Thanks for the share
Hi there and I've never tasted pomegranate jelly, but I have had the juice and I really liked! This is one that I'll have to try because your jelly looks awesome! Thank you for sharing and have a blessed day always!
It would be nice to see a video about how to submit canned goods to your local county or State Fair. I've always been interested but have never figured out how it works. Great video thank you
🤗💜 I was going to over that and show my entries , but I cut the time Way too close! We got stuck in traffic as well and it's only 5 miles from us! I will go over that when I pick them up on Wednesday!
I love how easy you make it.Pomegranate jelly is something I have never tasted. But probably are good.I will be ordering some Pomona pectin and trying this.I have added this to my recipe box for future using.
🗝💜🤗 The Pomegranate juice is a bit on the bitter side, but when you add just a bit of sugar to it, it tastes AMAZING! I eat a Pomegranate a day when they are in season and Love the Jelly! I buy the juice because juicing the seeds.... yeah, MUCH easier buying the 100% juice! Lol🤗
Thank you so much for sharing this! I did blueberry jam and it was way to thick. Is there a way to save it? For now I'm going to grape jelly. Thanks again for sharing!! New subscriber!!
Oh gee - O hope im not double posting - I wrote the post and it disappeared - not sure what I did. I’ve never had pomegranate jelly, I wonder if I’d like it. My husband was just recently diagnosed with diabetes and I’m looking for low sugar recipes now. This might work.
This is an answer to my question on the strawberry jam video. I do have another question using juice. Can you double the recipe as long as you double the sugar and pectin? Pomegranate jelly sounds good! ❤️
🗝💜🤗 Yes! With Pomona's you can double with no worries about setting problems. I have Tripled Jam recipes with no problems. There is a chart on the instructions that gives you measurements for any amount of fruits! amzn.to/3oouGwv
I meant to ask you, in the paperwork for Grape juice it has * then over in the "ingredients" it has * 1/4 cup lemon or lime juice. So does that mean I need to add that or NOT? Also when do I add if I need to? THANK YOU!
Yes, add Lemon juice. 🍋 The lemon juice helps preserve the color from turning dark ( other than Concord) Not making it more acidic. I also add 1 Tablespoon of Butter to my Jams and Jellies to help with MUCH less foaming. I learned this many years in Food Preservation Classes I took at my local Extension just North of me. Great classes if you can find them at local colleges!
I never thought of making pomegranate jelly! This sounds good.
🗝🤗💜 If you like Pomegranate, you will LOVE this Jelly!
Pomegrate Jelly and Hans are very goid and healthy. Goid luck at the fair. Juice Linton jelly is so easy. Thanks Diane.

Another good point about using Pomona's pectin, is that you can do a double batch without any problems.
🗝💜🤗 Yes! I mention that in this video or yesterday's Strawberry Jam tutorial. You can do a LOT!
I’ve never had pomegranate jelly, sounds interesting

I've never heard of calcium water. What is it and what's it's purpose? I love pomegranates so I know I'd love pomegranate jelly!
🗝💜🤗 It is Part of Pomona's Pectin. amzn.to/3oouGwv

I’ve never had pomegranate jelly. I used to always buy 2 pomegranates in the fall for my kids to share.
🗝🤗💜 I eat a pomegranate a day when they are in Season! My Favorites!
@@DianeTheCanningNana do you eat the seeds? We always just sucked on them and spit out the seed but I see recipes with them sprinkled on food.
I'm sure your pomegranate jelly will be tasty!
🗝🤗💜 SO Good!
I need to pick up some pomegranate juice so I can try it. If I like it then maybe I'll try to make the pomegranate jelly.

Where do you get that pectin, I've never seen it at any store?? At the stores here in my state of NC I've just seen Sure-jel.
🤗 Here is where I get mine:

I find it sometimes locally in Whole Foods, but Amazon is less for a pack of 3
I ordered Pomona pectin from Amazon. I am in the Northeast and I have never seen it in the store. I hope that helps you.
