Halo infinite multiplayer has become really solid, it deserves a resurgence...at least for a bit.

SBMM is carrying him big time. I get lobbys where I am shredded like cheddar cheese while playing on onyx level. Even in social I have enemys which are completely insane. Just looking at his movement I can tell he wouldnt even make it out of spawn in the lobby I find myself constantly. Its like we play two different games.

after placement matches he went to Platinum? diamond 5 is the highest you can be placed after your 5 placement matches, he is a long way off that
He didnt play that great. No real slides, no pressure, not holding angles or important chokepoints, no flag juggle or disrupting the enemy defense. He is just an average player who got his first 5 rankes matches.
The lobbys I find myself would shred him like crazy. Its almost like two different games. Even in social. I hate this sbmm bs. Killed halo for me.

I'm liking the halo content
This is the last game I expected to see him hop on and enjoy but it’s kind of nice. I sometimes forget halo is one of the biggest gaming franchises and not just my sad, dying little game.
Halo infinite is an incredible game.

I’m a PC player, and unfortunately you have to run aim assist to compete with controller. Half the weapons you don’t need aim assist for, but the weapons players have their hands on most of the time, like Sidekick, AR, BR, Bandit, you just loose your 1v1s to controller players consistently, because of aim assist. So when you turn on aim Magnetism, it makes the playing field fair, but it is annoying for the few times you miss a kill because of aim assist pulling your aim, but it helps you more than not, and you can’t compete without it, unless you are playing against PC only, but most Pc players are going to be running it too, so you are forced to run it. No one is going to be trying to have muscle memory for aim assist on and off lol. So just run it. Your snappy target acquisition is still all you, it’s just the tracking is helped by aim assist. When you are cooking with the Sniper, just know that aim assist isn’t doing damn near anything, so you can still feel skillful and know it’s your true aim with certain weapons.
High ranks have always been about positioning and strategy over raw aiming ability. But I agree Mnk definitely should not have aim assist, or higher sens than controller has. It’s so annoying to get an Mnk teammate with like 100 games played in diamond/onyx lobbies. They’ll go like +10 but have ZERO strategy and just drag everyone down. I hope they work on balance in the next game

Lmao guy is hot trash at Halo. I would put up 500k that he doesn't put up more than 4 kills against me in a 1v1 on a ranked map used in comp 1's (Recharge, Live Fire, Aqua, Rig, or Plaza). I play casually, mostly FFA's against high onyx/pros and 2's sometimes. I am average in the comp scene. He should be able to destroy me. Easy money
