Rick -- what type of performance do you get? flight modeling can sometimes be something to be desired , the citation II had some questionable textures inside...perhaps this is unique to caranado?
Carenado needs a Greg Mink single pilot figure for this airplane.

Quality review ! I like some of the GoPro type shots ( makes it more real ) I think if you setup the GoPro to even more real life then you will have something truly special Nice work !

I have the FSX version of this, and yours is obviously better in every single way. THE X Plane version is very impressive! FSX version has FMS and Autopilot problems galore.I have FSX Steam version, so I don't know how much of the problems are Carenado related, and how much of it is Steam related, or if it is all just plain FSX related.

Hi, great review and flight, one query, why the autopilot 2D pop up screen appears every time you touch the switches? the 3D autopilot vc gauge do not allow you to engage the aproach mode? and.. what about performance, similar to the FF A320?

This was a good review video to watch (I just happened to come across it when watching other xplane videos) I like this jet, I've always been a fan of Carenado and their visual models but the default fmc is really starting to get to me as it really let's their aircraft down in my opinion
i took flying lessons back when i was in hs. anyway big fan of zero golf mike's plane. you owe him a big plug for sales on this mod. his many fans will be getting this for sure. he's landed here in amarillo before but i missed him at the airport. bummer for me tho.

Really like your videos and rely on them for for tutorials on aircraft. What version of X plane 11 did you use? I have recently purchased this aircraft (v1.2) and it is totally unusable on my version of X Plane (11.41r1). Nothing works absolutely nothing. Very disappointing. Thanks.

Hello Seckhala I have the same ver of X Plane that you have and I'm not having any problems. Maybe you should download it again, could have been a clinch in the download.

This Veech us a little thicker because it's got a higher interior headroom when in the oassenger area, good for taller folks!

Btw. you forgot to use lift dump when landing. Since the aircraft doesn't have reversers it has lift dump. Without lift dump your landing distance increases by 53 %.
Yea its pretty smooth. At the end of the video i mentioned i forgot to use it. I need yo map a key for it. But thanks didnt know it increased stopping distance.

Does it fly like every Carenado (they are all basically a Cessna 172) or does it actually feel like a jet? Their S550 model was a shame.

How did you get your contrails to appear white? Mine look smokey gray - like there is an engine fire.

Curious how it compares to the Carenado Challenger 300. Wich is the only private jet I own. Dont fly it much but love the thing.
Funny side note, one of these things buzzed me and landed at our local airport yesterday and is still there. So I was thinking about them lol.

My opinion is the same than always with Carenado: very beautiful model, but weak systems. I would like ONLY ONE single business jet with proper working avionics. I would love to pay 150 euro for that, if everything works like in the real aircraft!
And the sound here, especially the outside sound, is terrible unrealistic.
I think I will stay with P3D, I like this more.
Thank you. And yea you are right. But thats what we expect from carenado. Eye candy and simple systems. Was honestly surprised by the sound quality cause the previous citation and saab sounded great..
