- Welcome back everyone! Today, I introduce you to a slightly new series! It's called How I Would Do! We start off with how I would do Godzilla: King of the Monsters! It's quite similar to my future film series I have planned, but this version is made specifically to fit within the Monsterverse! Enjoy!

I appreciate the fact that Ghidorah plays the role of an actually powerful force. It rises the stakes and makes thing more suspenseful

I admit the battle with Godzilla loses is definitely heart wrenching , have a feeling something similar might happen in GVK.
this video is a friggin masterpiece , you did a good job to gave the Human characters and the monsters more personality and heart, all of them show emotions towards each other and this made me feel for both the human characters and the monsters . Even though i would have to admit that the battle where Godzilla loses twice with his fight with King Ghidorah is definitely heart wrenching , but overall it's a pretty good video .
so i would give it 5/5 stars .
I love how your Godzilla is only a few decades old in your version...he is essentially a kid in this reboot
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Amazing just Amazing, this is what we should've got in the first place , mothra and rodan being bigger and with better roles to play , godzilla being a badass and ghidorah an actual powerful threat. I would've loved to see this on the big screen hopefully we get a monsterverse film like this in the future, so again Beautiful script and story , you are incredible dude 👍👍👍
I honestly would have enjoyed seeing Ghidorah wake up on his own. He really didn’t need some device for that. Because if there’s gonna be a malevolent kaiju who’s a big deal, then they should wake up on their own, thus showing what a real threat they can be to Godzilla and the planet as a whole
The simplest answer is say climate change was causing Ghidorah to awaken and Monarch was actually trying to keep Ghidorah *asleep*
We didn't need the human villains, the ecoterrorists.
So yeah, Ghidorah awakening from global warming would be great.

ahaha thank you! Yeah man, I'm not salty about the winner. What I WOULD be salty about is if they try to downplay Kong, or if they kill off either monster. I don't want either monster to be downplayed, I want both to be shown as equal forces to one another. I want a really good fight, and I want them to respect both monsters!

For me I liked Godzilla King of the Monsters when it first came out but nowadays it’s feels more like a film with missed opportunity, if I would do GKOTM I would add Anguirus as the second main monster character, I would add the twin Mothra larva as well like you did, I would make Rodan 115 meters instead of the pathetic 47 meters like come on, I would make Mothra bigger then her 1961 size, and I would also make King Ghidorah 205 meters, and for the final battle of the film I would have all 6 titans go up against King Ghidorah that would’ve been amazing to see on the big screen, and yeah that’s how I would do Godzilla King Of The Monsters!

This is an Awesome take on King of the Monsters! I'm someone who really enjoyed the actual film but there are parts of your version that I like even more. About your thoughts on Rodan's height, maybe in KOTM he is really meant to still be young which will allow him to grow in size and character in future movies. Also, since you said in this that Mothra would have 2 Larva babies, it makes me wonder if what if one of them was Battra.
Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, I would buy that Rodan height thing if we hadn't seen cave paintings showing Rodan at the same size he was in KOTM. I actually wouldn't have Battra in this version. But yeah, Battra doesn't come from Mothra's species, he was said to be created by the earth itself. That's as far as his origins go though. Interesting idea nonetheless!
@@KingKong19100 No problem, and I know, but I thought with the Monsterverse's more realistic take on things that maybe Battra's origins can be slightly changed. But he can still be a guardian of the Earth and an enemy of humanity.

If mothra wasn't the so-called 'queen of the monsters' so that there wouldn't be the opposite of einstein that is the godzilla x mothra ship.

Godzilla does have a healing factor, it's just not instant like Ghidorah.

Your rewrite Godzilla KotM is actually pretty good and it sounds exactly like a remake of Ghidorah the three headed dragon. Solid 4/5.

Wow. You know I'm not a someone who can't see others opinions in fact thats how I approach all arguments. But I didn't really agree or maybe fully understand what you meant by your power up rant in your KOTM sucks video. I agreed with half of what was brought up, you made some great points that I felt the same about too. But holy shit watching this video, and seeing you paint out the battle without a burning godzilla, or a nuke power up, Godzilla fighting with pure determination, and will. I see your point a lot clearer. I have no problem admitting that I actually got somewhat emotional watching, as I envisioned everything. I felt the "tension" as you touched on your KOTM sucks video. I personally don't think KOTM was that bad, but I can admit your way is better and would've been epic. Sorry to ramble but I wanted to make it clear where my thought process was coming from. 👍👍 Great vid 👌

@@DBZilla-mi9xe No, most of them don't. I only use the base of films like KOTM and GTTHM in order to fix the actual KOTM film. I take inspiration from other films, but these are explicitly my ideas in weaving a proper story together. There isn't a single monster film like this.

As brutal as a Gamera movie but, considering how the monster verse took a lot of Ideas from those movies it works.

@@Godzilla-tu2cd thank you. I've always liked to see Godzilla and Ghidorah as equals rather than Ghidorah being far above Godzilla in power level. Both of them are equally powerful and both are equally determined and desperate to end the other. Think of it like this. Ghidorah's sole purpose as a species is to terraform and conquer other planets because that is the entire point of his species while Godzilla has a duty to protect earth. Both of them have their own reasons and only one of them can be fulfilled

Since you left out the Oxygen Destroyer in this, I thought of a possible alternate way the Monsterverse could have used the Oxygen Destroyer and Burning Godzilla.

@@bro-be3bd Maybe Godzilla would go burning over the course of the movies and Serizawa would have had to complete a weapon he started working on when he first joined Monarch designed to kill Titans, but stopped working on when he got to understand their role in the natural order. Then he would have to use it to kill Godzilla before his meltdown would destroy the planet, and have to kill the very thing he spent so much of his life studying.
@@t.rexking441 since the oxygen destroyer of the monsterverse just appears to lower a titans radiation levels I would say godzilla would be back at his base strength and maybe they would show one of his dorsal plate tip's slightly rise up before cutting to black at the end of the film, but anyway that's a pretty good idea!
@@rjsblanket3024 Thanks and you have a pretty cool idea too. Just not entirely not sure if the Oxygen Destroyer should be portrayed as something that saves Godzilla because of its cultural significance in the first movie but I guess it can still be an interesting parallel to Gojira 1954.

About rodans size. I think he is 47 meters when in a quadruped instance, because when he is bipedal instance se seems to be much bigger.

Personally, I would have had it where Ghidorah takes control of Rodan’s mind and makes him subservient to Ghidorah
Godzilla is too weak to do anything about it, Ghidorah can’t control Godzilla as his will is too strong and can resist, same for Mothra
When Rodan and Mothra meet, Mothra could snap Rodan out of Ghidorah’s control

Ohhh that’s such a great idea! It would make Rodan not seem like a coward if he did end up siding with Ghidorah temporarily!
And yeah. In my mind Ghidorah should have his own duology. The first time he just takes on Goji/Mothra/Rodan, the second time it’s an all out war much like Destroy All Monsters where all monsters have to unite against him. He could come back even stronger and even larger (with his manes). Since he spent KOTM buried in ice and encapsulated in a meteor, he could have taken the time between KOTM and this DAM film to get stronger in space! That’s just an idea.

I guess in an alternate movie universe, maybe after Ghidorah is defeated for the second time, Apex recovers some remains of Ghidorah for experimentation purposes
During that time, they discover Mechagodzilla and are playing around with the idea of mixing Titan flesh with cybernetics and after mechagodzilla is dealt with, maybe they take what’s left and begin making MKG from Mechagodzilla
Maybe they recover a severed head and by splitting the brain into three pieces, they regenerate into three separate brains that pilot the body or something
@@ksoundkaiju9256 I mean it can definitely be done, but it’s all up to if you’d want to see that! I’ve never been too hot about MKG (LOVE the 1991 Goji design tho), but if they can make it work then they should go for it! I think seeing other monsters would be better though. Ghidorah is overstaying his welcome because Dougherty killed him off in such an awful fashion. I have a lot of unlisted videos you could find in a playlist but I was nooooot a fan of KOTM. A lot of people will say I’m a goji hater for that but I just hated that film. So fair warning haha.

Personally I like when Godzilla is forced to fight a way bigger opponent. Ghidorah isn't just the biggest monster in the Monsterverse, he's Godzilla's biggest opponent! Hence why I think that's a better height. I also like a visible size difference, they can still tangle with each other at that height. I thought he was too small in KOTM
