- This video is a beginner friendly tutorial on how to get moist finger coils on dry dull 4c short hair giving maximum curls that helps promote hair growth as well. I give you step-by-step instructions on how to do your own finger coils on short natural hair for men or women . This style can be done on very short hair to awkward length, medium hair length or long hair or even if your hair is tapered. Also, from any texture hair type from kinky 4c hair to 3b loose curls. These finger coils can be used for starter locs as well. This technique I use leaves your short hair with stretched hair that’s bouncy, shining, and extremely moist. It took me 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete. #fingercoils #combcoils #4c #naturalhair #blackmenhair #starterlocs #twostrandtwist #twiststyles #naturalhair #natural #moisturizedhair #protectivestyles #backtoschoolhairstyle #viralvideo #trending #trendingvideo #suggestedvideo

You just saved me. I'm starting my journey and growing out an undercut. The hair that was previously shaved is at TWA stage and is *just* long enough to be twisted but would probably unravel, I was looking for a solution and this will be good to start it.
Thank you so much and I know your journey will be amazing 💕💕🤎🤎
Very well executed! Are you going to be starting your loc journey, or are these just a style for you?
Thank you so much….I’m thinking about just letting them loc and embracing the journey

Well i wanted to save some money this looks loke the best way how long does it take to loc up and do have to keep product to it
With locs all you need this to must the hair with water when needed about the first 6 months until the loc begin to mature. It takes about 6 months to loc depending on hair texture or longer if you have a looser curl pattern
@@beautyatwill8972 oh ok thank you

How 😮
Can finger coils be style to do often? I did them on my son and took them out 2 days later bc i didnt have them to turn into locs.. idk if that makes sense
Good morning. Fingers crossed coils is a great protective style and you can wear them for awhile and not have to worry about them turning into locs. It usually takes about 2 months before the locs begin to start forming. You should be able to safely leave them in for two weeks with no problems at all. I hope this answered your question
im trying to find out how finger coils loc up, how do i stop them from unraveling?
It really depends on your hair Texture. The more coarse the hair the better the hold. Two strand twist is better for looser curl pattern hair. The hair eventually locs over time.
Thank you so much, I have a 4C hair type@@beautyatwill8972
