    Only thing I don’t like about Dutch right now is them diluting shares other than that it’s a good buy I think lines are always long at every Dutch bros in California

    Got dutch bro's on my Rt.101 trip, they are amazing! Its funny because on that trip I had the worst coffee of my lifetime at a Starbucks, and then had the best coffee of my life at Dutch Bros, so much so that we re-routed the trip to stop by several more along the way lol.

    Another good stock in the restaurant business that you covered is TOST. Comparable growth but better potential profitability than BROS due to it being a tech comany.

    I bought 1% position at $24, been waiting 2 years to buy. I’m looking to grow position but hard to know good price. People love Dutch bros, it’s odd how popular it is when other coffee shops like them aren’t. Peter lynch says not to worry about insider selling so I try not to. Thanks for covering it 😁

    This is a tough one, Daniel. I agree on a relative thumbs up, but execution means everything. I remember when Starbucks was growing so fast and Mr Shultz actually had to close stores to get it right. Suppose it isn’t all about growth. Thanks for taking time to evaluate these!

    • @unrivaled
      @unrivaled  8 месяцев назад +1

      That's a really great way to put it. It's a "relative thumbs up." Overall I suspect it could outperform the market, BUT if they don't execute it doesn't have the margin of safety that would make me comfortable with the downside.

    When the rebel energy drink by Dutch bros hits gas stations. With their brand loyalty no one in Cali will buy Red Bull anymore. People love Dutch bros. That’s where the billions come in

      Not cold brew cans. They sell the Rebel which is a copy of Red Bull. That hits gas stations. With their brand loyalty no one in California will buy Red Bull anymore

    We did good didn’t we bro? I made 30k on that one. Not 5 years.. 3 years. Dutch bros is one hell of a machine in California where I live. 30 minute wait minimum. The coffee isn’t that great. The way they do business is.

    bullish but its concerning if their only selling point is coffee.. ive been a customer since 2016/17 and they haven't really added much except for protein drinks recently. I own 30ish shares but plan to add when I see it at a more fair p/e

    This looks pretty expensive, especially as consumer spending growth is expected to continue slowing. Corporate owned stores come with a lot of balance sheet risk. How's their overall leverage? Do you know anything about their supply chain to check if it's possible for them to grow to 4k+ stores without making drastic changes?

    I'm surprised by the power of institutions and short sellers. Dutch Bros beat both top and bottom line. Stock price is going up when market opens today and then keep going down. Wow. I shouldn't invest in small cap stock from now on then

    I don’t understand the hype. Maybe it’s their other drinks but it can’t be their coffee unless people like paying 25% more than Starbucks for a McDonalds brew.

  • @chamindasilva3191

    You can't develop coffee empires like Starbucks any more. Those days are over & coffee market is segmented geographically. There is no "Moat" around Dutch Bros. Look what happened to Lukin coffee; Jim Cramer said it would be the next Starbucks. Even Starbucks is fading away. Analyzing these kind of stocks is a waste of time. Thanks.

    • @sercan272727
      @sercan272727 8 месяцев назад +4

      If product is good, and if you have competitive price, I think you can. I didn't try Dutch bros yet but even starbucks became empire with pretty mediocre coffee. They are in the business of selling sugar syrups and artificial flavors for the most part, I think they need a lot of capital to expand though. I wouldn't touch this for another couple years unless some big haircut happens

    • @Colin-jm8sk
      @Colin-jm8sk 8 месяцев назад +9

      Luckin coffee failed because they were scamming investors, not even comparable, and this idea that you can't take market share because a company already exists in that sector is ridiculous. If someone makes a superior product at a better price, people will go there, no consumer has an allegiance to Starbucks or any other chain.

      Wrong. Just in Texas alone, in the last 3 years they've gone from having 2 coffee shops to having over 125. It may not grow nearly as fast as Starbucks, but it's absolutely growing fast.
