Mama Pao was joking with them that Maxi would have their neighbor for the challenge. That’s why the siblings were so surprised, cuz it was their dad. Mama Pao’s dead-pan facial expression sometimes results to uncertainty, hence the comedy.
@@Jay-j-xh2ft Ahhhh! So he was their real dad.🤣 That's awesome. We were confused with that. I think the context was lost in the translation (by reading captions). Thanks for the clarifications.
@@Jay-j-xh2ft When I came out about myself to my mom in Japan, she said "My job is to nurish your wings and your job is to report what you see from the sky. I will support what you do/are." Zymba's presentation linked to that moment for me personally. So, hers really got me.
I really like your intro song - Cuteness overload. Alien is a fun word Filipinos used that means Amen. Got that from a famous show in the 90's. It has been so famous that "alien" has been part of filipino's slang word for Amen. 😅
@@dyoxology37 ahhhh Thank you so much for the info. Learning something new every day! And thank you for liking our theme song. It was sung by our cute friend musician, Tom Goss. He wears the bow tie made by my mom in Japan, too. 😘ruclips.net/video/69wDnD2Z8w8/видео.htmlsi=QZJahg9SKmJpwoLy
My favorite in this episode is the highlight of Filipino culture being family oriented....and that lipsyc was fireeeee🔥🔥🔥. Jimmy was right they merely based it on track records coz that was a pretty close fight!!!!
I wonder what would have happened if Bench had had great outfits in the last few weeks. She could have won at least one week (although this season is such a tough competition). If they happen to have an All-Star season in PH, I want her to come back and slay the competition!
ALIEN - is like AMEN, their is one comedy tv show here in philippines that has segment for "ang dating doon" which is a parody of a religious group here in The Philippines . So it is like some one has question and the so called religious leaders will answer as a joke , even using a book (like the bible) Then after answering the question instead of AMEN! They asked to response ALIEN !!!!! - Isko Salvador - is the comedian who popularized it
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. So, if we say "Alien" when we agree with whatever my Filipino friends say, it would not be rude, right? Would it be funny?
Every makeover episode is typically emotional. We love it. We cry weekly during this season because we clearly feel the pains and the joys they express on the TV screen. This is the best drag race in years so far. Thank you for watching the episode with us and commenting! Hugs
Yes those three and Tita were my top 4. The story that Zymba presented on the runway just got me personally. So, my number one for this week was Zymba. Thank you for watching our reactions and leaving some comments. I love reading the comments from you!
We are reading the captions and sometimes cannot read them and comprehend them fast enough. And sometimes, we comprehend things in the wrong way. So we appreciate you guys telling us and reassuring us of what they meant in the context. We are so glad both parents showed up for them. They are so sweet. And so glad dad won with Maxie. ❤
Bench said she and Kaladkaren are the same trans (not bench and her bf, her bf is straight). Btw, congrats to Kaladkaren, she got married with her British long-term bf.
Yeah I (Mabo) thought that they were just talking about Kalad and Bench, too. But I could have misread something in the captions. So, I was not sure about what Jimmy said. Thank you for clarifying it. It is so cool to see the "love is love" moment. And yaaaaay for Kalad!

@@MABOandJIMMYtv btw, my winner for this week is Zymba too. Zymba, Myx and Maxie are the tops for me.

There was no lost in translation, Mama Pao intentionally said neighbor to see the siblings' surprised reactions when their dad appeared 🤗❤️

I think they shouting amen not alien
They are apparently shouting alien, meaning amen, according to the cuties (our viewers kindly explaining what's going on in the TV screen.)
