Keith Ferris’ Dreams of Flight Come True on Canvas

Artist Keith Ferris presented “Lightning at Sea,” his third and final painting of the F-35 Lightning II, to Vice Adm. Mike Shoemaker, commander, Naval Air Forces, at Pensacola, Florida, on May 12.

As a kid, I marveled at the Keith Ferris art in my dad's Aviation Week magazines. After 30+ years of flight, much of it powered by Pratt & Whitney engines, I would love to personally thank him for motivating me and helping my dreams come true.
