- I decided to make a full day vlog from my workday as a truck driver, and here we are! Hope you guys like it :)

Hi Cassie I was one of the first lady truck drivers in the late 70's here in USA. That was before automatic transmissions and no power steering
I drove a 13 speed truck and when I had to turn the wheel I had to stand up and put muscle into it
I'm only 5ft 3inc and weight at the time small. One truck my foot couldn't reach the foot feed so we had to put a block of wood there so I could drive
I loved trucking and have all kinds of stories to tell. I traveled from the east coast to the west coast

@@donjulio4025 All the trucks i was in from 1969 on through the years had power steering no automatics and no air ride like come out in trucks in the middle to late 80's. For a good while cabovers rulled the roads it was said because the DOT had a restriction on the length a truck and trailer could be.

I worked for a Swedish Company called Tetra Pak. I really enjoy watching your videos. Sweden is one of my favourite countries and during the 38 years working for Tetra Pak, I visited many, many times. Mostly staying south Sweden around Malmo and Lund, but also staying in Stockholm. Swedish people are very gentle and well behaved. I had 38 yrs of the best job I could ever have imagined. Great videos. thanks!!

I just love going along watching your video as you drive along the countryside. The scenery is magnificent. I live here in the tropics, Fiji and the coldest we get is around 18-19 degrees centigrade and even that on very rare occasion. I just love video logs put up on RUclips by truckers from the world over. Stay safe on the roads.

I have two dogs and they absolutely panic during thunderstorms or fireworks. Although selling firework was prohibited this sylvester here in Germany you were allowed to fire up any remainig from last year (it has been prohibited too back then) and quite some people still had plenty in their stock. It hasn't been that much but it was enough to scare those poor fellows. They're both adopted from the shelter so we don't know what they've been through before. It's always a hard time to get them out of the house a few days after but we're back to normal now. Before I had dogs I never cared about fireworks but now I literally hate it. All the noise, smoke and garbage and all animals are scared- I would'nt mind if they keep it prohibitate from now on. BTW Happy New Year Cassie and I'm looking forward for more full day Vlogs :D

I find with that crane truck story it’s the the supplier who hasn’t passed on the info about the deliveries. As the supplier who actually put the order for delivery, so when the customer at the drop off point as a special instruction they tell the supplier who then doesn’t tell us the transport company about said special instructions.

I’m now retired but, I really do me traveling. Based in England, I used to travel all over the UK & Europe but, sadly, not so much in your part of the world. Greetings from Scotland! First - Cassie, trust me, you NEVER have a "bad hair day!". I'm sure the spa pool story made all the truckers watching think of a similar incident! At lease the customer didn't get angry with you Cassie so it's all good. Did she invite you around to use it some time? 😊That Thai food looks good, I have to say I've ate with some strange utensils (even spanners!) but never had to resort to my drivers licence! Neat idea though Cassie! "My tummy is full and I'm gonna go home!" What more can you ask for a great end to the day? Loved Viggo doing his party trick in and out through your legs! I loved the "full day vlog" Cassie but only do these if you're happy to do them OK? No stressing about getting them uploaded! You always upload interesting stuff! have a great weekend!
Oh, nearly forgot! Norrköping was my first lesson in Swedish pronunciation! I asked for directions to an address and I said it as "Norcoping" - I was quickly corrected to say the ö part as "sh" and never forgot it! Great interesting language!

I remember the bad days of having to unload a 48 foot trailer by hand onto 4 wheel dollies into a warehouse it would take a crew up to 4 hours on some loads and after that stuff i said if a fork lift can't load it and unload it i will not haul it.
i have allways loved driving in sweden from the south to all the way up north close to haparanda. nic e and quiet roads , very friendly people.Cassie i wish you many many save and great trips, you,r a amazing woman, Good luck dear.

1. Is your other job at the stable a regular job or some volunteering stuff? People over here say that somebody who loves animals can not be a bad person
