Its not as much as the bad words as it is the music in general. This type of music is automatically portrayed to be satanic by the society we live in and the world those parents were raised in. Its another "you can't judge a book by its cover" moments as they have not actually taken the opportunity to listen to the music much less because able to understand the lyrics. Although this comment was a bit dramatizing of the situation, I do agree with you.
Necrophyliactic Metal-Lover I just wanna say why does a great and meaningful music genre get judge by people. And songs that have twerking, bragging and other stuff like that get support. I’m bad at explaining stuff usually so imma try my best.....a kid who was I think in 5 grade. He looked young, at a rock concert was yelling out the words “burn mother f***er burn” and I told people about how funny it was. Most people said that the parents are bad influence on them and I would tell them this.....at the concert the singer of the band (fiver finger death punch) said in the middle of that song “when you see some one being pushed down, help them back up”. Rock music is giving out messages in the songs. Good ones and people do judge it without looking more into it. When people hear “burn motherf***er burn” some will instantly say that song is bad and teaching you to burn someone. But in reality it is saying stand up for yourself and fight back against the people who are trying to hurt you. (THATS how I see it) same goes with Christian rock. People judge it by the way it sounds and not listen to the words. Hopefully you understand what I was saying. I’m bad at explaining.
