I've been baptized in palm sunday and took part in communion during pascha, and I experienced 7 days of spiritual strength like never before. but then i fell into old sins and now this message comes to strengthen me and keep my spiritual battle. thanks so much for this video!! Christ is with us!
I'm very happy for you brother. Don't forget, even though we strive for perfection we will never achieve it fully in this life. Satan dances when you start hating yourself. Every time you fall, take it as an opportunity to kneel before God to confess, that you are inherently broken and that this is the reason you need him to be your saviour. Because whatever will we do, it'll be never enough for salvation, it is Jesus the lamb of God sacrificed on the altar of the cross that bridges that gap. Stay strong! Hardest battle against evil is already won by our awesome God. 😊😉
Indeed he is risen! I've been more conscious of this recently; that God isn't present during my daily prayers alone, but that he is with me always. Knowing that fills me with such great joy. It's a blessing that I'll never be worthy of, but I'll remain forever thankful!
Indeed “Words are cheap.” Yesterday after I listened to one of your videos, I prayed that Christ would help me in my soul to forgive a person that I formed the words “I forgive you.” I realized that this was a ongoing struggle, and that only Christ could make that forgiveness a true forgiveness from the depths of my soul. I am a Catholic, but your videos find me wherever I am in my spiritual journey. God bless you father and the work of your monasteries.
Indeed He is risen ! May He indeed open our eyes to see the resurrected Christ daily so that we may rise with Him and set our eyes on things above 🙏 congratulations on the new priest- an extension of Christ’s presence with us 🙏🥰
Christ is risen!!! Dear father, may the Lord's victory gives you strenght and its joy enlightens all of you, now in bouth monasteries, carring eternal sinai flame of love for the One who is all for you and for whome are you by all of your breathing. Greetings and care in same Spirit from serbian orthodox theologian and great lover of Celtic saints, forgive and remember in prayer. (Sooner or later joining you in holy shema)
Hristos a înviat! This period after Pascha can be a period in which we understand how much God loves us, suffering Cross and ressurecting us from death. A period to understand, to feel that God loves us most and His Holy Light can't be compared to something in this world. It is out of this world and It is the promise of paradise.
That is wonderful news. What a blessing to now have a second priest. God bless you Fr Seraphim. I have only recently been guided to your channel and I am very happy and grateful for this gift. I pray for your health and for the health of your community in that spectacular part of the world.
Having a second priest is like new life for our Monasteries, dear one. We could only survive spiritually with a single priest, but we could not thrive - we need to celebrate as frequently as possible, we pray and aim to celebrate the Divine Liturgy every single day, and that is very hard on a single priest. Now, by the grace of God, we shall be able to celebrate more frequently in both Monasteries. Christ is risen, dear one!
He is risen, indeed!! Dear Father, I am so happy that God has blessed you with this new doubling of priestly energy. I look forward to a time when I may be blessed to meet you all. Amen. 🙏
Your words, Father Seraphim, are so deeply encouraging. I now feel even stronger to take up all strength to continue the struggle. Christ is risen, let us fix our inner eyes on him, let's try to do this permanently. May God bless you all in this remote place at the sea, for the work and the spirit you do for us and send to us.
Indeed he is risen! I am happy for Fr. Fillan and all of you on Iona and Mull including the little sheep and birds I heard in the background 🐑. I will try not to let your words fall around me, but rather place them in my heart so I can remain present and do acts of love for Christ.
Hristos a înviat!
Truly He is risen! Thank you so much for this joyous message about the unique aspect of this time between the Resurrection and the Ascension. I am always learning something new here, and I've taken your words to heart. This was my ninth Pascha as an Orthodox Christian and even though I am a senior citizen, in the faith I'm just a little child! Thank you. ♥

Glory be unto God the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit now and unto the ages of ages, Amen ! 🌷 Christ our God is indeed ever present it is us who need to be present..so besutifully explained...Thank you and may God bless you and every soul that you and each and every one of us may receive and abid in HIS Glorious Divine Power of Love and Truth..🌷
Thank you, Father Aldea, for your encouraging words and the sharing of your joyful spirit... May He who has RISEN Bless you and your community. I send you love and light.
It's great to see you back, and great to hear you will have another priest to share some of the load with. I had little idea how much I relied on this channel, until you missed a week, and my first thought was, I hope all is well, then I had to look through your old videos to find one I had not seen to get weekly dose of wisdom. :)
Christ is Risen!! ☦️ Overjoyed to hear the news of Fr. Fillan’s ordination! ♥️ What a blessing that is for your whole community! Thank you for this message, dear Father Seraphim. I’m so easily distracted and do a horrible job of being present for Christ. Lord have mercy. I wish I was sitting there at that table with you and the resurrected Christ on that beautiful island with Sister Mary’s garden in the background! Give my Paschal greetings to everyone!
What a joy to hear from you, dear one. Well, you know the table and you know the garden 😊 You also know we are all waiting patiently for your next visit, either to the islands or to Moldavia (you would love our monasteries there, especially as we are immediately welcomed as one of them because of my relationship with them)! Speaking of Moldavia, Sister Mary is now sister (rassophore) Theodora; when she was tonsured a rassophore (the first step towards the full monastic tonsure) she received the name of St Teodora of Sihla, a Moldavian hermit whose cave hermitage in the forest we visit every year during our pilgrimage there. All our love in Christ to both of you.
@@mullmonastery Christ is Risen! 🌷 We would LOVE to experience Moldavia with all of you! And with the great friends we made on pilgrimage on Mull and Iona! What exciting news for Sister Theodora! ♥️ May she and all of you be blessed abundantly! 🪻🌺🌸
@@mullmonastery Father, I have a request to make, if you can then please do a video on what it is like to be a priest or monk, how to discern a call from God. I am seriously considering these things and I feel God is calling me to do this, but I am afraid of being mistaken somehow and insult God by wanting to be a priest.
If I cannot see Christ in my own former/continuing to be in the public according to some my husband almost always not present before me then for sure there is something seriously wrong with me. Christ in the sense of unity in purpose while following Jesus. We remain friends in a very limited sense. Very strange is putting that situation of ours mildly too.
+++ Father, at the 12:15 mark you say, Christ will “tempt you”. I would like to respectfully suggest that according to James 1:13-15, neither the Father, nor the Son, nor the Holy Spirit ever “tempt” anyone. Another choice of words might be a wise move. 13 No one, when tempted, should say, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil and he himself tempts no one. 14 But one is tempted by one’s own desire, being lured and enticed by it; 15 then, when that desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and that sin, when it is fully grown, gives birth to death. [New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition] +++
The Lord has taught us to pray that God 'does not lead us into temptation', my dear one. God does tempt his chosen ones - at times, in order to teach them how to do spiritual battle and to strengthen them in their faith; other times to keep them focused on the temptation before them and to distract them from other, more serious sins; other times to strengthen those around them in their faith by witnessing the steadfastness of their faith; other times for reasons that are beyond human logic. This is part of the experience of God's people in the Old Testament (think of Noah) and the New, and something the Fathers have always recognised. One should never try to 'flatten' God according to our minimal understanding, but remain in awe at his Love, but also at His power. As Christ says: we should fear not the devil (who can destroy the body only), but God (who can destroy both the body and the soul). We should approach God with FEAR and love. Christ is risen, dear one!
