A Walk Through Limassol, Cyprus by Celebrity Cruises (Why I Wasn't A Fan)

- I recently visited Limassol, Cyprus with Celebrity Cruises and took a shore excursion. I was onboard Celebrity Apex and chose the Walk Through Limassol shore excursion through the cruise line.
I set sail on the Celebrity Apex in Rome, Italy (Civitavecchia) for a 12-night cruise to the Eastern Mediterranean. This was my second time on Celebrity Apex, which was my first cruise with Celebrity Cruises back in 2021. This time I was headed to Greece, Turkey, Israel, and Cyprus on this exciting voyage on Celebrity Apex.

Thanks Zach! We appreciate advice to save money. We like to use Celebrity's exursions, but will also walk around the port on our own as long as we know what we want to see and experience and we're confident we can walk back well ahead of all-aboard time. Keep up the great work!

In the Air Force I worked with the British on an RAF base in Akrotiri. One aspect I enjoyed was yes, it was like a Greek Island. But on the other side it was like an island near Turkey. The best part was the food was more varied, although both are very similar. Another great video. I hope you continue to have your subscriber numbers grow!

Laundry fee is definitely cheaper than bag charges each way. And then the less stress of carting around bigger cases. I’ll definitely be doing this.
sounds weird, but on our last cruise I brought old underwear and tossed them after use. They all go in the trash some day. Why not on a cruise?

Hi Zach, I like your videos. I have a question. I'm going on a Norwegian cruise. I don't know if they offer a free shuttle. In case they don't, do uou think It's safe to take a taxi or can I walk to the city?
You’d definitely want to take a taxi in that case. It’s a long, long walk to the city from the port. If they don’t offer a free shuttle they should at least offer shuttle for a fee and I’d recommend that. Thanks for watching and have fun!

Were cabs or Uber an option at the port of Limassol to town?
There were cabs, not sure about Uber.
Zack, does Celebrity have a single occupancy or do you have to pay double?
They do have a few solo staterooms on their E class of ships but those fill up quickly. You can sometimes find a solo supplement outside of that but if none of that is available then unfortunately you do have to pay double.
I want a real balcony. Disappointed in Celebrity’s big window. I’ll just get an inside cabin.
