I just got my traction bar for my crx yesterday one of the radius rods the hiem joint went in easily the other one was rough so this morning when I got into work I chased the threads with a tap and it went in like butter. Can’t wait to install it and my maxpeedingrods coil overs this weekend.
Could've swore I saw an h22 in the hf. That duct tape on the engine code had me laughing. Excited to see the end result

I was wondering the same thing. I havent been on youtube in a while and remember this had a b16 in it. I started looking through past videos and didnt see anything talking about an h series.
That "B16a trust me" in sharpie on the block had me rolling lol!
I recently purchased this traction bar myself. Awesome product, I spent another $120 on a b series front engine mount from Innovative, fits almost perfectly, just wrench your block couple inches higher. Night and day difference compare to old ebay bar. Strongly recommend.

It's not a bad traction bar for the price definitely, but if you plan on keeping the car for a very long time id get an innovative pro series bar. My MXR started rusting in spots after 6 months and the jam nuts would come loose all the time but it worked like it needed to.
that where that junkyard h went i knew it would end up in a car... static out here being sneaky its only a 1.6 hahaa

I just installed the Maxpeedingrods Coilover kit and this traction bar on my b17 89 crx this week. Still haven't driven it yet.. Need alignment.
1st impression, it's heavy. I didn't put em on a scale but, fully assembled it felt heavier than the OEM crossbar and rod assembly.
I had the same issue with one rod not liking the threads too! I swapped back n forth, used cutting oil and "finessed" the threads.
Final thought, Tho it's not as nice as say a $350 bar.. I'm very happy so far with what I spent on it.

How are you adjusting caster if it doesn't have the second joint? If you unbolt it from the lca to spin, with those holes being so loose, it is like hit an miss, not really accurate.

can you jack up the car with a floor jack with the aftermarket traction bar like oem? The innovative PRO-SERIES can do that. i don't know which one to get for my crx.😵
When you removed the stock toe hook and I saw that fresh paint scratched/chipped from the bolts I cringed... Maybe get some touch up paint to keep that engine bay looking flawless..
make sure the traction bar does not touches the cranck pulley when the suspension goes up
