The flathead found her way to you I see. I have an Evans 2x2 intake that you might be interested in for that engine. Give me a ring if you're interested. Might have some other flathead stuff sitting around also.

Hi AJ, I think I'm going to build it with the parts I have on hand. I'll ring you if I need something. Thanks

Great score! You have some expensive parts there!

Check to see if that front cover will work with that distributor, you might need an iron cover.

I don't think that is a Ford timing cover, don't the aluminum ones typically have a support for the bottom of the distributor shaft? The one in the video also has a nice clamp to secure the dizzy.

Hi Jeffrey, I didn't notice it before, but artnewland has a point. I went out and looked at it closer and think it may be an aftermarket piece. No name on it, but it has a built-in pointer and distributer shaft clamp. I have an iron cover if I need one though.

@@aarondominguez4533 I'd love to know more about that timing cover, I've machined a few SBC distributors for use in a 8BA style engine, and it's always a pain to come up with a way to hold it down. BTW, I've just completed the second drive on my new engine in my 31 AV8. Check it out if you are so inclined. ruclips.net/video/OUwzkKeWp4U/видео.html
