    Great video! Very informative as I live two hours from the closest Fusion Mineral paint supplier over here in Germany. This video helped me narrow down the choices so now at least I know which color samples to order. Vielen Dank.

    Thanks so much for all this detail! It can be completely confusing to look at them stacked up in their bottles and try to decide what to use when. I found myself wishing I had a transcript of your comments to refer to later - guess I'll watch again and frantically jot down the nuances you mention.

      Did u know there is a transcript to the video in the drop down Description just under the video above comments? Imagine you do but thought I’d mention just in case it could be of use. 😀

    This is SO helpful. I have used Casement, Raw Silk and Chateau. Next I'd like to try Champlain. It's incredible how different they look next to each other.

    I just started to paint my kitchen with Raw Silk, and it's way too yellow and dark. I don't see how it could be in the category of white. I'm hoping I can return all the jars I bought. Also, the paint dries too fast, so it's extremely hard to not get brush strokes. It's tacky to apply, similar to primer. And a little does not go a long way, as the owner claims. I saw someone paint their kitchen in cashmere and casement and it looks totally different from the cashmere and casement in this video. So that gave me the idea that all the colors are lighter than whats in this video. But after using Raw Silk myself its not only not lighter but is also more yellowy. So, I think it's impossible to know anything from a screen. The best thing is to get testers first. This is what I've learned unfortunately.

    Your video helped a lot when deciding the tone. Chose Cashmere and it really looks the same as on my screen in this video. I was picking between Cashmere and champlain and finally made my decision. Really happy with the result - warm greyish white with a touch of lilac tone.
    Next I’m probably trying limestone.

    Thank you for this video! Very helpful!Just bought Victorian Lace. I have previously used raw silk and casement. Raw silk next to Victorian Lace looks very creamy. For a self leveling paint your paint strokes are very noticeable - how do you prevent that on your projects? I see them in my projects as well.

    • @LostFoundDecor
      @LostFoundDecor  2 года назад +1

      Hi Katherine! So it wouldn’t really call Fusion self-leveling, at least not in the same way an oil-based or enamel paint is. Because it’s a zero VOC product, it can’t perform quite the same way where you paint it on and it settles into that glass smooth finish. So I do usually see and have brush strokes, but I don’t see them as an issue unless there is streaking, or the strokes are thick and heavy. Also, the Fusion whites can be a bit thicker and heavier, which means more brush strokes. I do love the Staalmeester microfelt rollers with Fusion, if you want to avoid brush strokes completely :) Hope you enjoy your Victorian Lace!

    Awesome! Thank you! Just what I was looking for. I primed with 123 bullseye, then behr paint satin finish in bleached linen. Love the color but not the finish. just dried to quickly. It was a long /wide piece. Which of these would be the closest? I’m looking for a more neutral white. Not cold but not too warm (going into a yellow) either. I do want a clear color but not necessarily bright white. For a console and other furniture pieces. Any recommendations? Thank you

      I’m not familiar with that color, but if you don’t want yellow I would stay away from Limestone for sure! Perhaps try Cashmere?

    Hi, thank you for the very helpful presentation of whites in fusion mineral, I am planning to paint my real leather furniture in either victorian lace or cashmere, how can I pick from the two?

    • @LostFoundDecor
      @LostFoundDecor  2 года назад

      Victorian Lace is a much more clean, bright white. Cashmere is more of an off-white, much less bright. With whites it really can be helpful to grab a small tester size and see how each color looks in your own light :)

    Hi, new sub here, I have a question about solutions for bleeding, it happens to me and I’m wondering how you prevent it and if you know ahead that it’s going to happen. I don’t know if you discussed this already and if you did please let me know in which video. I really appreciate your tutorials you are very talented!

    This mineral paint shows the brush strokes. How do you prevent that?

    • @LostFoundDecor
      @LostFoundDecor  9 месяцев назад

      It can for sure. I use their highest quality brush, don't overwork it or lay on it too thick (thin coats work better), and use a roller for flat tops. It's a low VOC paint so it doesn't have the ingredients in it to be stroke-free, but I still find it to be smooth. Hope that helps!
