Thank you so much for comparing the two types of paint. There are so many choices & it gets confusing.I love the way the mineral paint has a smooth finish. Can. ‘t wait to see how you blend mineral paint.

THANK YOU ....Ive been totally confused about the different chalk paints. I think I might now be leaning to the mineral version now that you have explained it all to me.

I'm very surprised that a trained Annie Sloan stockist made this presentation. Contrary to this video, Annie Sloan Chalk Paint can easily achieve a flat/smooth finish using a synthetic flat brush to paint every which way "Annie style" using well mixed watered-down Chalk Paint in thin layers, and then finishing the coat by laying down the paint in one direction. Annie's official website has several wonderful smooth finish demonstrations and instructions.

Does the mineral paint still get bleed through like chalk paint..I notice that it was dark mahogany type wood which can be prone to it..? 😊🇬🇧

well technically if it has an acrylic base that is with an acrylic binder - it is NOT a real mineral paint . mineral point should have potassium silicate as a binder . but please correct me if I am wrong

I lost sound at the end…? Btw: why do all the refinished leave the hardware on & drawers in? Dunno. Seems like it wouldn’t turn out very professional looking…?
