I much prefer breaststroke as I don’t want to miss some of the fantastic sights, and wildlife interaction, that you get swimming outside

I much prefer breaststroke in open water. I feel safer seeing where I am going, seeing other river users, seeing the wildlife …and the occasional floating log! It doesn’t get the love or attention it should - more tips and advice please, I’m bored of the obsession with front crawl. Also, I have this wetsuit and it’s fab! Thanks 👍

My main issue with breast stroke, which I love, is that it gives me knee, back and neck problems (and I think that's fairly common) so I'd be interested in a video which addresses that, although I'll certainly take on board keeping my elbows in, as I thought that looked as if it might be the key.

Amazing product placement for Zone 3. Congratulations on the ‘infomercial’ ps. Zone 3 products are hit or miss affairs and the wetsuits tend to tear themselves apart under the arms.

I love this video, also I have the same wetsuit wich is fantastic for breast stroke since it takes away neoprene from the legs to allow more movement whilst reducing buoyancy so that you can make the kick. Looks cool as well.

I like the breastroke because less pressure in the shoulders. What is the maximum distance a swimmer can do in this style? It is suitable for long distance open water swimming?
