What in the world?! You can use all purpose flour?!?!? My mind is literally blown right now 🤯 I’m always so amazed at people that can come up with as many unique recipes as you do!
For the time being, I will continue to use Almond flour for my macarons, as I have a lot of Almond flour and am still trying to become better with them. However, thank you Very Much for showing us how to do macarons with All Purpose flour, especially the details and differences about macaronage and baking. Bound to come in handy later.
My mother has allergies to almond flour, thank you for the recipe! She loves eating them even if she regrets it later so this will be a very good alternative
The almond buttercream has almond flour in it right? So if we're making these with all purpose flour to avoid using almond flour, wouldn't we need to make traditional buttercream instead of almond buttercream?
I'm from the Caribbean and I've always had a problem with making Macarons but today I did hit the ball out the park with this recipe. Thank you sooo much for taking the time to explain in detail and sharing your knowledge. I APPRECIATE YOU❤

i have been doing flour macarons and i am using brown silicon macaron template(one with the groove) and i am using a very small oven that if i set it to 300f plus convection it will wrinkle and chewy on the inside,i usually go for 130c and it takes 25-30 min.but some say silicon traps moisture inside and thats what i thought to so.Some batches it came out good, another problem is even i bake them at 300f for 18 min shells on the top are still soft using french method.i live in the philippines and humidity here is high.what i do is w/o resting pop them in the oven for 5 mins at 90-120c slightly door open.
Love your recipes! And I might add I’ve made macarons for a while with only moderate success. Your method is the only one that seems to work for me. Any chance you have a fluffer nutter recipe?
