For Luffy v. Kaido, I'd say give it a few more weeks, since those of you who know, know. Then it'll be time to react, because from the rumors I hear it's going to be on par or better with the animation for the fights so far.
But great job as always guys, keep up the great work, and can't wait for you to see and revisit the key points of the story we all love.
These eps had only 1month of animation time but they've been working on the gear 5ep for 6+months its def gonna be better

i mean it should be its the biggest fight in wano but the word you just said "rumors" is a pretty strong word considering its just mega fans making shit up for hype and dont actually know anything because unless they work for toei im sure they havent seen it. just like how every one currently is saying 4 episodes until you know what but those are just people who skimmed the manga and claim that its a confirmed date when its not and theyre just counting chapters but dont actually realize that unless its a major point in a major fight toei doesnt even do a full chapter per episode, which ill add is bullshit considering pretty much every anime youve ever watched covers around 30-40 chapters per 12 episodes.

I was also impressed with this episode. The animation made it seem like a final war of the strongest. I would have to say this has been the best episode in terms of fight scenes and animation of OP so far. Superb animation.
The anime did a great job on this episode. Watching more recent stuff could be a very good way to get more people on the channel 😊.

They not laser actually more like aura or wind blade/shockwave came from the attack just like breathing techniques effect from Demon Slayer, the animators usually gave them colors so we can see it, funny enough Armament haki supposed to be colorless, the dark/black effects only for audiences/watcher see they using haki or not, that's way Doffy laughed at Luffy when he used G4
U can see it at internet Luffy G4 without haki coating, it's cursed as hell😂

@@Yakunoh First of all idk where you get that translation because Haki mean Spirit, Ambition, Wilpower and the correct meaning of Busoshoku no Haki is Armament type of Haki.
second Rayleigh explained to Luffy 3 type of Haki and when he explained about Armament haki he said
"Next, we have Armament Haki, this is something like wearing invisible suit of armor" source: Onepiece chapter 597 page 12.
Third if you talk about Kokuto blade Oda sensei already gave another input

Finally read chapter 1035 last night (this fight the episode focuses on, basically,) so I knew I had to see what this reaction was like 4 months ago. Damn, dude, Toei once again is going all out crazy nuts with hyping up an already huge hype moment in the manga. Though I'm not so impressed with the sound effects. Probably because I'm not hearing them directly like you are. Honestly, I feel like I've heard these sound effects so often in the One Piece anime, that they're just not a big deal to me anymore. But the animation itself is something else entirely.
And yeah, gotta say, I think King might be my favorite of Kaido's underlings. Love his design, love his powers, love his whole cool, tough attitude. And his whole backstory from what I've seen so far sounds like an interesting mystery to dig deeper into. Kinda makes me wish I could be King's race in our DnD game. lol
But man, they went and made him more like Sephiroth from FF7 than he already was. Black clothes, big wings, big-ass sword, and huge JRPG final boss attacks. Tell me I'm wrong.
And of course, shoutout to my favorite anime swordsman: Roronoa "King of Hell" Zoro. Right hand man of the new King of the Pirates, and the man who will be the greatest swordsman in the world. Dude's reaching light levels of Dragon Ball strength here if flexing his muscles with a sword swing can create huge shock waves that tear apart the landscape.

Well.. it has nothing to do with new abilities to be honest, it's Toei the animation studio that decided to fucking one piece up by making it look like dragonball super. For some reason they didn't believe one piece could keep up with other shonen with its old more grounded animation style.
I see this complaint and don’t understand it. The audience needs to be able to tell that people are getting stronger and this accomplishes that along with looking badass as fuck
@@20Quarters No, what it does is tricking the audience shit is happening that really isn't. We've been able to see the crew's strength progression with no problem after the timeskip (up until Wano).

@@tobiaswedin Kind of late here, but as an anime only, I thought the glowing effects were meant to represent the imbuement of conquerors haki into attacks. Or is this simply a stylistic choice on Toei's behalf?

King could have had conquerors if it wasn’t for him covering himself unlike Katakuri who only did it for his sisters safety
Zoro bones are not broken here. The minks gave him medicine that temporary heals him 100% and after the effect wears off you receive twice as much pain as you in before acquired medicine

But Zoro has non of that, he is just a dude, no special characteristics to make him stronger. i dont really know what their gonna do for the final attacks of luffy vs kaido to top how extra they went with king, i know how theyll handle luffys attack but kaidos was kinda lame even in the manga. tbf though i dont think you could have made kaidos character have another move that would have actually seemed like a reasonable counter to luffys attack.
