  • As more people start focusing on their health, personalized nutrition is growing.
But it’s important to make sure that you understand what personalized diets entail, and how you can take the right steps to build the best nutrition plan for you. The best person to help you get started? Dr. Chris Masterjohn, who earned his PhD in Nutritional Sciences in 2012 and has been deeply entrenched in the research for 20+ years!
In this episode, Chris Masterjohn and Joe discuss issues with the RDA (Recommended Dietary Allowance), the differences in how they tackle health issues that come their way, and Chris outlines the steps he takes to discover the best supplements that improve his overall health!
Chris talks about how his battle with mold toxicity, how he solved a twitching problem, and his current experiment with a supplement that he thinks will be game-changing for his health.
Chris Masterjohn served as Assistant Professor of Health and Nutrition Sciences at Brooklyn College, part of the City University of New York. In the fall of 2016, he made the decision to leave academia and pursue independent research, consulting, working on information products, collaborating on information and technology products, and producing tons of free content to help people gain better health.

they needs to be a distinction between synthetic vit c (ascorbic acid and ascorbate) and the whole vit c complex obtained from food
synthetic vit c is only the outer shell of the vit c complex and has been shown to destroy ceruloplasmin the copper based enzyme and transport protein thats essential
for many things including iron regulation/circulation and clean energy production
syn vit c inhibits these enzymatic actions while reducing bioavailable copper
it also removes the needed central copper-based tyrosinase enzyme found in complex c as well as a layer of j, k and p factors, and a ascorbingen and rutin layer
also most synthetic vit c is from genetically modified corn coming from china

Can you share some links which support these ideas, or are you just paraphrasing Morley Robbins?

Drop foot, he thought high dose of pent??? acid caused added alpha lipoic acid and biotin. Believed pent???? acid used same transport mechanism as biotin so blocking biotin uptake.

He’s 46 and looks great. His mind works extremely well.
That’s a silly metric you’re basing off of.. but do you.
And incase it’s politically related, He was on the forefronts protesting, asking his audience to sign petitions, and posting continually censored vids to fight the vax mandates

Do you just mean Joe’s extremely unscientific, very experimental approach? I’d so, I completely agree. But he’s been shredding his cred for a long time doing this haha. If you follow his Instagram, you know. But masterjohn always provides amazing info so it’s the first Cohen pod I’ve listened to
